Chapter 42 - chapter no 41

I want to know something..

Are you in real.....

Or it is my imagination.....

If you are in reality....

I want to say something to you.

I want you to live besides me...

I want to feel you ...

By touching your face...

I want you to feel cool breeze of morning with me...

I want you to think about me....

If you are in my imagination...

Than can I meet you in this real world.....

I want you to talk with me....

Even if you are available in my dreams.....

I want you to live besides me...

"Amy! It's really you! Where were you all the time?" The person who was almost her age, exclaimed, beaming brightly. His eyes were glowing with happiness. He was dressed as a careless young lad-blue jacket with white high neck, messy hair, white jeans with black sneakers.

"Excuse me, I already told you and I'm sure you have read my documents thoroughly. I'm Nimra not Amy or Iman, whatever you're calling me." She was irritated at his excitement. She didn't even know him and he was being all friendly and elated. She was having a weird feeling at his reaction.

"It's me. Don't you remember us? I'm Safi, your cousin, your brother and crime partner. Oh Allah! Khanu bhai!see how she's being all ignorant? She's Amy, How could she behave like someone else?" He got up from his chair and calling that man tried to convince him.

"Safi! She's here for the interview. Don't tease her." The male ordered.

"But..", he tried to say something but he stopped him with a loud voice.

"Don't you get what I said in once? Or should I report it to your father? If she's saying she's not then she's not." He warned.

He looked at him wide eyed not believing what he was saying.

"I'm sorry Safi but..." Hisham tried to say but he stopped him raising both hands and squinted shut his eyes. Then released a sigh with his eyes on the picture placed on the table.

"Okay! I'm the one always wrong. But Hisham bhai, I can't be wrong about her. I spent the most of time with her. I know her like the back of my hand." He almost whispered as he was badly hurt. He stopped by her and gave her small smile, then he walked out. Her heartbeat accelerated at his words and expressions and her cheeks flushed but she hid it by lowering her head. She heard the door closed behind him.

"I'm sorry for the trouble. Should we get started? Why do you need a job." Hisham continued. She lifted up her face at his questions. His expressions were tightened but he looked disturbed deep down. He was great in hiding his emotions from others. She didn't know how she was able to read him easily as it was a habit and she was doing it subconsciously, without even realizing it.

Although she was still confused about the situation that occurred a while ago but she was relaxed. She answered all of his questions calmly.

"I'd like to say sorry for the behavior of my brother. We lost someone precious to us a few years ago and you could see she was same as you. So he got a bit confused. I apologize." When she was about to leave he considered it to clear up and spoke gesturing toward the picture on the table.

"It's okay, can I have a look at it?" She smiled politely and asking him for permission, she rose up form her chair. He nodded his head, saying 'sure' and grabbed the picture holding it to her. She looked at it as she searched for something but upon not finding that, she put it back on the table.

"Indeed we look same. I hope you could come over the grief of losing her." She was surprised at too much similarity but the girl in the picture didn't have that mark on her chin she had. So it was not her. His father told her that she had it since they found her.

"Thank you." He said with stern expressions.

She stayed silent for a minute then approached the glass door and turned the door knob to open it when that person suddenly asked.

"But can I ask you some personal questions? If you don't mind!" She turned to face him and nodded after giving some thought.

"Are.... they your real parents? I'm sorry but..."

"Yes, they are." She answered immediately. She can visibly see it when his tensed muscles limped as he was disheartened at her answer.

"Anything else?" She asked at the long pause.

"No,nothing. That's all. Thank you. We'll inform you about the results through an email." She bowed lightly at him and left him alone in his office.

That boy-named sunny or something like that-was coming back to the office. His eyes were red and puffy as he had cried over something. He passed from her side ignoring her as she never existed. She turned and had a glimpse at his jacket's back who didn't even turned to see her again. She shrugged her shoulders carelessly. Maybe he realized at the end that he was mistaken.

She remembered the words that her father told her a few days ago.

'Never tell anyone about who you really are. Because we don't know if your enemies were your family or someone else. And call from that hospital tells someone suspicious came to the hospital asking about her many times. That means they were still looking for her even after several years.'

She left that building but she was thinking about if she gets selected, should she do that job or not?
