"This is impossible, isn't it?!" Kizaru was utterly speechless.

He didn't object to calling for help, but this was a dragon! Hundreds of meters long, the Sky Dragon coiled in the sky, casting the entire Island 8 in shadow.

Ye Chen seized the moment Kizaru was stunned. He leaped onto the nearest tallest tree, then quickly jumped onto Little Sky's head. As he landed on Little Sky's head, Little Sky's dragon claw swept through the air, like a heaven-shading palm, directly reaching for Kizaru.

"Physical attacks are useless against Logia types, has no one told you?" Kizaru asked calmly, unperturbed that Ye Chen had taken advantage of his momentary shock to move.

"Too bad this isn't an ordinary physical attack," Ye Chen's lips curled into a mocking smile.

"What a nuisance! You're already troublesome enough, and now there's this enormous dragon," Kizaru said blandly, his entire body glowing with golden light. Just then, the giant claw struck, aiming a direct blow at Kizaru.

Boom, boom, boom!

A deafening roar erupted. The entirety of Island 8 trembled, the ground continuously cracking and spreading outwards in all directions.

"Who in the world provoked that behemoth?!"

"Is that Dragon Knight Ye Chen trying to destroy Island 8?!"

The people on Island 8, feeling the ground tremor beneath them, cursed loudly. "When gods fight, mortals suffer"—this likely described their current predicament. Witnessing the Sky Dragon's power, pirates, Marines, and bounty hunters alike scrambled to escape Island 8.

Where Little Sky's giant claw had struck, an enormous claw print was etched into the ground. Surrounding trees lay toppled, buildings crumbled, and countless clouds of smoke and dust billowed.

"How terrifying! To think it could even wound me." Suddenly, a languid voice emerged from below. As the smoke and dust cleared, Kizaru's figure materialized. However, his once pristine yellow suit was now somewhat tattered, and a trace of blood stained the corner of his mouth. His previous nonchalance was gone, replaced by a look of utter seriousness.

"Kizaru, you rely too much on your Devil Fruit. Do you really believe Logia types are invincible?" Ye Chen sneered. "This world is vast. Armament Haki isn't the only thing that can harm Logia types."

"To be lectured by a brat, how disgraceful! But can you tell me why you were able to harm me?" Kizaru looked at Ye Chen earnestly. It was well-known that physical attacks were ineffective against Logia types; it was common knowledge. But just now, Kizaru had distinctly felt a peculiar power suppressing his ability through the claw, preventing him from liquefying, or rather, naturalizing. This power was completely unfamiliar, unlike Haki. If Haki felt expansive and domineering, that other energy felt lofty and commanding, looking down on everything.

"Why should I tell you?" Ye Chen's eyes held a hint of disdain. The reason Little Sky could wound Kizaru was due to divine power. When Little Sky attacked, its claws were enveloped in a layer of divine power, allowing it to bypass Kizaru's Logia ability and prevent him from naturalizing.

Kizaru's face gradually darkened at his words, and he said in a deep voice, "It seems I'll have to beat it out of you."

"That depends on your ability," Ye Chen said with a chuckle.

...

For a moment, a heavy atmosphere enveloped the space. Neither Kizaru nor Ye Chen moved. Just then, a boisterous voice suddenly rang out.

"It's so lively here, I'll join in too!"

As the voice faded, the towering Kaido suddenly appeared between the two.

"Kaido, why are you here?" Kizaru's face changed drastically. Ye Chen plus the Sky Dragon were already troublesome enough for him. Now with Kaido popping up, Kizaru immediately felt immense pressure. At the same time, he felt a tinge of regret. He should have known better than to accept this mission.

"Kaido, eh?" Ye Chen looked at the imposing Kaido below, who exuded a dangerous aura. His instincts told him that Kaido was even more dangerous than Kizaru.

"Haha, Kizaru, let's cooperate! You want that brat's head to report to the Celestial Dragons, and I want the mount beneath his feet. How about it?"

Kizaru's eyes showed a flicker of temptation at the suggestion. If he cooperated with Kaido, capturing Ye Chen would be a sure thing. However, he also realized that Kaido's target was the red giant dragon.

"When did this Kaido guy pop up, interfering at this moment?" Ye Chen's brows furrowed. And if Kaido really cooperated with Kizaru, his situation would become extremely perilous.

Absolutely cannot let them cooperate, Ye Chen thought to himself.

"Is this what the Marines call justice? Refusing to capture the great pirate Kaido, yet opting to cooperate with him instead." Ye Chen's eyes showed a hint of disdain. "Marines cooperating with pirates—that truly defiles the word 'justice.'"

"Marines can never cooperate with pirates. You don't need to remind me, Ye Chen," Kizaru said, his expression returning to normal, his earlier temptation vanishing without a trace.

Seeing this, Ye Chen smiled faintly. "Then, Kizaru, I'm not a pirate. Let's cooperate and kill Kaido."

"I don't cooperate with criminals," Kizaru refused without hesitation.

Ye Chen was a person specifically targeted for capture by the Celestial Dragons. How could he possibly cooperate with Ye Chen? Moreover, this Kaido character simply couldn't be killed. The Marines had captured him countless times, yet still couldn't put him down, allowing him to roam free.
