Chapter 62 - CHAPTER 62-“The Shattered Ruins of Eclipsion”

Wind howled across the strange, silver-blue sands of Eucliosis Island, carrying with it the unsettling whisper of ancient mana. The sky overhead was clear, but the air felt heavy—dense—almost watchful.

The moment the enemy squad appeared, the world shifted into chaos.

---

The Battle Erupts

Show didn't wait for formal introductions. The moment he sensed hostile intent, he dashed forward like a burning comet.

"Horzest is mine—"

A burst of radiant light cut in front of him.

"Move. I sensed him first," Raelyn said sharply, blocking Show's path with a glowing barrier.

"Like hell! I called dibs!"

Before they could erupt into their usual competitive argument, the first volley of danger arrived.

SHRRR-KA-KA-KAM!

Dozens of razor-thin spiritual arrows burst through the air—shimmering with eerie green runes. They were fired by Quillios, the Spirit Archer of Team Horoxium.

Criss stepped forward instantly.

"Stone Guard—REINFORCE!"

A wall of hardened rock rose up at an angle, catching the barrage and scattering fragments across the sand.

Criss smirked.

"You'll need more than arrows, feather-boy."

But Quillios only grinned.

The Squad Splits Into Battles

1. Cyrus, Akito, and Ryan

Ryan, coated in metallic sheen, lunged forward, both hands turning into massive steel blades.

"Metal Ripper!"

Akito flicked his wrist, cards spinning like a shield.

"Card Barrier: Diamond Fold!"

The metal clanged against the conjured cards, sparks exploding. Cyrus slid into position behind Akito, charging raw power into his fists.

"Good distraction. My turn!"

He slammed his fist into Ryan's chest, wirh a powerful punch of boosted mana, lightning-crack echoes ringing across the ruins.

Ryan barely flinched.

"That tickled."

And then he countered, turning his entire arm into a rotating drill.

Akito screamed: "DUCK!"

Cyrus barely saved himself

Ryan smirked and said " let me tell you that my steel is no ordinary steel.. try to get through it boys !!"

Cyrus and Akito grinned .

2. Hibiki & Presto vs. Arzip

Arzip stretched both hands outward, rock pillars swirling, splitting, and reforming around him.

"Stone Conjuring: Rift Spikes!"

Spears of jagged stone thrust from the earth.

Hibiki jumped back, wind swirling under his feet, hair fluttering wildly.

"Okay who the hell is this discount mountain man?!"

Presto generated a storm of small electric orbs around them.

"Shut up and move! Thunder Burst!"

The orbs detonated one after another, blowing the stone spikes apart as Hibiki blasted forward with slicing winds.

Arzip cracked his knuckles.

"You two are going to be the most annoying ones, aren't you?"

---

3. Drake & Lyra vs. Corvella

Corvella's presence alone was unsettling—her silver eyes glowing, fingers twitching like she was plucking invisible strings.

Mesmerized Magic.

"Sleep, little flowers…"

An invisible wave shot toward them.

Lyra immediately pushed her palms out.

"Bloom Guard!"

Petals exploded around her, forming a spinning barrier.

Drake stomped on the ground, summoning frost that spread forward like a spreading winter sea.

"Ice Fang Cannon!"

The icy blast surged through the petal shield toward Corvella—

—but she waved a hand, and the ice splintered mid-air.

"Charming. Try again."

---

4. Teach, Lily, Lina, and Karen vs. Deksin

Deksin's enchantments twisted the air itself—dark runes swirling around him.

" What a shame for me ... just 3 girls and a nerd for me.. it will be my breakfast "

He signed

"Enchant Spell: Cursed Reversal!"

The ground snapped upward, flipping their footing.

Lina instantly cast healing mist to stabilize everyone.

Lily shouted:

"Karen! Boost me!"

Karen, annoyed and terrified, raised both palms.

"Attract Aura—Amplify!"

Her pinkish aura surged into Lily, who immediately conjured a giant flower hammer.

"SMACK HIM!"

POW!!

Deksin flew back into a pillar, coughing dust.

"You crazy girls… you'll pay for that—hrkk—"

---

Show and Raelyn's Argument (Again)

While the entire battlefield exploded into chaos…

Show and Raelyn were STILL arguing.

"Let me fight Horzest! You fought Seraph last time!"

"And YOU fought Byron before that!" Raelyn shot back.

"Barely! But I didn't finished him. He ran away!"

"Not my fault you take too long to warm up."

Show's eye glared at him .

Raelyn Grinned on him.

Horzest sighed, rubbing his temples.

"Should I… just sit with a popcorn now?"

The two boys ignored him completely.

The ground shook from the power of their bickering alone.

---

Horzest Loses Patience

Finally, Horzest SLAMMED his palm into the ground.

BOOOOM!!

The earth cracked like a broken puzzle.

Everyone stopped mid-fight.

Quillios looked around, startled.

"Oh no… he's triggered it!"

Teach blinked.

"Triggered what—?"

A deep hum vibrated from below.

Strange runes lit up in a perfect circle under all of them.

Raelyn's eyes widened.

"This magic… it's ancient. It's ALIVE."

Show swallowed.

"Uh oh."

---

The Ruins Respond

FLASH—!!!

A colossal light exploded upward from the ground, consuming the entire battlefield.

When their vision slowly returned…

They found themselves scattered across massive floating platforms made of stone, suspended inside a giant hollow dome. The sky overhead was swirling with pale violet clouds, and the air tasted metallic.

Quillios exhaled in awe.

"The Eclipsion Ruins… it sensed a threat. It has trapped us inside its inner chambers."

Before Criss could get anything he attacked him with " Quill of One hitter "

But it was destroyed mid air

By... Raelyn

He also joined the battle but in a angry mood

He said " Listen you Mr. Archer boy, your boss escaped but you will not."

Drake looked around.

"Where the hell are we?!"

He saw walls and Lyra and Corvella

On the other side

Hibiki pointed downward to Presto

"Bruh… we're basically on someone's giant floating roof."

Azip smirked.

"An arena born from ancient power. Perfect."

But then another question struck the group.

"Where is Show?"

"…and Horzest?"

---

Inside the Core Dome

Far away from the others, deep within the thickest part of the ruins, a second dome had formed—much smaller but completely sealed.

Inside it:

A wide circular platform floating over an abyss of purple fog.

Show stood on one side.

Horzest stood on the other.

Only them.

Show cracked his knuckles.

Horzest grinned.

"Well… looks like the ruins decided for us."

Show returned the grin with a spark in his eye.

"Good. Now I don't have to fight Raelyn to fight you."

Horzest's aura expanded—black and bestial.

"I've been waiting to test your flame, kid."

Show's flame kindled faintly around his arms—only base form, but already fierce.

The dome around them hummed, glowing brighter, as if anticipating the clash.

Two figures.

Two auras.

Two destinies.

Facing each other in an arena older than history itself.
