Chapter 88 - Chapter 87 Are you finally not going to hide anymore?

Li Weide was a little surprised by Tom's words.

"Me?

Extreme?"

He turned to Andre and asked, "Do you think I'm extreme?"

Andre forced a smile, then said, "Not at all.

Those goblins are not good people.

The first thing they did when they saw us was to kill us to silence us, and their conspiracy was so evil. Killing them is the real good thing!"

Li Weide nodded with satisfaction.

Andre was right this time. Judging from the system's prompt after killing the three goblins just now, he was doing a good thing!

I wonder how many merit points he would be rewarded for killing the goblins in that camp!

Li Weide said to Tom again, "Tom, I think you're being a little too conservative.

Only by killing those goblins can we be absolutely safe.

And Andre is right, those goblins are not good people."

Tom sighed, "I don't pity those goblins, I just think it's risky.

There are so many goblins...

Let's not even talk about attacking them.

Will we get hurt or even killed?

What if a few escape... that would cause endless trouble."

Li Weide suddenly realized, "So you don't pity them.

So, what you mean is..."

"If you don't take action, it's fine.

But if you do, you must eliminate them completely!"

Tom's face was filled with ruthlessness.

Andre, watching the two men from the side, couldn't help but shudder again.

These two, though young, were each more ruthless than the other...

"Tom, I knew it! I knew you weren't a good person!"

"You said I was a good person before... Never mind, now you're the more powerful, so of course if you say I'm good, then I'm good, and if you say I'm bad, then I'm bad..."

  Of course,

Levid didn't really intend to search for this "remnant" of ancient magic.

He knew the source and nature of this power, and he also knew the ultimate destination of his investigation.

In fact, if Levid wanted to, he could create as many of these things as Morgana had.

He let Tom and Andre know about this power because he wanted to exploit it!

If Levid wanted to become a system-certified Dark Lord, he needed more than just a compelling slogan!

He needed tangible benefits!

Benefits that would attract the majority!

What were these benefits?

Levid had no idea, but now he had one.

He could have as much of this "magical power" that made people stronger as he wanted!

By then, his followers would undoubtedly be no less than Grindelwald or even the future Voldemort.

And their strength would be the strongest!

He had already assembled a team, so how could the system not deem him the Dark Lord?

Taking advantage of this goblin incident, Levitra planned to use these "remnants" to first develop a trustworthy team within Hogwarts.

It's fair to say that these goblins had arrived at the right time...otherwise, he wouldn't have thought of using these remnants to make a fuss.

Mr. Ogg was right about one thing: this route was indeed very safe.

If they hadn't deviated from the route, Levitra and his companions wouldn't have encountered the goblins.

Therefore, the rest of the journey was smooth sailing.

Soon, they reached their destination.

Mr. Ogg had been waiting there for a long time.

"What took so long?"

Mr. Ogg asked unhappily.

"Any later, and I'd have gone looking for you!"

Andre stepped forward and said, "We didn't dare walk too fast... so we walked slowly the whole way."

"Okay... let's be more efficient next time.

" Mr. Ogg, not suspecting anything, led them out of the Forbidden Forest and back to the castle.

Back in the common room, even Levid felt a hint of fatigue.

Without saying anything, they all returned to their dormitories.

Alphard, upon seeing them return, poked his head out of bed.

"You're back! Did you run into any danger?

I heard the Forbidden Forest is incredibly dangerous!"

Levid pulled a chair over and sat down beside his bed.

"It's not as scary as you might have imagined."

Henry, who hadn't fallen asleep either, also spoke from his bed.

"The Forbidden Forest isn't that dangerous, actually. You don't know.

My dad told me those Gryffindor guys often sneak into it to play...

If it were that dangerous, do you think they'd ever come back?"

Tom simply lay down on his bed, silent.

The events of the night were so shocking that he couldn't quite recover.

Especially when Levid struck...

He realized that catching up to Levid would require far more effort than he'd imagined!

Levid's spells, the likes of which he'd never even heard of, and the powerful Transfiguration that could obliterate corpses...

The more Tom thought about it, the more frustrated he felt.

The thought only deepened Tom's need for those "magical powers."

"That's certainly an exaggeration..." Levid placed Nagini, coiled around his wrist, back into her nest at the head of the bed.

"I can say I've come back with a bang."

"What did you find in the Forbidden Forest?"

Henry asked quickly.

"We found several fang geraniums, traces of a unicorn, and a lot of its fallen hair!"

Levid vividly recounted his findings to his roommate.

Of course, Levid didn't mention the goblin part; now wasn't the time to discuss that.

