Chapter 235 - Chapter 234: New World

Chapter 234: New World

Even the AllSpark was claimed by the Primarch.

There would be no resurrection for the Chaos Bringer.

Outside the universe, in the void beyond reality, the war between Unicron and Primus continued.

In that emptiness, there was nothing, no spacetime, no physical laws. Only symbols formed by pure will clashed against one another. The spectacle lacked the visceral drama of the Primarch's battle against Scourge, yet the danger was absolute. Even a Primarch or Greater Daemon entering such a battlefield would be rendered as helpless as mortals, obliterated beneath the clash of titanic wills.

What the combatants looked like depended entirely on the observer's perception.

Some might witness The One and his adversary locked in conflict so profound that universes collapsed, stars were annihilated, and fundamental reality itself was unmade. Spacetime reversed, history rewrote itself, and countless timelines flickered into being only to be consumed by the flames of war.

From Raven's perspective, however, Primus and Unicron were simply two robots fighting, punching back and forth like something out of the movie Real Steel.

Primus couldn't defeat Unicron and was being pressed into the ground. Then the bare-chested, burly Emperor rushed in, enacting a scene straight out of a martial arts film, a peak-realm warrior fighting a giant robot. Finally, The One, who had been biding his time, transformed into a robot himself and rushed in, unethically stabbing Unicron from behind.

Just like that, Unicron fell.

Caught between Primus and the Emperor, and blindsided by The One's sudden strike, the Chaos Bringer was defeated.

But he did not die. Instead, he fled.

"One day, I will return!" Unicron roared as he escaped beyond the boundaries of the universe.

"Uh, who do you think you are? Team Rocket?" Raven muttered from his perch on the Emperor's shoulder.

The Emperor, Primus, and The One watched Unicron's retreat but had no current way to pursue.

Unicron was a god-level creation, existing beyond spacetime and dimensions, present across infinite multiverses. He was the embodiment of destruction, chaos, and darkness, a singular entity transcending eternity itself.

To destroy such a being, there was only one path: the Emperor would need to ascend and become the King of the End, the ultimate embodiment of ending and death.

But such a transformation was far too dangerous. The King of the End would destroy Unicron, yes, but he would also indiscriminately annihilate every universe in existence.

With Unicron's escape, the war came to an end.

The Imperium of Man and the Cybertronian civilization formed an alliance. They established shared laws and agreements on coexistence, trade, and mutual defense.

Beyond this, the Imperium borrowed two sacred artifacts of the Transformers Universe, the AllSpark and the Matrix of Leadership, for study, hoping to reverse-engineer them and unlock new technologies.

A sphere of light formed by the original power of the Transformers Universe materialized within Raven's Mist Space. The buildings there grew increasingly solid, as though a magnificent city was about to manifest fully within the dimensional pocket.

Raven found himself curious. 'If he collected enough primal essence, what kind of transformation would the Mist Space undergo then?'

The Transformers Universe was a prize worth savoring. It would take time to absorb the local cosmic laws and technology. In the short term, the Imperium would focus its energy on construction rather than conquest.

Raven was expecting another long, boring stretch of administrative work, which he would no doubt hand over to some poor bastard.

Then, while discussing the mysteries of creation, The One shared useful news with the Emperor and Raven: the Transformers Universe was very close to another universe.

He had originally intended to explore it, but Unicron's betrayal had left him wounded, forcing him to hide in the void to recover. He'd never been able to make the journey.

"If you wish to go, I can accompany you," The One said enthusiastically. "Since my birth, I've always stayed in this universe. I'd like to see what else is out there."

Primus also expressed his desire to join them; he had seen and known much about his own universe over the ages, and it was only right that he get to enjoy a vacation in another one after such a battle.

The Emperor considered the proposal. The Imperium currently needed enough time to consolidate its gains, and with The One and Primus coming along, traversing spacetime would be both safer and more convenient.

After weighing his options, he found it was the only win-win scenario, so he agreed.

Once they reached a consensus, Raven immediately opened a spacetime channel, and they embarked on a journey to the unknown universe.

Their journey was smooth, without any incident. Soon, they entered the universe and landed on a living desert planet.

The will of the universe immediately restricted their power and altered their physiques to prevent irreversible damage to the local reality.

