Chapter 38 - Chapter 38: Fire Rising

The void was endless—white flames dancing in every direction, echoing silence all around.

Show slowly opened his eyes, standing alone in a realm he couldn't recognize. The air was thick with fire… but it didn't burn. It welcomed him.

In the distance, two towering flaming figures stood—blurry, but radiating immense power. And behind them… was a third, much larger, figure. Its shape was still obscured in the white flames, but Show could feel it watching him. Judging him.

Suddenly, flames swirled around him like a vortex, and a deep, ancient voice echoed in his mind:

> "You were never forsaken, only hidden… forged in mystery, born of fire."

"The chains of your past cannot hold the blaze of your destiny."

"Awaken, bearer of the Infernal Spark… ignite what the world fears most—truth."

Show clutched his chest—his pendant burned hot—and his eyes widened with realization.

Back in the Chamber…

Byron waited, wary, as the dust slowly settled.

The crystal—shattered. Its red glow gone.

Everything around it? Scorched, warped, destroyed.

Suddenly, a silhouette emerged from the smoke—head low, arms trailing with embers, and his cloak flowing in the heat like fire.

Show stood there, transformed.

His body was wrapped in blazing red-orange armor of flame, his aura pulsed with bright crimson glints, and his eyes gleamed with a fierce inner light.

🔥 Fire Rising Mode: Unlocked. 🔥

Byron stepped back, stunned.

> "So... this is the power Dark Order predicted," he muttered. "Magnificent."

Show looked up slowly. His voice was calm but sharp as steel.

> "You wanted my power? Be careful what you ask for."

🔥 Battle: Show vs Byron Begins

Byron hurled black steel lances from his palms. Show sidestepped them with flame-enhanced agility, vanishing mid-run and reappearing behind him.

> "You're not faster than me!" Byron growled, swinging his black axe horizontally.

Show caught the axe with a flaming gauntlet, and with one fiery roar, he blasted Byron backward into the chamber wall.

Byron regained footing and summoned a black steel dragon from beneath, its wings slicing the air.

Show smiled slightly and whispered:

> "Spiral Blaze: Crimson Nova."

A swirling vortex of fire enveloped the dragon and vaporized it on contact, scattering the black metal into molten sparks.

The chamber cracked and quaked.

Byron gritted his teeth and charged, fists coated with obsidian armor.

Show met him head-on—their punches collided, creating a shockwave that cracked the walls. Sparks, fire, and steel clashed in every direction.

Byron:

> "Why are you even fighting me? You don't even know what you are!"

Show:

> "Maybe not. But I know what I'm not—your pawn!"

He gathered energy in both hands.

> "Crimson Blaze Barrage!!"

A flurry of explosive punches, each carrying heat enough to melt rock, struck Byron with relentless force—until finally, Show fired a devastating uppercut engulfed in flame that launched Byron into a sealed wall behind the chamber—breaking through it.

Meanwhile...

The others, still battling outside, suddenly felt a tremendous shock.

Raelyn turned, eyes wide.

> "That energy… is that… Show?!"

They rushed into the main chamber and halted at the entrance. The heat forced them to shield their eyes.

Drake:

> "What the hell… he's glowing like a phoenix."

Karen:

> "That flame… it's nothing like before…"

Veil, stepping forward calmly, simply said:

> "That's no normal form. He's unlocked something ancient."

Raelyn clenched his fists, silently nodding.

> "So this… is the real Show."

Inside, the chamber crackled with energy as Show walked through the hole he had just blasted Byron into.
