Chapter 81 - Chapter 80: Tom! You don't even want to call me godfather!

In Grindelwald's luxurious office in Nurmengard , Vita placed a book on Grindelwald's desk.

Grindelwald put down his papers and moved the book toward him.

He flipped open the book, only to find it was completely empty.

Except for a small page number in the lower right corner, the rest of the pages were blank.   However, Grindelwald didn't find it strange.

Instead, he flipped the blank book to the designated page and waited quietly.

He glanced at the clock in the office. "Time's up!"

As he spoke, a new line of handwriting slowly began to appear on the blank page of the book on the desk!

A smile crept onto Grindelwald's face.   "Good girl, very punctual!"

Vita's lips curled slightly at the words.

The words on the blank page had completely appeared.

"I've successfully approached Wade and Tom and become their friend.

Also, I've got the notebook."

Grindelwald's mood brightened at these words.

He raised his hand slightly, and a nearby quill automatically floated to the blank page and began writing rapidly.

"Excellent! You've done well! As expected of a Rosier! So, have you looked at that notebook? What's in it?"

The ink had barely touched the blank page when it was sucked away, vanishing without a trace.

Grindelwald then crossed his fingers, resting his chin on the back of his hand, and gazed at the blank page expectantly.

A moment later, writing appeared on the blank page again.

"I've already looked.

The notebook contains nothing but a list of locations.

These locations are mostly scattered around Hogwarts, most of them in the Forbidden Forest..."

Grindelwald frowned.

"Locations... could it be that what those guys said is true?"

The writing continued to appear on the page.   "Last night, I used my invisibility cloak to explore the three locations closest to Hogwarts.

All three are the ruins of some kind of building. I can't tell what they once were. However, the abandoned structures in these three locations must be very old..."

A hint of disappointment crossed Grindelwald's face.

"Nothing... just ruins?"

The words appeared on the blank page again.

"I'll continue exploring other locations.

I'll contact you as soon as I find anything."

Grindelwald's quill wrote on the page:

"Okay, stay safe... By the way, have you found anything interesting about Wade and Tom?"

The blank page fell silent for a moment before words appeared again.

"Speaking of which, I do have a discovery. It's about Wade.

He seems to be from a pure-blood wizard family named Li in the East, but he's very secretive about his past."

"He revealed this information in a fit of anger after being mistaken for a Muggle-born and verbally insulted."

"Given his unique temperament, I personally think this is very likely. Of course, there's no definitive evidence to prove this information at this time."

Grindelwald finished reading, a look of astonishment on his face.

He had his own theories about Wade's origins.

An eleven-year-old wizard, before even starting school, was already able to handle so many of his elite wizarding followers, even taking down several of them.

Without some background and background, how could he have accomplished this?   "And..." the words continued to appear on the blank page.

"The night I took the notebook, I saw them sneak into the library.

I had just received the notebook and was hesitant to follow them."

Grindelwald frowned at this.

"The library?

Did they also go to the restricted section to get the notebook?

What a pity! If only Annie could have followed them."

Vita asked doubtfully, "Do those two children know about the notebook?"

"Well... Actually, the notebook is closely related to those two children.

I can sense it's one of them!"

Grindelwald stood up, looking a little impatient.

"I think it's more likely to be Wade, but... it's hard to say."

Grindelwald stood by the window, gazing at the snow-capped mountains outside.

His tone was a little low. "We must find out quickly.

Only then can we... our time is very short... very short..."   Vita was filled with doubts, but since Grindelwald was constantly teasing the Riddler and refusing to speak directly, even she couldn't ask too many questions.

"Annie, you don't look like you've had enough rest?"

In the morning, when Li Weide and Tom were preparing to go to class with their textbooks, they met Annie in the common room.

"Well... maybe it's because of the bottle of invigorating potion yesterday. I may have drunk too much and had insomnia at night."

Annie said a little unnaturally.

Li Weide and Tom looked at each other. They both knew the real reason for her "insomnia".

Tom said: "Weide still has some water of life and death.

If you need it, you may want to get a bottle.

Each bottle only costs 3 gold galleons.

However, you have to pay attention to the dosage this time.

If you take too much of the water of life and death, you will not be able to wake up."

"Huh?

Aren't you not very fond of Weide's potions?

Why did you take the initiative to help him sell it today?"

Annie asked in surprise.

Tom said with a straight face, "Because I just found out last night that the money this guy used to buy the ingredients was mine, so... yes, I also get a share of his potions.

This is also for maximizing profits!"

Li Weide smiled and said, "There's no need to be so angry, Tom.

Your money is just dead money lying in Gringotts.

It's better to take it out and let me make money..."

"It's fine to have it piled up in Gringotts.

" Tom said unhappily, "Besides, what I mind is that you used my money without telling me!"

"Ahem...

I don't need the Water of Life and Death for now."

Annie had no intention of buying the Water of Life and Death.

She still had to go out and explore those places at night.

How could she possibly drink the Water of Life and Death to sleep?

"But... the relationship between you two is better than I thought.

Wade can actually open your vault and use your money at will?"

Annie's eyes became a "Ahem, I think you misunderstood.

He just temporarily deposited the money with me.

Gringotts' vaults are not cheap.

It would be much more cost-effective to open only one."

Levid explained.

"Really?"

Annie looked at the two of them suspiciously.

"Yes, it's that simple.

A very simple and pure friendship." Levid said seriously.

If I don't explain it clearly, God knows how this silly girl will report to Grindelwald?

