Chapter 4 - Episode 4: Chronoscape Collapse

Ben found himself trapped in a vortex of swirling darkness, the voices of countless beings echoing around him. He was no longer in the Null Void Nexus. He was somewhere else. Somewhere… between timelines. He could see flashes of his past, his future, alternate realities where he made different choices, where he became a hero, a villain, a nobody. It was overwhelming, disorienting, driving him to the brink of madness. "The Final Singularity has begun!" The voice boomed, resonating with unimaginable power. Eon Codex. But this wasn't the Eon Codex he had faced before. This was something… more. This was Eon Codex at the heart of his power, at the center of the Chronoscape, the nexus of all timelines.

He looked around, trying to make sense of his surroundings. He was standing on a platform of fractured timelines, surrounded by swirling vortexes of temporal energy. Below him, he could see countless realities collapsing, merging, and being erased from existence. Eon Codex stood before him, his form shifting and changing, embodying the chaos and destruction that he was unleashing upon the multiverse. "You cannot stop me, Ben Tennyson," Eon Codex declared, his voice echoing with the screams of countless victims. "I am the Final Singularity. I am the end of all things."

Ben struggled to focus, to regain control of his thoughts. He was just a kid, a teenager, thrust into a cosmic war beyond his comprehension. He had faced powerful enemies before, but nothing like this. Eon Codex was not just a threat to his universe, but to all universes. He had to find a way to stop him, to save everyone. But how? He was powerless, trapped in a realm beyond his understanding, facing an enemy beyond his capabilities.

He closed his eyes, trying to block out the chaos and the noise. He focused on his friends, his family, his responsibility. He remembered Grandpa Max's words: "With great power comes great responsibility." He had a duty to protect the innocent, to fight for what was right, no matter the cost. He opened his eyes, a new determination burning within him. He may be powerless, but he wasn't helpless. He had his wits, his courage, and his unwavering belief in himself. "I'm not going to let you destroy everything," Ben declared, his voice filled with defiance. "I'm Ben Tennyson, and I'm going to stop you!"

Eon Codex laughed, a cold, mocking sound that sent shivers down Ben's spine. "You are nothing, Ben Tennyson. A mere speck in the face of eternity. You cannot comprehend the power that I wield." He unleashed a wave of temporal energy, striking Ben and sending him flying through the air. Ben crashed into a fractured timeline, the impact shattering the reality around him. He found himself in an alternate version of Bellwood, where everything was… wrong. The sky was red, the buildings were twisted and distorted, and the people were…monsters.

He scrambled to his feet, trying to make sense of what he was seeing. He was surrounded by grotesque creatures, their eyes burning with malice. They lunged at him, their claws extended, their teeth bared. Ben activated the Omnitrix, desperately searching for a transformation that could help him survive. He scrolled through the options, but nothing seemed right. He needed something powerful, something fast, something… different. He settled on Diamondhead, hoping his crystalline armor could withstand the creatures' attacks. He slammed down on the Omnitrix, the familiar green flash engulfing him. But something went wrong. The transformation was corrupted, twisted, and distorted. Instead of Diamondhead, he became… something else.

His body contorted, his skin hardened, and jagged crystals erupted from his flesh. His eyes glowed with an eerie light, and his voice became a distorted growl. He was still Diamondhead, but… different. More powerful, more aggressive, more… unstable. "Ultimate Diamondhead?" he questioned, his voice barely recognizable. The creatures recoiled, sensing the shift in power. Ultimate Diamondhead unleashed a barrage of crystal shards, impaling the creatures and shattering them into dust. He felt a surge of power coursing through his veins, a power that was both exhilarating and terrifying. He was stronger than he had ever been, but he could feel the corruption spreading, consuming him from the inside out.

He knew he couldn't stay in this form for long. The corruption would eventually consume him, turning him into a monster. He had to find a way to escape, to return to the Chronoscape and face Eon Codex. He focused his thoughts, picturing the Chronoscape, visualizing the portal that had brought him here. He channeled his energy, creating a rift in reality, a gateway back to the nexus of timelines. He stepped through the portal, leaving the corrupted Bellwood behind. He reappeared in the Chronoscape, just in time to see Eon Codex unleashing a devastating attack that threatened to unravel the fabric of reality. He knew he had to act fast, before it was too late.

Ultimate Diamondhead launched himself at Eon Codex, his crystalline fists striking with the force of a meteor. Eon Codex staggered, but quickly regained his composure. "You cannot defeat me, Ben Tennyson," he declared. "I am beyond your comprehension." He unleashed a wave of temporal energy, striking Ultimate Diamondhead and sending him crashing into another fractured timeline. Ben felt his mind fracturing as well. The corruption was taking over. But before he could become something else entirely, he reverted back to Ben. He had to think, and fast. He remembered the other Ben's from the Null Void Nexus. The one who absorbed the others power. If he could find him, maybe, just maybe, they could stand a chance.

But how could he find him? He was lost in an ocean of infinite possibilities, a sea of fractured timelines. He closed his eyes, focusing his thoughts, searching for a familiar presence. He felt it. A spark of recognition, a flicker of connection. The Ben who absorbs powers was somewhere nearby. He opened his eyes, a new determination burning within him. He knew what he had to do. He had to find that Ben, and together, they had to stop Eon Codex. But as he took his first step, the ground beneath him began to tremble. The Chronoscape was collapsing, the timelines were fracturing, and Eon Codex was growing stronger. The Final Singularity was upon them. And Ben Tennyson was running out of time. But the real question was, would he become something else entirely?

Suddenly, he was pulled through another portal. He looked around and saw the Ben who was absorbing powers. But something was different. This Ben was floating and had taken on all the powers he had absorbed. "You must help me!" Ben cried. The other Ben laughed and said, "Why would I do that?" Ben was shocked. "Because if you don't all of reality will cease to exist." The other Ben stared and said, "That's the point." And with that Ben knew that not only did he have to stop Eon Codex, he had to stop himself. Or at least, another version of himself. Just as he was about to try and talk some sense into him, Eon Codex appeared and blasted the Ben who was absorbing powers, causing him to lose control. Ben saw his chance and reached out to grab the Omnitrix. "It's hero time," he said, slamming down on the watch.
