It has been 3 years since the kyuubi attack and things in konoha has gotten better. Many buildings have been rebuilt, shinobi have focused on getting stronger and focus more on training. Clans homes have been all rebuilt and many shinobi and civilians are no longer injured. But there are still some problems here and there.
Hokage Office:
Minato Namikaze is currently inside the hokages tower with his wife and the legendary Sannin discussing an important matter. "Minato, I just received an important prophecy from the toads." Jiraiya stated which began the discussion among the 5 shinobi. "Are you sure?" Minato asked to which Jiraiya nodded his head. "Do what is it about then Jiraiya?" Orochimaru asked.
"Well it says here that a child born with great power chosen by the gods can either live to save the world or destroy it." Jiraiya said reading the scroll to everyone. "So what does this have to do with us anyway?" Kushina asked. "Well I believe who the prophecy is talking about one of your children." Jiraiya says looking at Minato and Kushina. "Why do you believe it is one of our children?" Minato asked curious as to why his sensei told him the prophecy is about one of his children.
"Well I believe it is one of your kids because your kids have the nine tails chakra and are born from two kage level shinobi." Jiraiya said giving his student his answer. This made everyone wonder and agree to Jiraiya's statement. "Okay, lets just say we agree it is one of our kids. Which one would it be?" Kushina asked. "Well it has to be one of the heroes if konoha. Menma, Mito and Narumi." Jiraiya stated. "I say its between those three because all 3 have the kyuubi's chakra." Jiraiya said giving his reason as to why he thinks its between 3 out of 4 children that are 3 years old currently.
"What about Naruto?" Orochimaru asked wondering why Naruto wasnt mentioned. "Well I didnt mention Naruto because he only has 10% of the kyuubi's chakra and he has the soul so the kyuubi could always corrupt if he so chooses." Jiraiya said. "No way, there is no way we are neglecting our don Naruto over dome stupid prophecy which we dont even know is true in the first place. How are you so sure it is even true anyways?" Kushina said screaming at Jiraiya.
"Kushina wait, he may be right. Naruto has the kyuubi's soul so he could take over our son at any moment. And sensei is right, it is probably for the best to leave Naruto alone and train the other three." Minato said to his wife trying to calm her down. "How dare you think it is okay to leave our son Minato. Are you insane? Kushina screamed out at Minato. "Kushina wait, you have to think about this carefully. Are you really going to pick one child over the entire world?" Tsunade asked.
"No I am not saying that. All I am saying is we cant abandon our son for something we know that not might be true." Kushina said back. Minato then put both of his hands on both on Kushina and states, " Kushina, you know that the toads are never wrong. Remember the time the toads said you would have quadruplets." Minato said. Kushina then nodded.
"Remember when the toads told us we would have twins." To which Kushina then nodded again. "So that means the prophecy is true and that one of our children is the child of prophecy." Minato exclaimed. "Plus, we will have tons of time to train Naruto in the future." Minato said. "Fine Minato, but you better be right about this prophecy." Kushina told Minato not liking the fact she will have to abandon her son. "It is settled then. The five of us have to do everything in our power to make sure those three triplets become strong and loyal to konoha and eventually one of them will be the child of prophecy." To which everyone nodded and agreed to.
But what no one knew of was the fact Naruto was listening and was doing his best to hold back tears. How could his family abandon him over some random prophecy? He wondered. Naruto had escaped from the Uzumaki-Namikaze compound to follow his parents without them knowing. His sibling always bullied and played pranks on him. Every bad thing that happened, they blamed on Naruto. So Naruto felt like he had to get away. After hearing about the prophecy he quickly ran home and into his room.
Kurama sees all of this and hearing about the prophecy becomes enraged by it, but cant do anything about at the moment due to Naruto being so young and his chakra being too great for someone so young. Sighing Kurama goes back to sleep to think about what to do next.
2 years later:
It has been two years since Naruto had heard about the prophecy, and it is safe to say his views on his parents have changed. He no longer goes up to hug and help his parents as much as he used to. But today was even worse as it was him and his siblings birthday.
His parents have spent a whole entire month with the Sannin to make the birthday party special. Now normally Naruto wouldnt have a problem for this, but everyone has completly forgotten his birthday and no one even realizes he is there.
Morning of Birthday:
Naruto quickly wakes up and heads down stairs to see his mom. "Mom, do you know what day it is?" Naruto asked his mother. "Of course I do, it is your siblings birthday today." Kushina answered in a happy tone. Hearing this made Naruto unhappy and mad at his mother, but he was able to hide his sadness and hatred from his mother.
"Oh, and dont forget to wish your siblings a happy birthday Naruto." Kushina said which made Naruto even more pissed off. Naruto begins to head to hsi room until he runs into Menma which makes Menma fall to the ground. "Watch where you are going loser." Menma said. Naruto ignores his comment and continues to walk to his room. "Hey, I am talking to you loser." Menma said as he grabbed Naruto's shoulder, turns him around and punches him in the face which makes Naruto get on his knees and hands to cough out blood. "That is what you get for not obeying those better than you loser." Menma said as he walked away.
