"Jandy, my steward," Wes introduced solemnly, his voice carrying clearly through the sea breeze. "If you need anything for daily life, just go to him. Don't worry—I've already prepared more than enough supplies. Even if you take a bath every day–which you really need–it's more than sufficient."
Jandi's eyes fell on Jack Sparrow and Angelica with blatant disdain, as if he were looking at two piles of worthless trash.
However, for Jandi, Wes's orders were absolute and not to be disobeyed.
"If you need anything, just say so… you two filthy Muggles." With that, Jandi no longer spared them a glance. He slowly looked around the ship, then suddenly cried out, "Why is this ship so filthy? How could my master stay in such a dirty place?"
As soon as he spoke, he snapped his fingers.
In an instant, dozens of cleaning tools—brooms, mops, brushes—appeared out of thin air and began cleaning the ship on their own.
In no time at all, the deck was filled with bubbles that shimmered in the sunlight, glowing with rainbow hues like something straight out of a fairytale.
"Well, that's a sight to behold," Jack Sparrow said, quickly stepping aside to let a broom pass.
His face was filled with astonishment, eyes wide in disbelief.
Angelica, too, watched everything unfold in awe. What she saw before her was something only found in children's stories.
"Can Blackbeard do magic like that?" Jack asked softly.
"No," Angelica shook her head slowly. "I mean—I don't know, actually."
Jack shrugged, his expression indifferent.
The deck was soon spotless, even waxed to a soft gleam under the sun.
But Jandi still wasn't satisfied. He frowned as he inspected the ropes, sails, helm—every part of the ship had been thoroughly cleaned.
Now, the dirtiest things left on board were… Jack Sparrow and Angelica.
Jandi looked at them with disgust, his voice laced with contempt. "You two filthy Muggles, have you no sense of hygiene? Did you crawl out of a garbage heap?"
Pirates spent their days under the sun and salt spray, often going months without a proper bath. Expecting them to care about cleanliness was simply unrealistic.
Jack Sparrow had long grown used to this. His skin was thicker than a barnacle-encrusted hull, and Jandi's scornful gaze didn't bother him in the slightest. He just shrugged.
Angelica, on the other hand, blushed faintly in embarrassment and lowered her head, avoiding Jandi's judging eyes.
Jandi raised his wand and cast Scourgify on the two of them.
"Whoa…" Jack sniffed at himself, surprised by the fresh scent coming off his body—a cleanliness he hadn't experienced in ages.
He touched his now spotless clothes and looked a bit uncomfortable, not used to feeling this clean.
Angelica gently smoothed her hair, which had become exceptionally silky and gleaming under the effects of the spell.
"Listen up," Jandi said sternly. "You must stay clean at all times. After waking up, you must…"
He launched into a long list of rules and reminders, all revolving around keeping themselves neat and presentable.
Angelica didn't object. She actually thought staying clean was a good thing.
But Jack Sparrow—true to his contrary nature—already looked like he wanted to rebel.
"We're pirates, not noblemen. And that's not a stink—it's the scent of masculine charm," Jack Sparrow said with a grin, deliberately rubbing his sleeve along the deck, then glaring provocatively at Jandi.
Jandi said nothing. He simply raised his index finger and tapped the air lightly.
Jack Sparrow's body suddenly floated off the ground. He waved his arms and legs, seemingly enjoying the sudden sensation of flying.
"Haha, this is fun! I've never flown before. Can you lift me higher?"
Jack continued to taunt him gleefully.
But the grin on his face froze in the next second.
His body suddenly plummeted straight into a large wooden tub filled with hot water. The temperature was scalding, and Jack couldn't help but let out a howl.
At the same time, several stiff-bristled brushes began scrubbing him back and forth. These brushes were meant for cleaning the deck—coarse and merciless.
It didn't take long for Jack Sparrow to break down. He flailed and pleaded for mercy.
Watching Jack's miserable state, Angelica dared not say a word. She just stood quietly to the side.
In fact, being able to bathe daily on a ship was something she had always dreamed of.
As the sun slowly dipped below the horizon and the moon rose quietly into the sky, Jandi had already prepared a sumptuous dinner.
The dining table was packed with delicious food. The aroma of grilled steak filled the air. Fresh vegetables and fruits added vibrant color, while the scent of freshly baked bread was utterly tantalizing.
"This feels like a dream," Angelica sighed, awestruck.
She had never enjoyed such a lavish meal before—especially fresh fruits and vegetables, which were a rare luxury at sea.
Jack Sparrow sat down without hesitation and immediately devoured the steak in front of him. After a long day, he was ravenous.
Though Jandi was clearly annoyed by his lack of manners, he still prepared another steak for him.
Angelica also began to enjoy the meal. She used her utensils with elegance and savored each bite with grace.
After dinner, Wes asked about their arrival at Whitecap Bay.
"How long until we reach Whitecap Bay?" Wes asked.
"Three more days," Jack Sparrow replied, his voice echoing in the dim cabin.
He gazed through the porthole at the churning sea, his mind calculating the journey ahead and how much rest he could manage. "I can't be at the helm 24 hours a day. I need rest."
Wes didn't argue. Instead, he pulled a small, delicate bottle from his cloak and tossed it to Jack.
"What's this?" Jack caught the bottle and studied it curiously.
Under the lantern's warm glow, the emerald green liquid inside shimmered with a mysterious glow.
"Something that'll keep you awake for three days and nights. Don't worry—it's not poisonous."
Jack opened the bottle and sniffed it lightly. A fresh herbal scent filled his nose, and he immediately felt more alert.
Angelica grabbed his hand, trying to stop him from drinking the unknown potion.
"Relax. If the wizard wanted to kill us, he wouldn't need to bother with something like this," Jack Sparrow said casually, then downed the potion in one go.
The cool liquid slid down his throat, spreading into his stomach like a spring of revitalizing energy. He felt completely refreshed.
Buuurp~ Jack opened his mouth and let out a burp of green mist. His eyes suddenly seemed brighter and more awake.
"Jack?" Angelica gripped his hand nervously. "Are you okay?"
Jack Sparrow shook his head vigorously. "I feel amazing! I could fight a whole day straight!"
Suddenly, Jack swept Angelica into his arms and kissed her deeply.
Angelica enjoyed it at first—but remembering there were others present, she quickly shoved him away.
"Captain Sparrow," Wes said, deadpan. "That potion wasn't meant for that."
Angelica pretended to be busy adjusting her clothes, trying to hide her embarrassment.
Jack Sparrow simply pulled her along and left the dining room, his voice echoing down the corridor: "I'm going to the helm. We'll get to Whitecap Bay as fast as possible!"
