The waiting time was always long. A week had passed since the butler delivered that letter, and there was no reply, as if it had sunk into the sea.

Just as Aaron couldn't help but want to personally visit East Tucker Manor to see Joseph Weil and understand the situation, a reply finally arrived late.

Aaron nodded slightly as he looked at the reply in his hand. It wasn't too late; he hadn't been idle this past week.

On the table in front of him were three iron boxes. These were a batch of extremely practical Beyonder bullets that he had asked Mr. Michel Viede to craft, using existing materials and his own ideas.

The bullets inside the iron boxes were divided into three types, each placed in a separate iron box.

The bullets in the first box had a faint golden luster on their surface, as if they had just been pulled from hot water, and were called 'Purification Bullets'.

The surface of these bullets was engraved with symbols and marks from the Sun domain, forming a complete rune that could effectively purify ghost-type Monsters and harm more powerful Wraiths and spirits.

The bullets in the second box were entirely silver, covered in patterns, cold yet sacred, and were called 'Demon-Hunting Bullets', which were highly effective against defiled and corrupt creatures.

The bullets in the last box were brass-colored on the outside, with golden light emanating from within, and one could vaguely see many symbols and marks engraved inside. They were called 'Exorcism Bullets', which were more effective against evil-type Monsters.

Besides these bullets, there was also a bottle of Sun Holy Water that Aaron had condensed from the sun ring by consuming his spirituality.

After all, he didn't have the rich background of the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery to squander, to luxuriously use various scrolls and Beyonder consumables to achieve the effect of an artillery barrage.

Although an Artisan had joined, those things required a lot of time to prepare before they could be slowly forged.

Aaron was already very satisfied with such results in a short period, which showed that Michel Viede was sincerely working for him, at least not slacking off.

Aaron felt a weight on his shoulder as a white cat jumped onto it, also staring at the letter in Aaron's hand, and read in pure Loenese with a noble accent:

"I am aware. We can act tonight."

Evelyn wagged her tail and asked curiously, "What kind of action? Is it like the detective catching bad guys described in 'Stormwind Mountain Villa'? Can you take me with you?"

Aaron, with a face full of black lines, picked her up by the scruff of her neck and placed her on the table.

Ever since this fellow drank the Spectator potion, she had been constantly reading various books, eavesdropping on the butler's conversations, learning Loenese, and reading all sorts of strange books from who knows where.

Evelyn unhappily patted the table with her paw, protesting Aaron's impolite behavior towards her, and said loudly and haughtily:

"If I'm not going, then I'm not going. As a proud White Feather Spirit Cat, I don't like participating in any detective games."

After speaking, she secretly glanced at Aaron, observed his expression and micro-expressions, confirmed that he really didn't intend to take her, and became even angrier.

Looking at the sulking Evelyn, Aaron smiled and said in a teasing tone:

"This isn't a detective game. We're exploring a Fourth Epoch mausoleum, and it's very dangerous inside. I only dared to explore it after inviting a demigod. I can't guarantee your safety then."

Evelyn, who had been sulking with her back to Aaron, immediately jumped back onto Aaron's shoulder after hearing him, and said in a sweet, fawning tone:

"Oh, so that's how it is. Then I won't go."

"After all, this cat is only a Sequence 9, and there's still a lot of knowledge I need to learn. I still need to constantly work hard to help you, so I'll just stay at home and study diligently."

"Meow, and the book says that accompanying the master on a hunt is what dogs should do, and I'm just a cat."

Looking at Evelyn, who had once again been picked up from his shoulder and placed on the table, still sitting gracefully, Aaron didn't want to know which books she had read these words from.

He just secretly planned to have the butler clean up the books at home after he returned, gave a few instructions, and then got up and left to prepare for the evening's action.

Evelyn pretended to flip through the books on the table. After confirming that Aaron's footsteps had faded, she quickly and elegantly jumped to a dark corner of the spacious balcony outside the French window.

She didn't leisurely stride with elegant cat steps along the window sill and leave the luxurious villa of the East Tucker family from another direction until she saw Aaron's carriage drive out of the gate.

-----------------

The red moonlight poured down, and all was silent.

On the outskirts of Backlund, south of the South of the Bridge in White Cliff Town, a river rushed from afar, making a bend around the cliff ahead.

One side of the cliff was bare, revealing pure white rock, and from a distance, it had an unusually sacred beauty.

At the bend of the nearby Stratford River, next to a hidden tomb entrance, men and women in black coats, carrying various artifacts, gathered around a hidden underground entrance.

The three leading figures stood at the underground entrance. Aaron looked at the two people opposite him with a strange expression. Joseph Weil stood beside another man, and a strong aura of iron and blood emanated from him.

Aaron knew him: Reinhardt Weil, one of the five demigods he had seen on the bottom floor of Ancestral Tower, a Sequence 4 Iron-Blooded Knight.

Aaron finally understood why he had waited so long. It turned out he had sought help from his family. He then glanced at the expressionless Joseph Weil and briefly said, "Begin the operation."

Eight Beyonders descended in succession. Reinhardt Weil, holding a bronze spear, walked at the very front, with Aaron following closely behind, while Joseph Weil remained at the end of the team.

The remaining five Beyonders stayed in the middle of the team, guarding their surroundings. Two Beyonders remained on the surface to guard the entrance and protect their retreat.

The black marble steps, having withstood one or two thousand years of erosion, still maintained sufficient hardness, with no signs of corrosion.

The group followed the steps all the way underground and saw asymmetrical stone pillars and patterns that looked like they had been carved by knives and axes, characteristic of the Fourth Epoch.

Those pillars stood on either side of a wide path, and ahead was a huge, heavy, double-leafed dark gray stone Door.

They checked the outer area according to the established plan but found nothing of value.

Looking at the gap in front of them, wide enough for two people to pass side by side, and the deep gloom within, Reinhardt Weil and Joseph Weil exchanged glances.

The former raised his hands, condensing four blazing white flame spears in his palms, and waves of heat assailed them.

The latter's body glowed with a dawn-like radiance, and he said word by word, "No entering the Spirit World. No spirit body etherealization."

A wave of illusory ripples spread from Joseph Weil's feet into the deep space behind the stone Door.

Standing behind, Aaron immediately felt the uneasy thoughts of the Spirit World creature within the death mask. It could no longer hide in the Spirit World or etherealize to avoid damage.

Before Aaron could react, four streaks of light, formed by blazing white flame spears, shot into the Door. A booming explosion was heard, and the heavy stone Door trembled slightly.

Inside the stone Door, the blazing white flame spears shattered, turning into fiery whips that tore apart the fleeing, wailing, illusory figures, turning them into specks of light or condensing into crystals that fell.

Aaron silently put away the Sun Holy Water he had prepared, as if he had never taken it out, and then watched the churning sea of fire before him with some shock.

Joseph Weil's gaze swept over Aaron, and he withdrew his gaze with satisfaction, the corners of his mouth turning up.
