"Wait I didn't say that!" Raito snapped.
Kira crossed her arms again, smiling faintly. "You heard him. You're stuck with me now."
Raito's jaw tightened. "Tch. This is going to be annoying…"
"So you guys will be going soon?" Jiro asked, glancing at them. "You could've told me on the phone if you didn't want to go now. I'd have arranged things differently."
Raito scratched the back of his head. "Oh sorry. Don't be annoyed. We're still going today. It's just…"
Jiro raised a brow. "Are you not planning to change that coat? There's blood on it and it's torn. You know, I've got plenty of clothes that fit your style."
Raito sighed. "Fine. I'll take you up on the offer. Got a jacket or something I can wear?"
"Yeah, of course," Jiro said, motioning toward the house. "Come inside."
As Jiro walked ahead, Kira and Raito followed behind. The hall was quiet except for their footsteps. Kira looked at Raito from the corner of her eye.
