All of a sudden, the noise surged like a wave!
The patriarchs of the various ninja clans shouted in unison, demanding Danzo be executed on the spot!
"You!"
The Third Hokage's hands trembled with rage.
Treachery! This group of people… They dared to defy the Hokage!
"I am the Hokage!"The Third Hokage roared.
"Do any of you have objections to how I've handled this matter?"
"I've said already—Danzo's guilt hasn't been definitively proven. We must take him back and investigate further!"
"That is the Hokage's decision!"
The shouting halted. The voices of the clan heads fell silent.
Only cold, resentful gazes remained.
Hokage, Hokage, Hokage!Sarutobi Hiruzen—this old man! Other than hiding behind the title, what else could he say?
But… they couldn't do anything.
As long as the Third Hokage held that seat, he could always use his authority as a shield.
Unless...
Unless someone could force him down.
That thought passed through everyone's minds.
And instinctively, all eyes turned toward Hyuga Naraku.
Hope flickered faintly in their eyes.
Was he the one who could finally bring Hiruzen down?
"Lord Third Hokage believes the evidence isn't enough?"Hyuga Naraku spoke calmly."Then what about Danzo's transplantation of the First Hokage's cells? Isn't that evidence enough?"
He pointed toward Danzo, still pinned to the tree.
The Third Hokage fell silent for a long moment.
In his anger earlier, he had alienated all the clan heads with his words.
"I'm not trying to protect Danzo."He finally spoke."It's true—he did transplant Hashirama's cells without authorization."
The Third Hokage looked up at the massive tree and nodded."However, Elder Danzo still needs to be taken back for further investigation."
"There may be more hidden crimes to uncover. That is my duty—to handle this with care and responsibility as Hokage."
The clan heads scoffed inwardly.
Not protecting Danzo?
What hasn't he done that you didn't know about, Hiruzen?
But they didn't care about the rest of Danzo's crimes.
What mattered now was simple—
They wanted to see Danzo dead.
They wanted this man who had wreaked havoc on the village gone—for good.
"Ah, I see… so that's what you meant, Lord Third."
Hyuga Naraku smiled, acting as if he had suddenly understood.
"In that case, allow me to assist in gathering more evidence."
His Byakugan suddenly changed—transforming into a glowing Tenseigan, brilliant and frosty blue like snowflakes.
He had just collected 700 Chakra Points after defeating Danzo. With his Yin Release nearing a breakthrough, he decisively poured all of it in.
A gentle, icy chakra surged through his eyes.
This was no destructive attack like the Golden Wheel or Silver Wheel Reincarnation Techniques…
It was a practical, terrifying power:
Memory Reading.
A soft blue chakra sphere formed in Naraku's palm.
He stepped forward, and before Danzo could react, Naraku pressed the glowing orb into his chest.
Danzo's eyes widened in horror as he felt his mind being ripped open—like every secret, every lie, every memory was now bared naked.
Moments later, Naraku pulled the chakra sphere back and calmly began reading aloud:
"In the 45th year of Konoha, Danzo sent Root operatives to assassinate Uchiha Toyama during a mission. He then harvested Toyama's eyes."
"Toyama?!"Uchiha Fugaku shouted in disbelief.
Toyama was a skilled Jōnin with a fully awakened Sharingan. He had disappeared years ago on a mission—Fugaku had always believed it to be an accident.
Now he knew the truth.
"Danzo! You… You killed Toyama and pretended it was a failed mission!"Fugaku growled, furious.
No body had ever been recovered.
Because Danzo needed to cover up the theft of Toyama's Sharingan.
Danzo didn't respond. His face turned an ugly shade of green.
But Naraku continued:
"In Year 49, Danzo arranged for an orphan, whose parents died during the Nine-Tails attack, to be kidnapped and given to Orochimaru for human experimentation."
"The orphan's name is…"
"In Year 50, after Orochimaru defected, Danzo secretly traded Sharingan with him."
"The contact person for Orochimaru was…"
"In Year 41, after Hatake Sakumo's mission failed, Danzo spread rumors to destroy his reputation."
"He bribed Sakumo's saved teammates to turn on him. Afterward, he had the accuser killed and buried the body at…"
"And there's more—"
"Enough!"
The Third Hokage shouted, unable to listen anymore.
His heart trembled.
That memory-reading ability… it was horrifying.
And it was clear—if Naraku kept going, his own name would start to surface too.
After all, he had known of many of Danzo's crimes.
Sometimes… he had even played a part in them.
If Naraku revealed more, he would fall with Danzo.
Better to act now.
"Danzo has committed countless crimes. His actions are unforgivable."The Third Hokage declared righteously.
Danzo's eyes widened in shock.
He had been abandoned.
"Hiruzen, you..."
Danzo raised his only free hand, pointing in betrayal.
"You're going to let me die?! After everything I did for Konoha?!"
"Danzo, your crimes have doomed you. Accept your fate."The Hokage said coldly.
It was better to sacrifice Danzo than have them both exposed.
Danzo's face twisted in rage and despair.
"Fine. Very well."
"But don't think this is over, Hiruzen!"
"Anyone who betrays me won't end well!"
"Even if I die… I'll be waiting for you down below!"
"We'll meet again soon!"
Hyuga Naraku listened quietly.
Then, he drew his Kusanagi Sword and looked toward the Third Hokage.
"Lord Third, since Danzo's crimes are confirmed… he should be executed."
The Hokage hesitated, then spoke with a pale face:
"Yes."
Naraku raised an eyebrow.
"Would you like the honor of doing it yourself?"
"No need."Came the cold reply.
"As you wish."
Hyuga Naraku sighed, seemingly disappointed that he wouldn't see Hiruzen do it himself.
Then—he swung the blade.
Danzo's head fell cleanly from his shoulders.
Justice had been delivered.