Raven still looked like Raven.

The Emperor and Valdor, as in their previous travels, lost their armor and weapons upon entry. They became strong, ordinary humans with psychic powers.

The One transformed into a humanoid robot.

Primus became a floating metal sphere, roughly human-height.

"This place gives me a suffocating feeling," Primus said, clearly uncomfortable. "An omnipresent force is pressing down on me."

This was his first time traveling to another universe. Unlike his own territory, where he was like a fish in water, the laws of this universe suppressed him, reducing his power to less than one-tenth of its original strength.

"Adapt to it," the Emperor advised, his tone measured and experienced. "Don't resist forcefully, or you'll cause trouble."

If Primus tried to restore his original form and power by force, it would be an act of defiance against the entire universe and attract the attention of the universe's guardians, potentially triggering a cross-dimensional war.

"This universe should be the Star Wars Universe," Raven said, reading the universe's information the moment he arrived. "The planet we're on is Tatooine, and multiple races inhabit it. There's also a key figure of destiny here—'Anakin'. If we can change his predetermined fate, the universe's will may relax its restrictions on us."

The Emperor and his companions walked toward the town in the distance.

At that moment, a starship descended slowly from the sky, landing in the desert outside the settlement.

Raven glanced up at the vessel. "The people in that starship carry the aura of destiny. They're important figures in this universe."

"Do we need to change their destiny?" Primus asked. It was his first time traversing universes, and his power and authority were severely suppressed.

Unlike in the Transformers Universe, where he wielded infinite power, here he couldn't even perceive the threads of destiny and karma. In the Star Wars Universe, he was just another individual with considerable power.

After all, he wasn't the controller of this universe and held no relevant authority here.

Raven, however, was unique. He was like someone with a master key, able to access the permissions of any universe.

"No need to be too deliberate," Raven said, shaking his head. "The method of changing destiny must be subtle, or the universe's will may reject us."

"This world is quite marvelous," The One observed. "I sense a peculiar power, intertwined yet opposing."

"Every universe has its own characteristics," Raven explained. "To gain recognition, you either wage war or learn to respect them. This universe, or should I say this Galaxy, contains the Force. What you're sensing is the Light Side and the Dark Side; they originate from the same source but have distinctly different characteristics. The beings of this world utilize both."

"Can we master this power?" Primus asked, his curiosity evident.

Raven nodded. "Of course. The myriad worlds are endlessly mysterious, yet they share fundamental characteristics."

The One and Primus peppered Raven with questions, learning about the taboos and knowledge required for traversing other universes.

The Emperor and Valdor remained silent throughout. They had traversed many times, sci-fi universes, fantasy universes, even cultivation universes. They were already well-versed in the art of dimensional travel.

Naturally, they wouldn't behave like The One and Primus, who resembled curious children asking questions at every turn.

Still, they understood. Without experience, knowledge was limited.

While answering questions for The One and Primus, Raven led the group to Anakin's junk shop.

Anakin Skywalker was a slave child on the planet Tatooine.

No one knew who his father was; his mother, Shmi, had been a virgin when she became pregnant. In his previous life, many have agreed it was the will of the Force itself.

At the age of three, he and his mother were lost by their original owner, Gardulla the Hutt, in a podracing bet to the greedy junk dealer Watto. Since then, mother and son had been Watto's property.

While working for Watto, Anakin learned valuable mechanical skills through natural talent and an almost supernatural intuition.

He even gained a reputation in Mos Espa for being able to "fix anything." At nine years old, he'd built a functional protocol droid, C-3PO, to help his mother with chores.

In short, he was a genuine prodigy.

Watto was a Toydarian, short and stout, with wings and blue skin. His species was famously immune to Jedi mind tricks, which made him cocky when dealing with Force-users.

When the Emperor and the others arrived at the entrance of the junk shop, Watto fluttered up to them with a fawning smile.

"What can I do for you, sirs?"

Raven scanned the shop and spotted a dirt-faced child and a woman tidying up clutter. It was the mother and son they were looking for, Anakin, an important node of destiny in this universe.

"We want this pair of mother and son," Raven said, pointing at Anakin with his wing.

Watto's face registered surprise, but he quickly composed himself.
