Chapter 186: Talulah and Alina! Wings Never Tangle!
After satisfying a Enju-chan, Ren finally had time to deal with Talulah. Wrapping only a bath towel around his waist, he sat beside her and spoke to her vacant eyes. "It's true that you are a sinner, and you may deserve to die."
"But you belong to me now. As long as I don't want you to die, you won't."
Talulah didn't look at him, her eyes staring blankly straight ahead. This was within Ren's expectations, but his next words made her react.
"Alina…"
As soon as Ren uttered the name, Talulah turned her head to stare at him. Ren smiled playfully. "It seems you still have someone you care about."
"Alina is dead."
The faint ripple in Talulah's eyes immediately subsided. Alina was dead. That gentle Elafia girl would forever sleep in that pale, despair-inducing snowy plain.
As if to taunt her, Ren changed the subject. "Perhaps she didn't die completely."
Talulah chose not to believe him. She wasn't truly dazed or foolish; she simply hated her sins and forced herself into a state of self-blame. She could still perceive things around her, such as Ren and Aihara Enju's movements and passionate conversations. She also noticed Alina's name coming from Ren's mouth. The former didn't bother her, but the latter did. The clearly playful tone made it difficult for Talulah to trust what he was saying.
"I'm not kidding you." Ren took Talulah's soft hand in his left. He gently lifted her black, lace-edged cuff, revealing her fair, slender arm and the black Originium crystals growing from the flesh within.
"Have you ever heard the saying that Originium has memories?" Ren looked up, his ice-blue Mystic Eyes of Death Perception activating. "Then is it possible that Originium can also carry souls?"
As he spoke, his left hand touched the Originium. Without warning, he forcibly pulled the crystal and some flesh from her arm. Blood gushed from the wound. Despite the brutal act, Talulah remained expressionless and motionless.
Ren held the several-centimeter-long black Originium crystal before his eyes. In his ice-blue eyes, he saw many black Lines of Death, and severing any one of them could obliterate the Originium. However, a faint, flickering green Line of Death was particularly striking—the line belonging to a life.
He channeled his Primal Energy into the crystal, and the green line grew stronger. In his mind, he saw a different scene: a vast snowy plain, the Reunion Movement team, and Talulah in her military uniform.
He could distinctly feel Talulah's emotions in that memory. After a battle, she overheard her Shield Guards talking. She learned that a teacher from the Infected settlement had gone to deliver food to a nearby camp but hadn't returned. An instant dread of the unknown permeated Talulah. She frantically followed the tracks, searching for the missing teacher.
Finally, she saw a dying Elafia girl lying on the ground. Someone had attacked Alina, who was carrying the food, and left her on the frozen tundra. Alina's hands and feet were gone, and she was on the verge of death. She said her final farewell to Talulah.
Talulah cursed and carried Alina on her back, weeping as she vowed revenge. But the Elafia on her back advised her. It wasn't the villagers who were wrong; it was Ursus. They shouldn't punish the perpetrators, but instead, correct the root cause of it all.
The Elafia's voice grew fainter. Talulah kept saying she would take Alina back. For the first time, she felt the endless journey home. The white-haired Draco trudged through the boundless snow. The Elafia girl shivered uncontrollably on her back, occasionally gasping for air, her life nearing its end. Snowflakes slid from the Elafia girl's horns. Blood dripped from her body. Snow-covered trees silently burned after Talulah walked past. She had unconsciously ignited the land she had trodden upon.
Only the pale snowy plain before her was boundless. Only Alina on her back was warm. Alina's heartbeat, transmitted from Talulah's back into her heart, grew fainter and fainter. She wanted to scream! She wanted to cry bitterly! She wanted to squeeze all her feelings out of her lungs, as if that could erase everything that had happened. In the end, Talulah couldn't make a sound.
Talulah left a fiery path on the snowy plain. Everything but Alina had been consumed by the raging fire. Alina died. The fighter Talulah also died. What remained was only the undying Black Serpent. This was the death of Talulah and the rebirth of the undying Black Serpent.
