''Damn it! Is he really killing everyone just for calling him bald?'' Hector gazed at the king with narrowed eyebrows.
Everyone looked at the king with expressions similar to Hector's.
At this moment, the king didn't allow everyone in the arena to think anymore. His cane in his hand instantly lit up with crackling lightning, then its electric glow faded right away.
Silence.
None of the people dared to say anything until a flow of vibration under their feet gradually appeared.
''What happens?'' Hector managed to keep his balance, looking around with specific caution.
From inside the covered wall of the arena, a steel gate opened.
''Graok!''
A too-horrible roar echoed over this gloomy space, making a group of people nearby clutch their ears in high discomfort.
A few seconds passed, and a gigantic lion slowly emerged from the darkness.
It possessed a shape that rivalled a truck; not only that, but it was very muscular. Its long maw snarled dangerously, willing to chew anyone nearby. Yet, it had already been shackled tightly by shabby, old chains; however, he really doubted quality chains.
''So, everything truly begins now!'' Hector uttered quietly while he quickly took the knife from his pocket.
He was ready to fight anytime.
Now, above the high wall, the king smirked, scanning around the arena below, and then he shouted loudly in excitement.
''Start!''
Immediately, the chains on the beast's neck and leg were detached by lightning mana zigzagging around it.
''Grekk!'' The monster roared, then crashed into the crowd nearby the most crazily and uncontrollably.
It seemed as if the beast had been starved for many days, and that thing would make it become such an uncontrolled madness.
A short goblin with a cunning face smirked lightly from a long distance while he ran ahead to avoid the beast, turning his head back towards the beast.
''Hehe! Only fools just crash at it.''
It was easy to understand the goblin's plan. He wouldn't join in fighting because his death might come to him if he fought against the monster; instead, he would wait until the beast was near the dead.
The short goblin grinned crazily while his mind was thinking about countless great futures in the upcoming time.
Yet, only one thing: that one wasn't him.
''I'll be the one…''
Suddenly, the short goblin didn't finish his words yet. The only thing he felt at that moment.
A fleeting pain appeared under his throat, and then, his consciousness almost vanished.
Thud!
He fell to the ground while the culprit stood beside him.
''Don't worry! My skill is good!'' Hector looked at the corpse lying on the ground with ruthless eyes. It was clear that knowledge of the anatomy came into play.
As long as the monster had a structure like that of a human, he could use his own skill from the old world.
With a precise, fast, and fluid movement, he had cut the goblin's throat, needing only a few seconds for the goblin to lose consciousness.
Yet, it was maybe that this goblin was the only one he could kill with this method.
The pungent scent of blood from the corpse's neck was rushing on the ground, permeating the positions around him.
The scent of the blood of monsters was always heavy.
Of course, the other monsters also quickly noticed Hector's lowly action.
A muscular goblin, another, shouted in anger.
''Hey! Fucking human! What did you just do with my partner?''
At this moment, as Hector heard that, he instantly ran to a group of humans near him. In fact, he knew that he was too weak to fight with any of the monsters in this arena, so he needed an ally.
Luckily, humanity always had something like that; it was simply that they were weaker than the monsters. Now, he already possessed a perfect shield.
Soon, the muscular goblin had already realised his timing.
''My brothers! He killed one of our brothers. Fighting in honour!''
That muscular goblin shouted again, but his voice was excited. It was obvious that the monsters only wanted to kill all humans at this place; even if Hector didn't kill that short goblin, it would have happened at any time in this arena.
''What the hell! Look at what he has done!'' A young man shouted in a wave of anger.
Another young man with pale skin also grimaced lightly, but he didn't direct his anger towards Hector; he was only angry with himself.
''No! It'll happen soon! He's just begun it sooner. He's too smart. Certainly, He's gonna satisfy King.''
The young man ground his teeth, but he quickly relaxed, looking at the pale-looking young man.
''Now, what should we do?''
The pale, young man quickly smirked, and he looked at the young man again with disdainful eyes.
''Like this!''
Immediately, he drew and sheathed his sword with incredible speed in about one second.
Silence.
The young man's headless body slowly collapsed onto the ground. The blood from the stump of the neck was flowing like a river.
The pale, young man had looked at the dead body with no emotion; he spat at the young man's head on the ground, disgustingly.
''Make something different like him. Stupid!''
However, he quickly became depressed.
''But it's only a copied method.''
Afterwards, the pale, young man glanced around with probing eyes and quickly ran to the crowd beside him, making what he supposed was right.
Of course, he could even kill his species as long as he could satisfy the king. However, He wouldn't kill overly. If he did that, he could be attacked by all of the humans. The monsters were enough for him.
Not only that, but at the arena, there were a lot of variables that he couldn't control through mad violence.
Many hours later, the arena became a literally chaotic battle.
The monsters killed humans.
The humans killed the monsters.
And then, the beast killed both the monster and the humans.
Many people had already fallen down. Still, it was just the beginning of a massacre.
