Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 – Dungeon war – part 6.

[Golem dungeon]

"Sup, I came back to give you report about the current situation." – said Ariava through the familiar.

"The beast dungeon has been completely exterminated out of all monsters."

"But the fourth monster wave was completely annihilated by the dungeon master of that place."

"But they were able to wound him…. But not like mortally wound him or make him half dead, no. This guy is still fine."

"But this is overall situation."

"…"

(The beast dungeon is out of monsters!) – thought excited Thauma.

(They won't be getting any more miasma, while I can continue production of my own monsters!)

"I'VE WON!"

"This is what you thought, didn't you?"

"Don't be a bloody idiot."

"Did you forgotten about the time limit I've had placed on you?"

"Even if you took control over the flow of the battle and stuff, it still took you sometime to produce army of monsters, send that army and have it conquer the beast dungeon."

"But the dungeon master is a different thing."

"Even if you are weak, but has potential to be strong, the dungeon master of that place does not possess a complicated potential that is holding him back in his early stages."

"Pretty much, your fourth attack only dealt with some random stranglers, meaning that entire force of that attack went and confronted the dungeon master, who was alone, and yet he was the only one who survived."

"Confidence is something that can push you forward and make you take a step."

"But it is also a thing that can blind you."

"Got it?

"Don't let that feeling control you and make a clown out of you."

"?"

"Clown? What is that?" – asked the puppet by writing.

"…Ah…. Well, that kind of ruined a moment." – said Ariava.

"Anyway, just be in control instead of that feeling, got it?" – said Ariava as the pupped nodded in response.

"Good."

"Then don't fuck up like an idiot now."

In a way, the battle between the beast and golem dungeon was over.

The beast dungeon had no way of restoring itself nor it has any means of restocking any monsters, since it long ago had run out of miasma to produce any soldiers….. And even if it would produce the soldiers, golems would just hunt them down.

The dungeon master of the beast dungeon could not hold out forever.

True.

The core can heal the dungeon master…. But that mechanic has multiple catches:

-It cannot do it often – The cooldown is longer the longer the process is used for AND it also depends on the dungeon rank power.

-Dungeon can't really operate while using the dormant function – It cannot modify dungeon or spawn additional monsters.

-This process requite a set up and interrupting it will instantly destroy the process – Dungeon master needs to be near the core for X amount of time before the healing can even start and even a single stray arrow can stop the process. If the process is destroyed before finished, it will take longer time for dungeon to restore the process to its proper function – the process is very delicate.

-During the process the dungeon master enters the dormant state – They are unconscious.

-The process uses miasma and the amount of miasma that can be used during this process is limited by the dungeon rank – It does not have an infinity healing process that can work nonstop, it has a limit.

Simple put, the [Dormant Dungeon] process sucks big time and it can only be used in case of high emergency WHILE ALSO MAKING SURE THAT DUNGEON WOULDN'T BE DESTORYED WHILE DUNGEON MASTERS RECOVERS!

In short. The beast dungeon master cannot use this process.

And even if he did, the process would end up being interrupted, resulting in the beast dungeon having to wait until the dungeon can restore the process.

"DEATH SETENCE"

There was no hope.

There was no way to win.

At this point, it could be said that even if the dungeon master wasn't controlled by the demoness, the results would be still same…. No. If anything, the reason why the beast dungeon was only dominating in the early fight was because of the demoness control.

However now? She does not need that.

She does not need a puppet.

She needs a beast.

And so, she snapped the control, releasing the dungeon monster from her control.

"!?"

(What?!)

The dungeon master who had been enslaved for days suddenly regained control over their own mind and their body….. But even after only now regaining their freedom, there was no time to rest as the golems once again attacked, forcing the dungeon master to fight the golems.

And from the get go, it was obvious that the fighting style of the dungeon master was different.

It was more savage and desperate.

The dungeon master knew it and its dungeon would die if it did not resisted….

There is a saying that the beast are most dangerous when they were cornered…. And that holds true in this situation.

The second golem wave was destroyed much faster than before.

But the beast dungeon knew that more monsters will come.

It knew….. Yet it also knew it had no miasma left to make any monsters or even start up even small recovery using dungeon core.

All I had was it natural regenerative gift.

….

But…. The next wave of monsters was…. Too much.

It wasn't a small invasion force or large group; it was straight up army.

The despair instantly took over the beast mind.

Now…. "Why?"

Why was there such large army of monsters just appearing as the third attack force? What is going on?

The answer is pretty much simple that nobody really needs explanation.

The golem dungeon did not needed to defend anymore.

It could just fully focus on the offence and since no attacks came from the beast dungeon, hunting down the dungeon monsters, it obviously caused every single one of golems to fully manifest.

Not only that, but the Ariava warning also caused reaction.

It decided to not screw around and just go all out….. And so, the army of golems marched into the beast dungeon, before then confronting dungeon master of the beast dungeon.

"…"

It knew.

It knew that there was too many monsters…. But it also knew that if it gives up, the dungeon and its life will be over….. And so, it gave up into its feral nature, straight up going berserk.

It ripped apart.

Slashed apart.

Bite apart.

Stretched apart.

Smashed.

Crushed.

Pierced.

It was destroying golems over and over without rest nonstop….. Or more exactly, it could not rest at all as the golems just were keep coming at it, even as the dungeon master room was getting filled with more and more golems remains, the creatures did not stopped pouring into dungeon master room.

The hide of the beast was durable, able to take on countless hit…. But even with it and its regeneration, the damage was stacking.

The slashes were butchering the creature.

The flesh was smashed by the hammers.

The bones were broken by the giants.

And the bolts were digging deeper into its flesh.

It fought and fought and fought…. But as the damage and exhaustion accumulation, the once frenzy beast straight up ran out of the gas…. And that obviously led to this outcome.

Slaughter.

Golems surrounded the dungeon master as it tried to just move around with its destroyed and exhausted body….. But there was really no way it could do anything in its current state.

They slaughtered the dungeon master.

The exhausted beast could not fight at all anymore, resulting in it getting attacked from all directions by the golems….. Before then finally dying.

"…"

(Well, it honestly survived way better than I thought.) – thought Ariava while using her insect eye familiar.

(It did destroyed way more golems than I had thought…. But again, there was no way it could had won against these numbers.)

(It was fighting a battle that could had never be won.)

"And now, its dungeon will be absorbed by Thauma dungeon….. I wonder what kind fucked up shit will happened from now?"
