Info Chapter (Part 2): Beyond the Path – Traits and Transcendence
---
Once a fighter reaches The Path, many believe that it is the pinnacle of martial growth. But the truth is—The Path is only a gateway. If one does not feel satisfied, that hunger, that mentality itself, becomes the opening to a new world of power.
Potential and The Path
A talentless man can rise to Awakened.
An average man can claw his way into Ascension.
A genius can step into Mastery.
But only the Chosen Ones may reach The Path.
Yet, if even the Chosen refuse to stop there, they begin to evolve into monsters.
---
The Birth of Traits
After Mastery, a fighter can awaken a Unique Trait within themselves. These Traits represent the core of their fighting spirit—the raw truth of their will.
The most common is Heat Mode, but there are others, rarer and far more terrifying.
—Primary Traits—
HeatMode – The surge of willpower and adrenaline. Allows temporary Ascension and accelerates growth toward permanent Ascension. True mastery of Heat can only be achieved after Transcendence.
UltraInstinct– Movements born from instinct, unshackled from conscious thought.
Animal Instinct– Ferocity, primal aggression, and predatory precision.
Conviction (Uncleared) – Power drawn from an unshakable belief, a will that refuses to bend, often to protect or to never lose.
---
—TheHidden Traits—
Few ever awaken these—and fewer still survive their weight.
Despair (The Broken Blade)
A trait of the hopeless. To win at any cost, sacrificing morality, honor, and even one's own body. The embodiment of "whatever it takes."
Ex: Zack Lee was the only one to awaken Despair before Transcendence.
Pride (The Crown)
The unyielding rejection of weakness. To win only in fair combat, refusing tricks or dishonor. Pride fuels strength through dignity and the refusal to bow.
Joy (The Flame)
The thrill of combat itself. A fighter with Joy treats battle as a game, exchanging blows with a smile, growing stronger the more fun they have. Dangerous because their optimism never breaks.
Each trait pushes the fighter into a specific philosophy of battle:
Despair: Win at any cost.
Pride: Win the right way.
Joy: Fight to enjoy.
---
—Exceptions—
Some fighters awaken their Trait early, before The Path.
But in such cases, the trait is unpolished and imperfect.
Only after reaching Transcendence can the true essence of a Trait be revealed.
For example: Zack Lee's Despair awakened prematurely, raw and unstable, but will became devastating after his evolution.
---
Transcendence – The True Master
When a fighter awakens their Trait fully and polishes it through The Path, they achieve Transcendence.
Transcendence changes Mastery into True Mastery.
Strength → True Strength
Speed → True Speed
Durability → True Durability
Technique → True Technique
True Mastery is the next dimension of martial evolution. Its applications are vast, unique, and unlike anything seen in earlier stages.
---
📌 To be continued in Part 3 – where the mysteries of True Mastery will be revealed.
