After a brief pause, his voice sounded full of meaning. "I've never dated before. That was my first kiss with a woman. And now my first kiss is gone—just like that. How tragic." he sighed deliberately, his tone almost teasing. "So, tell me, how do you plan to replace it?"
Willow's eyes widened, her lips slightly parted as she struggled to find the words.
She knew, he had never been with anyone before, never dated, never kissed.
Earlier, they hadn't had the chance to kiss because of an interruption from his subordinate.
And what did he mean by "replace it"? So, if they had kissed, it would have been his first kiss!
But why did he make it sound as though his first kiss was more valuable than hers?