Just as the three were about to go to the classroom, suddenly, a quarrel was heard in the corner of the common room.

"You dirty fool, you dare to talk back to me?"

A boy with blond hair and a pale face said arrogantly.

Levid recognized this boy. Isn't this Abraxas Malfoy?

"I'm a human being, not a dirty fool!"

Opposite Abraxas, stood a chubby black-haired boy.

At that moment, he was glaring angrily at Abraxas.

Rivendell also remembered him.

He was another new student, a freshman named Charlie Prince.

Rivendell remembered that he had performed exceptionally well in Potions class yesterday, and was one of the few students Professor Slughorn had praised in that class.

"Come on! Even if you're not a fool, I don't think there's anything wrong with using the word 'filthy'.

After all, your father is a filthy Muggle!" Abraxas scoffed.

"How dare you insult my father!?"

Charlie exclaimed angrily.

"What? I'm just telling the truth! With half-filthy Muggle blood, aren't you filthy?"

Abraxas remained as arrogant as ever.

Hearing this, Rivendell couldn't help but glance at Tom.

It seemed Tom hadn't yet discovered his father was a Muggle, otherwise...

Meanwhile, Tom felt an inexplicable irritation, a surge of inexplicable anger rising within him.

He had now confirmed his mother was a wizard, but what about his father?

Tom was incredibly clever.

He'd actually suspected his father of being a Muggle for a long time.

The possibility was at least 80%!

After spending so many days interacting with pure-bloods, Tom was already familiar with their personalities.

They looked down on Muggles from the bottom of their hearts.

And if his mother was from the Gaunt family, she must have been a pure-blood too...

If there were still members of her family, they'd allowed a member of their family to die in such disgrace outside the orphanage.

This meant her mother had probably crossed their line!

For example... having a son with a Muggle man...

Any pure-blood family that espoused pure-blood supremacy would have expelled such a member...

That made perfect sense why his mother had died in such disgrace outside the orphanage.

Charlie was completely enraged.

"I'm dirty? In my opinion, you pure-bloods are the real filth.

A bunch of inbred freaks.

How dare you call others dirty? Ugh! Disgusting!"

Levid gasped at the words.

Whose general was this?

So brave!

Even if this was the truth, it was hard to say it to his face!

This was Slytherin! Most of the people there were pure-blood wizards who believed in the supremacy of pure-bloods.

He had offended so many people with this statement...

Was he planning to quit Hogwarts?

Sure enough, as soon as Charlie finished speaking, the pure-blood wizards who had been watching the show suddenly surrounded him.

"Boy!

You'd better apologize for what you just said!" a pure-blood student said coldly.

"Apologize?" Charlie sneered.

"I was just telling the truth!"

"You bastard! You're courting death!"

"What?

You're the only ones allowed to insult my family? Now I'm saying this to you, and you can't stand it?" Charlie sneered.

Levitra patted Tom on the shoulder and smiled, "This guy has such a strong personality, I like him!"

"It's a pity that this guy with such a strong personality may never be able to stay in Slytherin from now on," Tom said coldly.

Although he too felt uncomfortable with Abraxas's words, rashly speaking like that would be like declaring war on all of Slytherin's pure-blood wizards!

Tom believed that this fellow named Charlie Prince might not even survive the night...

Those pure-bloods possessed a multitude of dark magic that could render life a living hell!

"Hmm... hm? Tom, where are you going? You're not going to save him, are you?" Levid looked at Tom in surprise.

"Yes. We've already offended those pure-bloods, so what's the harm in offending them again?"

Tom said with disdain.

"Oh my god... Tom has become a good guy!"

Levid exclaimed.

"I'm not a good guy, but didn't you say before?

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

We should reduce our enemies and increase our friends... And right now, we have too few friends in Slytherin and too many enemies."

"Oh, how touching!

You actually remembered what I told you... and understood it so well," Levid said with a look of relief.

Tom said with a straight face, "Am I someone with Alzheimer's?"

"Ahem, that's not what I meant.

I just wanted to ask, can you handle so many people?"

"They're just a bunch of losers.

It's not like I haven't fought them before."

Tom scoffed at the fighting ability of these purebloods.

Li Wei De said, "But there are quite a few senior students on the other side.

Don't forget how badly they messed you up before."

Tom paused.

"If I can't beat them, don't I still have you? When you saved me last time, didn't you scare them off easily?

I feel like even if everyone here came together, they wouldn't be able to beat you...

Besides, you won't just sit there and watch me get beaten to death, right?"

"Oh... so you know I saved you... but... you don't even want to call me godfather!"

Tom was furious.

"What did you say?

You bastard!"

I'm still hesitating whether to be your friend, and you're already thinking about how to be my father?

"What's wrong?

Am I not good enough to you?

But you, this unfilial son, are still thinking about how to plot against me every day.

It really breaks the heart of this old father."

  "You..."

If Tom hadn't known that he couldn't beat this bastard, he would have rushed up to fight him to the death.

"If you guys keep arguing, that guy might really be beaten to death."

Anne said.

"And... you just said that you had a fight with them... The 180 points deducted, it doesn't have anything to do with you, right?"

"We were just defending ourselves."

Tom said seriously, and strode over there...

Anne was surprised.

This was very important information concerning the combat effectiveness of these two people!

She was already thinking about how to report it to Mr. Grindelwald.

Levid sighed and followed.

"Are you going too?"

"Of course I'm going.

If I don't go, I'm afraid that this unfilial son of mine will be beaten to death..."