Who was Alina? An insignificant Infected teacher. Yet, she was Talulah's last spiritual pillar, the secret key for the Black Serpent to seize her body. The girl's corpse, with her missing limbs, had already become the final straw that crushed Talulah's spirit.
"Is this what you wanted to show me? You want me to forgive her sins?" Ren seemed to be talking to the air. "Then you can rest assured, she belongs to me now. Whether she has sinned or not, I will not kill her."
The moment his words fell, a green light condensed from the Originium in his hand. The light expanded and transformed, and a humanoid figure took shape. Talulah's lifeless eyes brightened, and her pupils gradually dilated. Her eyes saw a figure that shouldn't exist anymore. That figure was Alina!
A naked Alina gently fell from the sky into Ren's embrace. Ren felt warmth radiating from her body. He was sure that her current state was alive. She was exactly the same as Abe no Seimei. This was indeed the little Elafia girl, Alina. The difference was that the moment Alina appeared, she was enveloped by the power of faith from the Faith Realm, transforming into a Redemption Angel.
Ren had not dealt with the Originium on Talulah's body precisely because he had previously discovered its strangeness. A line of life and death hidden within the Originium, no matter how one thought about it, was not simple. Now, it was proven that his guess was correct. Originium had memory, and it could also carry souls.
"Thank you, Ren." Alina looked at Ren with grateful eyes. Although she had died and her soul had merged into Talulah's Originium crystal, she had perceived everything in the outside world. She had witnessed Talulah's despair and had watched her being dragged into the abyss by the undying Black Serpent.
Alina was powerless; she hated her helplessness but couldn't help Talulah in the slightest. Until later, a light broke through the darkness. Alina saw the undying Black Serpent being killed, and she saw Ren save both Talulah and her.
"Alina… is that you?" Tears filled Talulah's eyes as the light returned to them. Her voice trembled. She was afraid that the Alina she saw was fake, that this was just a dream that would shatter upon waking, an illusory bubble. Talulah trembled as she reached out her hand, but she didn't dare to touch her.
"Talulah… it's me, I'm Alina." Alina's gaze and voice were just as gentle. These familiar, soft words made Talulah's heart race.
"Alina! My Alina!" Talulah couldn't hold back anymore and wanted to embrace her. Unexpectedly, Ren got up, picked up Alina, and walked away.
"Alina!" Talulah hugged the air. She looked up in a panic, frantically searching for Alina's figure. Could everything truly be fake? She only calmed down after seeing Alina safe in Ren's arms.
He lightly sniffed along her pure white body, from her arm all the way up to her cheek. Alina covered her chest with both hands, blushing and somewhat at a loss in Ren's embrace, like a startled fawn. After a light sniff, Ren showed a mischievous smile, looking at Talulah with a challenging glint in his eyes. "Talulah, have you misunderstood something? This is my Alina!" "Alina's first kiss belongs to me, Ren!"
With that, Ren kissed Alina's delicate lips. Alina didn't refuse, only trembling slightly. She clearly knew that this materialized Angelic Soul Body belonged to Ren. Her ownership belonged to Ren, and even Talulah's ownership belonged to Ren. Talulah's expression crumbled; something shattered in her eyes. Ren did it on purpose.
Girls? Yuri? Sorry, that won't work with me. He would eliminate any unstable factors from the root. This was a very special NTR. It was I, Ren, NTRing Talulah! Although Talulah and Alina might not have had such thoughts, Ren would resolutely prevent such things from happening. Wings? They must be my own! Tying the knot? Not in this lifetime!
However, there is something to be said. The delicate fragrance and soft warmth of the little deer's body, plus one naked and one half-naked person, allowed for the transfer of body temperature. And her extremely submissive, soft lips made Ren start to feel it. This reaction was seen by Talulah and sensed by the little deer in his arms.
"Mmm!" The little deer Alina had never experienced such a thing. Just sensing Ren and Aihara Enju in the Originium, she felt scared. Hideously terrifying. Enormously frightening. Were these her thoughts?
