A child sat on a park bench. Her name was Posel, Posel Canasi. She was alone.
She looks around to see some other kids playing in the park.
She thought, I am the only one alone here. All of them have friends. But I don't have any friends. I wonder if in the future I would ever be able to make friends.
She never managed to make friends everyone always avoided her since she wasn't comfortable talking with strangers.
She was socially awkward and so she was unable to make any friends. Not even girls her own age talked to her, certainly no boy her age would talk to her either.
A few years passed since that day. She was 10 years old now. In school, but still no friends. Whenever she tried to talk to anyone she would freeze and no words would come out. Soon everyone thought she didn't want to talk with them and so everyone avoided her.
What else could you expect from such a situation....
She was sitting at her desk and just looking around the classroom and listening what others were talking about. This is usually how things go at school. She just listens to her classmates talking when there is a break period.
Two girls sitting infront of her were taking and she started listening
One girl said, "I saw a snake on my way to school today."
The other girl responds, "Wow, you really saw a snake. Snakes are so scary. Didn't you see movies where a snake would eat someone"
"No! That isn't real. Snakes are not that big and can't eat a person like that. It was just in movies."
The conversation goes on and Posel just keeps listening, she doesn't participate in the conversation. She thinks, They are talking about snakes. Even if I try to talk to them what will happen. They will probably ignore me. No point in trying. I am just meant to be alone I guess.
Her life has always been like this. She never talks to anyone in her class, so she doesn't have any friends. She has loving parents who do their best for her. She loves her parents and thinks of always being with them, for her entire life. She was unaware of what would happen in the future.
Years passed and things didn't change. She never made any friends or developed any social skills. The only things she did was study and play video games. When she was finnally 15 years old she needed to go to high school. And there were no nearby high schools in her neighbourhood. So her parents decided to send her to a prestigious high school where she would stay with the other students of the school in the dorms.
As you might expect, she didn't want to go initially. She thought, There is no way I can live there alone without my parents. If my parents won't be there what would I even do. I can't make any friends. Even if I try it would fail. Nobody wants to be my friend. I am always alone. Always.... Always..... Always..... Always alone....
But in the end her parents convinced her to go. She went to her new high school. She would spent the next 3 years of her life there, alone. Or so she thought...
