"Why don't you dodge all my attacks like before?" Berry asked in a mocking voice.
Tap.
Tap.
Blink.
Footsteps continued to echo, but they weren't steady—they ragged.
The reason was her speed had increased to a point where she was almost impossible to catch.
Her figure blinked repeatedly through the air, followed by a flare of light that pierced Hector's body.
Of course, all her attacks barely killed him; they only cut through Hector's skin and muscle.
It was a shallow wound, yet blood gradually seeped out as if it were something terrible.
"Take it!"
Suddenly, a shout from behind made Hector shiver. He quickly flipped his sword upside down to guard against the unseen strike.
Clang!
Yet, it wasn't over. Another slash swiftly came from a different direction.
"Urgh…"
Berry teleported again and reappeared in front of Hector, about five meters away.
