Auxiliary Chapter 1: The Last Day

Treviour Bell University — Soil Continent, Meridia (Earth)

Professor Sir Meko stood at the podium, his voice echoing across the marble hall.

"Students, you've all done excellent work. Today marks the end of your academic journey. Let us remember what we've learned together.

We live in the Periora Cosmos, within the Vithana Galaxy, part of the Marbelus Solar System, on the planet known as Meridia, or simply 'Earth'. Our planet has six moons and is divided into eight continents:

Xaka — mythical land on the back of the creature Xakapetros Zeno — center of global trade Soil — agricultural heart, rich in food production Damara — hub of virtual reality and digital worlds Mertata — famed for producing winged beings Vistiys — tourist paradise Kiko — sports capital Corvera — cradle of magic and arcane tradition

Each continent is connected via Damara's virtual access portals: Blink, Hackra, Kirea, Vivia, and Jorn."

Sir Meko paused as the students listened intently.

"You all know the elemental magics: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Crystal, Ice, Metal, Dark, Light, Spirit, Time, Space, and the rare Blood Magic. At the pinnacle of mastery lies the ultimate form: Mana Magic.

Alongside theory, you've honed practical skills in swordsmanship, weapon mastery, and marksmanship."

He turned proudly toward the first-ranked student.

"Lucifer Kaito — step forward. You've achieved the highest rank among all academies, including ours. You are 28 years old now, and your brilliance sets you apart."

Lucifer stepped into the light, his voice calm yet determined.

"Thank you, Sir. I'm young, handsome—and ready. My dream begins now: to become the world's top Mythical-Rank Detective."

Sir Meko smiled.

"Then begin your journey."

He faced the rest of the class.

"All of you know the ranking system:

Rookie Elite Epic Legend Mythic

Each level from Rookie to Epic includes up to 3,000 ranks. Legend and Mythic are rare, with only 10 global ranks each.

In this world, your rank defines your job—not a fixed salary. You earn rewards directly from clients based on service, skill, and honor. Rank is pride, not a paycheck.

For example: I am Legend Rank 7. Across Meridia, that earns me great respect and recognition."

The hall fell silent with admiration.

"And today," the professor added, "you gift me your thanks. That is my reward."

The students stood together, ready to give back.
