The man opposite, whose face was unfriendly, showed obvious struggle and hesitation.

Lord Aaron's heart stirred slightly, his spirituality moved, and his words seemed to carry a convincing charm and sufficient authority, which was one of the abilities granted to him by the Arbiter.

"I imagine those stolen paintings must be priceless and very important to you."

"Otherwise, you wouldn't have offered such a high reward of 500 pounds. Every minute of delay increases the risk."

"It's just borrowing an item from me. If you're uneasy, I can also offer money as collateral."

The dark-skinned man opposite finally nodded slowly and led Lord Aaron into the cabin.

At the same time, Lord Aaron also felt a subtle digestion of his potion, and his suppressed and tense mood relaxed slightly.

Lord Aaron entered the cabin and found that the man dressed as a captain was also inside, looking at Lord Aaron with gloomy eyes.

At the same time, Lord Aaron felt another oppressive gaze from deep within the cabin, like thorns in his back. Lord Aaron's face showed a smile to hide his unnatural expression.

He suppressed the urge to turn his head and look at that gaze, nodded to the man dressed as a captain, and continued to follow the dark-skinned man into a compartment.

It wasn't until the compartment door closed that the cold gaze gradually disappeared. Lord Aaron exhaled; that oppressive feeling was from at least a Sequence 5 Beyonder.

It seems the Rose School of Thought of Thought attaches great importance to this theft, having dispatched a Sequence 5. The more importance they place on it, the higher the value of the stolen item.

The dark-skinned man ignored Lord Aaron and didn't worry about any small movements from him; he seemed very confident.

He rummaged for a while, took out a dark black curtain from a wooden box, and handed it to Lord Aaron, saying in an unfriendly tone:

"This is the curtain that was used to wrap the paintings back then to prevent them from being damaged."

"I have met your request. I hope you remember what you said, otherwise..." He snorted, his threatening intent clearly visible on his face.

Lord Aaron didn't try to be tough, continued to act aloof, and showed an even brighter smile: "Don't worry, I am a very trustworthy person."

At the same time, he snorted inwardly: "I hope you can still be so tough then."

Having obtained what he wanted, Lord Aaron did not linger and left the Docklands under the gaze of several eyes.

Seeing Lord Aaron leave, the dark-skinned man whispered to the man dressed as a captain next to him: "I'll send someone to follow him."

Leaving the Docklands and returning to Iron Gate Street in the Backlund Bridge area, Lord Aaron felt the tail behind him and the corners of his mouth curled slightly upward.

He turned and walked into a dark alley, using the physical qualities granted by the Arbiter to widen the distance from his pursuer.

In a dark corner, Lord Aaron's spirituality emanated, and abstract oil paintings, similar to colorful ones, reappeared before his eyes, with rich colors all around.

As if only a few seconds passed, all of this abruptly disappeared, the colors faded, and Lord Aaron was already back in his research studio compartment in Backlund's St. George Borough.

Just a few seconds later, a man dressed in a linen robe with slightly dark skin also arrived at that dark corner.

The area was already empty. Realizing he had lost his target, he roared in anger, madness showing in his eyes, and punched the wall, sending tiles flying.

Inside the compartment, Lord Aaron's lips curved into a mocking arc, and he thought gleefully:

"Spirit World traversal is really useful. You guys want to track me? Do you really think I'm just an ordinary Hunter? You can't even see my taillights."

Taking out the curtain from his In arms, Lord Aaron didn't see anything unusual. No longer dwelling on it, he took off his mask and changed back into his luxurious formal attire.

He placed the curtain in a specially made pocket inside his coat, then walked out of the compartment to inspect the work progress again, before taking a carriage back to the luxurious villa of the East Tucker family.

As soon as Lord Aaron entered the villa hall, he asked the butler to call Darren to the third-floor bedroom. A moment later, Lord Aaron saw Darren, dressed in a black overcoat, and casually handed him the curtain.

"This is the curtain that was used to wrap the paintings. Use dream divination to see roughly where the paintings are."

Darren nodded slightly, not avoiding it. He took the curtain, spread it flat, untied the crystal pendant from his right wrist, suspended it over the curtain, and murmured to himself.

A moment later, fine beads of sweat suddenly appeared on Darren's face, and his mouth opened. Before Lord Aaron could get up, Darren opened his bloodshot eyes.

Darren's legs went soft, and he nearly collapsed directly to the ground. He took a few deep breaths, composed himself, and looked up at Lord Aaron, who had walked to his side with a look of concern.

He spoke with a slight apology: "I apologize, Lord Aaron, I was impolite."

Just as Lord Aaron thought there was no harvest and was secretly puzzled, Darren slowly whispered:

"I... I think I saw it. In the warehouse at 122 Stolle Street in the Backlund Bridge area, there were shattered bodies, splattered blood, a scene of crimson..."

Lord Aaron looked at Darren, who was slumped on the ground, muttering to himself and clearly not normal, his brows tightly furrowed. He raised his right hand, and spirituality surged into the sun ring on his index finger.

A warm, pure light projected onto Darren, which was the Holy Purification provided by the sun ring.

Under the illumination of the Holy Purification, Darren's physical state visibly improved. He stopped muttering, as if waking from a dream, looked around, his eyes filled with astonishment and fear, and hurriedly got up to thank Lord Aaron.

Lord Aaron felt a little relieved seeing Darren's reaction, but he didn't stop his actions.

"Darren, how do you feel?" Lord Aaron asked with concern in his voice, as this was indeed due to his oversight.

Although Lord Aaron had guessed that the lost painting was not simple, he didn't expect that merely divining its location could cause remote corruption.

Darren slowly nodded. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and then opened his eyes again. His eyes had now regained clarity, though they were even more bloodshot.

Lord Aaron frowned and slowly spoke to Darren:

"Go down and rest well later. Come to me for a Holy Purification once a day for a week, and do not use divination during this week."

"Also, have your subordinates secretly investigate a cargo ship from the Southern Continent in the Docklands, the one that recently had a theft."

"Remember, it's a secret investigation. Even if it's difficult to get deep clues, don't alert the enemy. Remember, this is very dangerous."

After Darren, looking slightly pale with bloodshot eyes, nodded in agreement and went downstairs, Lord Aaron sighed helplessly.

He felt that it would be better to find an Artisan to help create an item for divination in the future. He could use divination within the Nation of Disorder, getting clearer images, and also deal with some potential corruption.

"Warehouse at 122 Stolle Street in the Backlund Bridge area." Lord Aaron silently repeated the location Darren had mentioned during the divination.

Based solely on Darren's reaction, he knew that the stolen painting itself contained a certain amount of corruption and needed to be handled with caution.

He couldn't help but pinch his brow, feeling a bit emotional about his luck.
