# Chapter 9: A Deep World! The Adventurer Team, Four Weapons

2024-11-18 Author: Amnesty L

Tang Zheng had no intention of foolishly waiting around.

Sitting in the outermost area of the Arena, he had no idea how much longer he would have to wait until it was his turn to leave.

Even so, it still took about twenty minutes to exit the massive, ancient Arena.

The recently concluded duel between Gazef and Brain had truly been an eye-opening experience for the spectators.

Therefore, even now, the excited atmosphere of discussion hadn't diminished in the slightest. Instead, it grew even more fervent as people streamed out of the Arena.

Tang Zheng had initially thought he could breathe a sigh of relief upon leaving the crowded venue, but upon stepping out of the gates, he discovered even more people gathered outside.

Clearly, these were all people who couldn't afford to watch from inside the Arena but were just as eager to hear the results.

Both Gazef and Brain had a considerable number of supporters.

After all, this was the first time since the establishment of the grand tournament that no nobles had reached the final battle, only two commoners.

In the eyes of the nobility, this may have been a shameful match, but to the common folk, it was quite the opposite.

"Look, it's the Crimson Drop!"

Suddenly, gasps of surprise rippled through the crowd.

The next moment, the relatively open space around Tang Zheng became congested as everyone voluntarily cleared a wide path for a particular team.

Crimson Drop?

Tang Zheng's brows lifted slightly. He looked down the path cleared by the crowd, focusing on the figure walking at the very front.

A figure with light-gold, medium-length hair and a striking red streak over their forehead was the first to catch his eye.

The person wore a casual outfit: a black jacket over a red shirt styled like a noble's formal attire, with silver-black trousers.

Their entire demeanor exuded aristocratic elegance and composure. They occasionally waved to the people on either side, immediately eliciting a string of cheers from women, appearing rather high-profile.

Azuth Aindra!

This name surfaced in Tang Zheng's mind, and his gaze grew more serious.

He was the captain of the Crimson Drop, one of only two adamantite-rank adventurer teams in the Re-Estize Kingdom, and also a noble of the Kingdom, holding the title of Knight.

Tang Zheng glanced at the four figures behind Azuth Aindra; they were likely the other members of the Crimson Drop.

One was a middle-aged man in silver armor with a cold expression, carrying a very wide greatsword on his back.

Another was dressed as a magic caster in a light-blue robe. No staff was visible, and his entire body was obscured by the wide robe, though it was clear he was male.

The other two were also male.

One carried a longbow that faintly shimmered with a gray light. The other was somewhat shorter, very ordinary in both appearance and attire, making it impossible to discern his class from his appearance.

Compared to the others, this person had very little presence.

However, common sense dictated that such individuals were often the most dangerous.

Tang Zheng suspected the man was likely a rogue-type class but didn't know if these few constituted the entire team.

The Crimson Drop, whether in the anime or the novel, was a relatively mysterious team. Other than its captain, Azuth Aindra, none of its other members had ever appeared.

He hadn't expected to see them here.

Compared to the others, Tang Zheng was more focused on the captain, Azuth Aindra.

Although he didn't know the power level of the other members, he could guess that they definitely hadn't reached the Heroic Realm—that is, level 29 or above.

The only one who was truly dangerous was Azuth Aindra.

His personal strength wasn't particularly high; to be precise, it was likely the lowest on the entire team, yet he was the true core of the Crimson Drop.

The team existed because of him.

This wasn't because of his noble status.

It was because Azuth Aindra possessed a suit of level 51 Power Armor!

Because of this armor, Azuth Aindra's not-so-impressive strength was forcibly boosted, placing him in the top tier of combat power for the human race.

"Power Armor is something the humans of this world definitely can't manufacture. It must be a player's legacy."

"I just don't know if it's a legacy of the Six Great Gods, the Eight Greed Kings, or that captain of the Thirteen Heroes."

Tang Zheng's eyelids drooped slightly as he pondered silently.

