[Remarks:]

[Notes:]

(Born of two extraordinarily gifted Lugia, this Pokémon has outstanding potential. Currently in its infancy stage. Due to constant overprotection, it has developed a timid and cautious personality.)

After Sam fed him a Rare Candy, the changes in little Lugia were immediate and dramatic.

His level jumped from 40 to 55, propelling him from basic Gym-tier to the intermediate ranks of an Elite-class Pokémon.

His body, once a compact 2 meters, had now grown to nearly 3 meters in length.

When he spread his wings fully, the span easily reached 6 meters.

Large enough now to carry Sam through the skies without much trouble.

Sam smiled as he gently rubbed the Pokémon's head.

"Lili~!" Lugia cooed, the sound noticeably deeper now, less like a child and more like a maturing adolescent.

Across from them, the older mother Lugia stared in stunned silence.

She looked from her child to Sam, blinking in disbelief.

Her expression was a mix of awe and confusion, as if the Pokémon standing before her was no longer her own.

Her gaze fell on Sam, eyes narrowing slightly.

"As expected of the one chosen by the Lord of the Skies…!"

"To awaken Silver's strength so fast, "

"Entrusting him to this human… it was the right choice!"

There was a flare of pride in her eyes now, almost reverent.

Then, without warning, a single shimmering feather detached from her wing and floated downward, slowly, elegantly.

A silver-white plume, radiant and glinting in the morning light.

Sam extended his hand and caught it.

The Silver feather.

A wave of psychic energy brushed against his consciousness.

Through his connection to the three divine forces, Sam could feel it; this feather pulsed with the immense spiritual power of the mother Lugia.

He tucked it away carefully.

A gift...

With a solemn gaze, mother Lugia turned to her child.

She crooned softly, exchanging a few affectionate words, too private for even Sam to fully understand.

And then, with one powerful beat of her wings, she dove into the endless depths of the sea.

Gone.

The next morning, the salty ocean breeze blew gently over the beach.

Sam stood barefoot on the sand, his hair tousled by the wind.

Around him stood three of his Pokémon: Silver, Luca, and Darkrai.

"Silver," Sam said gently, placing a hand on Lugia's neck, "We'll be training you today."

"You'll be sparring with Lucario for training."

"Lili~?" Lugia blinked, head tilting.

His wings twitched uncertainly.

Despite the growth and increase in level, Silver still lacked confidence.

He had the power, yes, but no control, no composure.

That timidity held him back like a tether.

It needed to be broken.

Lucario stepped forward without being called.

He gave a sharp bark, "Luka!", and took a combat stance.

Eyes narrowed. Aura is sharp and focused.

He began channeling Aura, centering himself in an instant.

The air around him shimmered faintly with power.

Silver flapped his wings, a mixture of nerves and anticipation bubbling within him.

He looked at Sam.

"Don't worry," Sam said calmly.

"This is just training. No danger. Just follow my lead."

"Use Gust."

"Lili~!"

The command startled Silver, but he reacted quickly.

His wings opened wide, and he began to pump them rhythmically, channeling energy from deep within.

A swirling gale burst forth, roaring as it swept toward Lucario.

Lucario didn't flinch.

With a sharp cry, sparks of electricity danced across his body, Extreme Speed primed and ready.

His paw pressed into the sand, leaving behind a deep print as he launched himself forward, directly into the wind.

The force of Silver's Gust clashed against Lucario's aura-enhanced charge, creating a burst of air that rippled across the shoreline.

Sam watched with keen eyes, not just the battle, but the way Silver moved.

The hesitation before the attack.

The flutter in his wings. The glance for reassurance.

He wasn't trying to win.

He was trying not to mess up.

Sam narrowed his eyes slightly.

This would be a long road.

But he had faith.

Lucario reacted swiftly.

As the whirlwind from Gust surged toward him, he bent low and slipped just outside the blast radius.

Sand kicked up under his feet as he sidestepped the gust's path with practiced grace.

While dodging, Lucario began gathering energy into his right hand, and a dense, glowing sphere of aura quickly took form.

His eyes locked onto the airborne Lugia.

Then, whoosh, Lucario hurled the Aura Sphere high into the air.

Boom!

It struck little Lugia mid-flight with a muffled explosion.

The impact didn't knock him out of the sky, but it did throw him off balance.

His wings trembled as he struggled to regain control, flapping hard to keep from spiraling downward.

Sam observed calmly, arms crossed.

"Lucario didn't go all out," he murmured to himself.

"Aura Sphere is a Fighting-type move. Against Silver's Psychic and Flying typing… it barely dealt a quarter of its usual power."

That said, the force was enough to rattle the young Lugia.

"Silver's training will be a long journey."

But it was a start.

As Silver steadied himself in the air, Sam raised his voice again.

"Fly higher, Silver!"

"Lili~!"

The young Lugia responded with a determined cry, his wings beating faster as he rose sharply into the sky.

Sunlight shimmered off his silvery feathers.

Sam nodded.

"Now, Aeroblast!"

Silver's entire body seemed to light up with energy.

A powerful current surged through him as he began charging the move.

This was it.

The exclusive move of the Lugia clan.

The signature attack that reduced everything in its path to dust: Aeroblast.

Energy spiraled through his body, channeling toward his mouth.

A faint glow became a blinding white light, condensed and compressed until,

"Lili!!!"

Silver roared and unleashed the attack.

A massive column of pure white energy exploded from his mouth, slicing through the sky like a beam of divine fury.

On the ground, Lucario's eyes narrowed.

His stance shifted, calm, focused.

The air shimmered as an aura pulsed around his body.

Without hesitation, Lucario summoned his aura, concentrating it outward.

A glowing white shield took shape, surrounding him in a protective dome of energy just as the Aeroblast slammed into it.

BOOM!

The collision erupted with force.

The shockwave rolled outward in all directions.

Sand exploded into the air.

The sheer pressure carved a deep, 15-meter-wide crater into the beach where Lucario stood.

Sam raised his arm to shield his face from the wind.

Even from this distance, the power of that attack had been immense.

"Alright," he called out.

"That's enough for today."

"Lili~..." Lugia's wings drooped.

He had poured everything into that one Aeroblast.

Spent and tired, he began descending slowly, gliding down in a wobbly path before gently landing back on the sand.

His legs buckled slightly, but he caught himself.

Lucario dismissed his aura shield, stepping out from the blast zone calmly.

"Luka~!" he said, raising his paw with a confident thumbs-up.

A rare gesture from the usually stoic Pokémon.

Silver blinked.

Then a soft chirp escaped him, "Lili~!", his eyes lighting up with pride.

He looked at Sam, wings trembling slightly, tail swaying, clearly seeking approval.

Sam smiled, walking over and placing a hand gently on Lugia's head.

"You did great, Silver. That Aeroblast was truly impressive."

Silver's tail gave a few excited swishes.

His whole body vibrated with joy under the praise.

Sam's gaze lingered on him for a moment longer.

His battle instincts were undeveloped.

His awareness during combat is still clumsy.

But that Aeroblast just now had the same devastating precision and raw energy as his mother's.

A faint echo of greatness.

Sam knew one thing for sure.

With enough training and the right guidance… Silver wouldn't just be a timid hatchling.

He would become a true force to be reckoned with.
