"I told you, you shouldn't have met me again!" Hector sighed, staring at Violet with lifeless eyes.
"B-But…" Violet tried to say something, but her throat locked up under Hector's cold gaze.
In the end, she just nodded helplessly and shoved something into Hector's hand despite his resistance. With sad eyes, she quickly ran away.
Hector let out a long breath, watching Violet's figure disappear from sight. Then he felt what she had slipped into his palm and gave a bitter smile.
It was a royal capsule.
"She's so stubborn."
He honestly didn't need something that precious, but it could help him at some point in the next stage of the exam.
As his fingers brushed over the royal healing capsule, he felt her silent support, and a wave of emotion stirred inside him.
He hated himself for it.