This was a matter that probably only Azuth Aindra himself truly knew.

Besides Azuth Aindra, the only other individual known to possess Power Armor was the Platinum Dragon Lord, who owned a suit of around level 85. The novel even mentioned that he seemed to have more than one.

The Platinum Dragon Lord possessed more than just this one player legacy.

There were also several other True Dragon Lords; these beings all knew of the existence of Players and the game YGGDRASIL.

In short, the waters of this world ran deep.

If not for the overwhelming power of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, it could have truly suffered several major setbacks.

That leader of the Thirteen Heroes, a Player explicitly named Rick, met a disastrous end.

Not only did the Platinum Dragon Lord completely extract all information about Players and YGGDRASIL from him, but he also publicly declared that the captain of the Thirteen Heroes had suffered a psychological blow after accidentally killing his companions, leading to his premature death and his refusal to be resurrected.

The people of this otherworld would believe such a story.

But Tang Zheng, as a transmigrant, knew the character of Players all too well.

Refuse resurrection?

What a joke.

The Platinum Dragon Lord was clearly lying—a treacherous bastard through and through.

The Crimson Drop passed through the path cleared by the crowd, followed closely by several other adventurer teams, once again drawing exclamations from the onlookers.

Tang Zheng had expected to see the other adamantite-rank adventurer team, Blue Rose, but it wasn't them.

He didn't recognize any of these adventurer teams, but judging by their reception, they were likely orichalcum or mithril-rank teams.

Clearly, the duel between Gazef and Brain had attracted quite a few powerful individuals.

"It's time to go. The next steps are leveling up and solidifying my class build," Tang Zheng thought to himself, withdrawing his gaze and preparing to leave.

Hm?

As Tang Zheng turned his head, his peripheral vision caught the last adventurer team following the rest.

There were only four people, yet they were surprisingly eye-catching.

Two men and two women.

The most attention-grabbing were the two women walking at the front. One was a cold, beautiful woman with long black hair and blue eyes, clad in full-body armor.

The other had long pink hair and was dressed in clerical attire.

Though her outfit should have been sacred, its lower half was split open on both sides like a cheongsam, revealing black thigh-high boots and stocking-wrapped thighs.

Their appearance instantly drew the gazes of most men present.

He recognized this adventurer team.

"If I remember correctly, they're called Four Weapons. I almost didn't recognize them."

Tang Zheng recalled for a moment, and his gaze couldn't help but fall on the pink-haired cleric. His eyelid twitched, especially upon seeing her outfit.

"The fashion in this world is truly confusing."

"However, it's safe to assume it's related to the Six Great Gods or the Eight Greed Kings. The players' influence on this world, at least in terms of fashion, was a good thing."

This thought flashed through Tang Zheng's mind.

This adventurer team would become a mithril-rank team in the future, but it seemed they weren't there yet.

"Long black hair... no wonder I didn't recognize her at first." Tang Zheng looked at the cold-faced, black-haired woman in full-body armor.

In the future, her hair would be white. It wasn't for any special reason, but because she intentionally dyed it.

If one observed carefully, they could see the roots beneath her black hair faintly glinting with a golden color.

That's right, she was actually a blonde.

The Re-Estize Kingdom was a nation of blondes, and the reason she dyed her hair black was that it was more eye-catching and could boost the adventurer team's renown.

Dying it white in the future, however, was related to the Bone King.

The Bone King had created a team called Darkness to gather intelligence. After they became an adamantite-rank adventurer team, Four Weapons wanted to avoid the association. Whenever people mentioned the word "darkness," they would immediately think of the Bone King's team.

Therefore, she dyed her hair white.

Tang Zheng greatly suspected that their future status as a mithril-rank adventurer team was somewhat inflated.

However, being able to contend with a Death Knight in the future meant they must have had some real skill among adventurer teams.

In short, neither the pink-haired girl nor the blonde who liked to dye her hair were proper, serious people.

As for the other two male members... he had no impression of them at all.
