Chapter 79: Tzeentch: I've Discovered Your Secret

The Emperor of Mankind absorbed the data clusters floating before him. Each one contained entire universes, their histories, laws, and futures flowing through his consciousness.

He weighed each reality against his needs. The Primarchs required education, not annihilation. Too much power would break their minds. Too little would prove worthless.

The Taoist and Saint Ruins Universes blazed with overwhelming power. The Emperor dismissed them immediately.

Realities where mortals could reshape existence itself, no. He would not subject his sons to such defeat before they understood their own nature.

The Xiling, Cthulhu, and Foundation Universes presented different challenges. They were another beast.

Each harboured entities that existed beyond singular reality. The Xiling Universe particularly concerned him; its civilisations had mastered technologies that made even his achievements seem primitive.

Should conflict arise with such powers, the results would cascade across the entire multiverse. One miscalculation might face the Imperium with a war spanning whole planes of existence.

The Cthulu universe was a part of the greater multiverse. The entities that didn't reside in it created and played with it. In fact, they were even more dangerous than his known enemies of Warp.

After analysis, two candidates remained.

"Marvel Universe?" The Emperor examined the first reality.

"DC Universe?" The second pulsed with similar energies.

Both realities shared comprehensive chaos. Their material planes swarmed with enhanced beings, alien invaders, and cosmic threats. Their immaterial realms crawled with demons and horrors.

More importantly, neither universe would suppress Primarch abilities. The Raven's reconnaissance suggested they could enter with full capabilities intact.

"The Marvel Universe shall serve our purposes."

The Raven materialised beside him. "Marvel Universe? That one's quite popular among mortals of other universes, isn't it?"

His corvid features twisted into a grin. "Avengers: Emperor's Era, now that's a title with a certain ring to it."

The Raven's thoughts danced with possibilities, that purple-skinned titan who fancied himself a farmer, Thanos.

Perhaps he could be convinced to cultivate something more productive than mad philosophy. Potatoes grown in soil fertilised with Infinity Stone residue might prove interesting.

"Indeed." The Emperor's approval carried weight. "Beyond the Primarchs' education, we may discover technologies of value to the Imperium."

The Marvel reality was marked by scientific achievements, including arc reactor technology, vibranium metallurgy, Pym particles, and Stark Industries' fusion cores.

If even a fraction could be adapted to Imperial use, humanity's dominion would become unassailable.

In the void between realities, two Primarchs continued their combat.

Leman Russ fought with primal fury. Each blow could shatter continents. Across from him, Angron matched him strike for strike, his rage given form through spatial manipulation.

They had been fighting for twenty-seven hours.

Russ launched himself forward, void-frost gathering around his fists as he drove a haymaker toward his brother's jaw. The punch carried enough force to crack asteroids.

Angron crossed his arms, psychic energy forming a barrier. The shield held for 0.3 seconds before shattering. The Wolf King's fist connected.

The impact sent Angron through three asteroid clusters before he arrested his momentum against a planetoid. The crater could have housed a hive city.

The Red Angel reached across impossible distances, psychic talons seizing Russ by the ankle. With a roar, Angron spun his brother seventeen times before hurling him into another asteroid field.

Throughout the Imperium, billions watched through pict-feeds. The Primarchs were no longer merely superhuman warriors; they had become forces of nature.

When exhaustion claimed them both, they floated in crystalline debris. The duel had proven they were equals in power as much as blood.

"You will glimpse a fragment of ultimate truth."

The Emperor's words echoed through the assembled Primarchs in the palace's highest spire. Twenty demigods arranged in formation.

The Raven spread its wings, its form dissolving into energy. Beams of darkness and starlight wove together as the spacetime tunnel took shape.

The portal yawned before them, showing a swirling vortex of potential destinies.

"Follow us." The Emperor stepped forward, his radiance swallowed by the tunnel's depths.

One by one, the Primarchs obeyed.

The Crystal Labyrinth erupted in fury.

In the deepest reaches of the Warp, a colossal phantom burst forth from its prison. Tzeentch had observed the Imperium's transformation with alarm. Humanity was ascending beyond Chaos itself, and that could not be permitted.

The variables he had manipulated for millennia now moved according to alien mathematics. The Raven's influence was reshaping the fundamental equations of existence.

The phantom fragment tore through subspace, its essence condensed into a form that could survive multiversal transit: a blue-skinned humanoid with twin avian heads, clutching a staff of starlight.

The Raven maintained vigilance during multiversal crossings. Each transition required perfect balance to avoid dimensional feedback.

As they materialised within the Marvel Universe, a vast consciousness turned its attention toward them, ancient and displeased.

The One-Above-All had detected an intrusion carrying the stench of Chaos corruption.

The Raven's feathers rustled as he sensed the pursuing fragment. Tzeentch's spy had penetrated his camouflage.

The fragment's presence triggered defensive protocols. Reality convulsed as the One-Above-All's will manifested as pure force, colliding with the Tzeentchian fragment in an explosion across seventeen dimensions.

The spacetime tunnel buckled, its structure threatening to collapse.

"Big Guy." The Raven's voice carried dry amusement.

"Intervention required?" the Emperor asked.

"No, just wanted to inform you we're experiencing turbulence. Please ensure your gene-sons are in the upright position."

The Emperor's mental sigh was audible. "Must you maintain that tone at such moments?"

"It's part of my charm."

"Focus, you insufferable corvid."

The Raven spread his wings, vast, dark energies wrapping around the tunnel. The tunnel held. Barely.

They emerged into the Marvel reality, but the violent transition had scattered them across space and time. Instead of a controlled arrival, they found themselves deposited amid chaos.

Wakanda

On the plains before the kingdom's barriers, two armies clashed. The Avengers fought desperately against Thanos and his Outrider legions.

War Machine's repulsors carved through alien ranks. Captain America's shield deflected mountain-levelling energies. Thor's lightning split the sky as Stormbreaker carved through enemies.

But they were losing. Even Earth's Mightiest Heroes could not stand against the Mad Titan's power.

Then the sky cracked open.

A meteorite blazed across the battlefield, its trajectory too perfect to be natural. The impact shook the earth, throwing combatants into the air as a crater opened in the battlefield's centre.

Dust clouded the air. Both armies approached cautiously, weapons raised.

As the dust settled, they beheld a figure that defied comprehension.

A giant in azure ceramite armour lay motionless in the crater's heart, his massive frame twice the height of any human present.

The armour was a masterwork that made Stark's suits seem primitive, protective plating that gleamed with inner light, power conduits pulsing with energy.

"What the fuk was that?" Rhodes's voice crackled through the comm system.

Both armies held their breath.

Then the giant's eyes opened, burning with light that had witnessed the birth of stars.

The Infinity War was about to take a different turn.
