THE BAD NEWS FIRST: Book Two of this novel will not be releasing yet. But it is not dead, and I still care about it a lot. As you probably realized while reading, a huge amount of work went into the lore, characters, and worldbuilding, and there is still so much I have not shown you yet. If anyone would suffer the most from this story not continuing, it would definitely be me.
That said, I also need to build a larger audience before I can come back to this novel properly. On its own, it is a very slow grower, and right now I do not have the time to continue it purely for leisure. My goal is to make a living from writing.
But that is where the good news comes in: if you enjoyed my writing (and I hope you did, because if not, making it all the way to the end would have been pure torture), you might be interested to know that I have another project in the works, one that I have a lot of faith in. In fact, I have already written even more for that story than I did for this one.
If that sounds interesting to you, I would really appreciate it if you checked it out. If we can help it grow, and if I can start earning a real income from writing, then I will have the means to continue this story in the future. And who knows, maybe once that project is finished, I can even bring readers from there back to this one.
Of course, I am not forcing anyone to do anything, I literally cannot, haha. But if the new novel sounds interesting to you, at least give it a look. It will be released gradually, and there are also advanced chapters on Patreon, which I am trying as a way to make writing financially viable for me.
