Overview:

Peter Parker's story has been told countless times, but it remains one of the cornerstones in the history of powered beings. After the loss of his parents, Peter was raised in Queens by his uncle and aunt. At fifteen, two defining events set his life's path.

First: the bite. A bio-engineered Oscorp spider, irradiated with experimental isotopes, passed on its abilities: proportional strength of a spider, wall-crawling, heightened reflexes, and a precognitive danger sense ("Spider-Sense").

Second: the death of Uncle Ben. A tragedy born of Peter's inaction — allowing a criminal to escape, who later murdered his uncle. This solidified the lesson Ben had instilled in him: "With great power comes great responsibility." Unlike many, Parker carried those words until the end.

Feats & Adversaries:

Through the years, Spider-Man has been known by many titles: Amazing, Spectacular, Avenging, Ultimate—and above all, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. He earned each one. From saving civilians in Queens to combatting global threats — even [REDACTED] — Parker proved himself capable on every battlefield.

His rogues gallery remains infamous: Chameleon, Vulture, Electro, Rhino, Mysterio, [REDACTED], among others. Their repeated failures to defeat him led to the formation of the Sinister Six. Even united, they could not overcome his willpower and resilience.

Personal Note:

Peter met my mother on multiple occasions, the first of them was at the start of her time with the X-Men. They were the same age, kindred spirits in their questions of morality and mutant acceptance. Friends… maybe more, from her perspective. I never asked.

Legacy:

When the world speaks of heroes, one name stands above the rest. Spider-Man is remembered — rightfully — as the greatest hero of them all.
