"Have you finished making the plan?" Berry asked quietly, raising her eyebrows.
For some reason, she had barely taken any action with Hector's group, as if she were certain that none of them could escape, no matter what they attempted.
"I guess so, though," Hector said in a cautious voice, watching Berry's every move. Then, he gestured for the rest of his team to move away.

Berry just shook her head, ignoring what was left of Hector's companions, and asked in an even tone:
"You believe they'll get out of here?"
Hector's expression didn't change at her question. He simply sighed lightly. Just as Tyrone's squad succeeded in fleeing, he replied:
"Yep, I trust them!" Hector nodded firmly.
"Because if I don't trust them, what else can I believe in? If they fail, I'll die, anyway." He gave a slight shrug.
He didn't give Berry a chance to speak—he went on:
"Before this fight began… may I ask you a few things?"