After Menma walks away, Naruto quickly gets up to clean himself for the party tonight.
The Birthday Party:
Everyone was having fun at the party besides Naruto. There were many familiar faces here. With those faces being the Uzumaki- Namikaze family, Legendary Sannin, Shizune, Kakashi, Obito, Rin, Genma, Hayate, Yugao, Anko, Kurenai, Asuma, Gai and Uchiha family which includes, Fugaku Uchiha, Mikoto Uchiha, and their three children Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, and Satsuki Uchiha (Sasukes twin sister). We also have two membere of the Uchiha clan named Shisui Uchiha and Izumi Uchiha (best friend and girl friend of Itachi Uchiha). There are more clans at the party like the Hyuuga clan with Hiashi Hyuuga, Hitomi Hyuuga (Hinata and Hanabi mother), and their two daughters Hinata Hyuuga, Hanabi Hyuuga, and two branch members Hizashi Hyuuga his son and Neji Hyuuga. The Inuzuka clan is also here with Tsume Inazuka, and her two children Hana Inuzuka and Kiba Inuzuka. 3 other clans here are the Nara, Yamanaka, and Akamichi clans. The Nara's have Shikaku Nara, Yoshino Nara, and their son Shikamaru Nara. The Yamanaka's have Inoichi Yamanaka, Noriko Yamanaka, and their daughter Ino Yamanaka. The Akamichi's have Choza Akamichi, Choharu Akamichi, and their son Choji Akamichi. The Aburame clan are here as well with Shibi Aburame and his son Shino Aburame. The final clan here are the kurama clan with Uroko Kurama and her daughter Yakumo Kurama. After that their is only one civilian family here and they are Kizashi Haruno, Mebuki Haruno, and their daughter Sakura Haruno.
Overall everyone was having a good time. Until Minato tapped is cup. "I hope everyone is having a good time and enjoying themselves but I do think it is time to open presents and make some announcements." Minato said causing everyone to cheer.
"Menma and Natsu, me and the toads have agreed to give you this." Jiraiya said coming up to the two boys with a large scroll containing the ability to summon the toads. This caused everyone to become shocked but eventually they all cheered. Menma and Natsu eventually signed the scroll and both of them used the [Summoning Jutsu] to summon toads. What appeared are two toads Gamakichi and Gamatatsu. "Whats up kid." Gamakichi told Natsu. To which they quickly became friends. And Gamatatsu then greeted himself to Menma as well. Tsunade then comes up next to Jiraiya with a large scroll as well.
"Mito I have talked with Lady Katsuyu and she has agreed to let you become the next summoner of the slugs." Tsunade said proudly opening the scroll. This again shocked everyone which quickly git replaced with claps and cheers from everyone. Mito quickly signed the contract as she came over to Tsunade to hug her tightly.
After that Orochimaru comes to stand beside his teammates with a large scroll. "Narumi and Naruko, just like the other two, the snakes have allowed me to let you two become the next summoners of the Snakes." Orochimaru said. There was no more shocks as everyone just began to clap and cheer for the two girls. Narumi and Naruko both signed the Snake summoning scroll as they both came to hug Orochimaru.
After all the Sannin's gifts many other began to give the triplets gifts as well. "I heard the both of you have been foing well in the academy." Jiraiya said looking at Natsu and Naruko. To which they both nod with smiles. "Is it true that Itachi is also in your class?" Jiraiya asked to which they both nod slowly to. "Well why arent you two happy huh?" Jiraiya asked. "Its because he id number 1 in the class and has more fangirls than me." Natsu said sadly to which Itachi hears and smirks to hearing Natsu admitting he is better. "He is also weird, he never smiles and he always keeps to himself." Naruko pouted. "Well train harder you two and you may surpass him." Jiraiya said. "Well at least Hana and Izumi are in my class." Naruko said. "Its good to have friends, so I am glad you have two good ones." Jiraiya said rubbing Naruko's hair.
Minato then claps his cup again. "Everyone I have another announcement to make." Minato said which git everyones attention. "Me and Kushina have decided to train the triplets to be able to handle the kyuubi's chakra and and train all 5 of our kids in our jutsus and techniques." Minato said to which everyone clapped for. "That is all everyone and have a good time." Hearing this everyone went back to partying.
In Narutos Room:
Naruto overall has not been having a very good day. Everyone had forgotten about him and his birthday, and to make it worse Menma punched him hard in the face. This made Naruto more determined to get stronger and prove everyone strong as he began to workout and surpass his limits. Kurama seeing this smiles at his jinchuriki and only hopes to talk to him soon. After that day it onky helped Naruto grow stronger even more and drive him to become the best there ever was.