As Alphard and Henry admired him, Levander tentatively called out into the air, "Toby, are you there?"

"Yes! Master Wade!"

Toby appeared directly in front of Levander and said respectfully, "As you instructed, Toby is waiting here for Master Wade!"

Henry and Alphard were startled by the sudden appearance of a house-elf.

Tom sat up in bed.

"When did you call Toby?"

"Before I went into detention, I sent him a letter asking him to wait here," Levander said casually.

Tom asked, "What do you want him to do?"

Livid picked up the bag and waved it at Tom.

"We have to sell the materials inside, right?"

Then he handed the bag to Toby.

"Go, do as I instructed."

"Yes! Master Livid!"

Toby took Livid's bag with a solemn expression and vanished into thin air.

Even though Toby's previous master had lived in poverty, he was still a Dark wizard.

So, Toby often helped his master sell things...

Therefore, asking Toby to help sell Livid's materials was perfectly feasible.

Although the wizards who owned shops looked down on house-elves, they still took elves with goods to sell seriously.

This was because they often had pure-blood families behind them.

After all, not every wizarding family had house-elves.

So, even if they looked down on house-elves, they dared not neglect them for fear of offending the pure-blood families behind them.

Henry sighed and said, "I knew your family was something special, Wade.

We even have house elves...

We used to have one, but she died of old age."

Levander simply smiled and offered no explanation.

It was fine to let them misunderstand him this way.

Just as Levander was chatting with his roommates and getting ready to change and rest, there was a sudden knock on the dormitory door.

"Come in, it's not locked," Levander said.

The door creaked open, and Andre strode in.

Henry and Alphard instantly jumped out of bed, wands in hand, even though they hadn't even managed to cast a levitation spell yet...

"Shafik, what are you doing in our dormitory?" Alphard asked warily.

Andre glanced around the dormitory, his eyes landing on Levander.

"Lee, I'm here to see you."

"Oh? What do you want from me?"

Levander looked at Andre with interest.

Andre looked very nervous, but since they had only been apart for a few minutes, Li Weide had no idea what he was doing there.

"I now have the answer to that question you asked me before!"

Andre said solemnly.

Li Weide had previously asked Andre if he wanted to join him.

Li Weide smiled and asked, "So your answer is..."

Andre took a deep breath and said, "I've decided to join you... and follow you!"

Originally, Andre hadn't intended to join either side, but...after seeing Li Weide's true abilities tonight, his heart had wavered.

Furthermore, after learning about that "magical power" tonight, he was even more tempted!

Andre knew very well that if Li Weide obtained that power, he would never share it with an outsider like him, unless... he decided to truly follow him!

Thinking of that power that could make people stronger, Andre couldn't fall asleep.

The Shafik family really needed to become stronger!

After much deliberation, Andre finally decided to meet Levid, and then... become Levid's follower!

Levid knew Andre was serious when he saw his expression.

However, hadn't he deliberately revealed the information about the "residue" to them just to achieve the effect he was currently experiencing?

"Very good, Andre, I knew you could make the right choice," Levid said with a smile.

Tom wasn't surprised at all.

Knowing that there was a power that could instantly make him stronger, only a fool would not join in and share in the action!

Henry and Alphard, on the other hand, looked at the scene in disbelief.

A senior student... a senior student who had a grudge against Levid before, now came over and said he wanted to follow Levid, a freshman?

"I think I haven't woken up yet," Alphard said in a daze.

Without saying a word, Henry leaned over and pinched Alphard with his hand.

Alphard screamed, "Ouch! It hurts!"

"It seems I'm not dreaming!

But... what exactly happened?"

Henry pondered.

"You want to join us, but who knows if what you said is true?"

Andre said solemnly, "I can swear an unbreakable oath!"

His words immediately silenced Henry and Alphard.

Even Tom couldn't help but glance at him.

With this oath, Andre would never betray Levid again.

"Okay, I accept!"

Levid held out his hand decisively.

"Tom, you be our witness."

An unbreakable oath, reassuring both the self and the other party, was indeed a good idea.

After all, it was Andre's unilateral oath to Levid.

If he betrayed Levid, he would die, and Levid, as the person sworn to, would not have to pay the price.

Andre's face was filled with joy as he left.

Since Li Weide accepted his oath, it meant that Li Weide had implicitly agreed to help the Shafik family in the future!

Thus, Li Weide also had his first follower.

"Tom... this way, we have taken the first step."

"What first step?"

"You should know what I mean, don't you?"

"Haha, you finally don't plan to hide it, Wade?"
