Morgan looks as disheveled and worn out as expected of a man who had fought a group of wolves and had watched them kill his twin.
However, what caught Heidi's attention was beyond that. Usually, she could feel her mates' wolves, no matter how faint the aura was. However, right now, her eyes are on Morgan and it's no different from watching Nash or Ace.
"W-What…?" She finds herself whispering, mouth slightly agape.
Her wolf solidifies her wonder by affirming: "His wolf… It's gone."
At that, Heidi's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets. How? How on earth is that possible? She gasped internally. However, she has to push that thought aside as Darien addresses the crowd.
"Heidi wouldn't harm a fly," he roars as he strides into the center of the courtyard. He doesn't go to his mother or sisters.
