Chapter 105 - Chapter 105: A Message in the Sky – An Ultra Signature?

Half a month later...

The trip on the sea started to get boring.

During the day, he watched the film crew shoot scenes. If not, he'd just enjoy the sea breeze or fish a little.

At night, he trained with Sakura.

Even though Sakura had already spent all her money, and Naruto himself had nothing else to do, he still helped her practice.

One early morning,

Naruto woke up very early.

He grabbed a fishing rod, ready for some sea fishing, when he suddenly saw a huge iceberg!

"Is this the Land of Snow already?"

Naruto had never seen such a big piece of ice before, so he got curious and immediately stepped into the air toward the iceberg.

Before leaving, he even left a light message in the sky!

This so-called light message meant leaving glowing words in the sky or somewhere else.

And Naruto could decide how long it would stay!

But instead of calling it a light message, Naruto preferred to call it—an Ultra Signature!

No one knew Ultraman better than him!

...

An hour after Naruto left, the others on the ship finally came out.

"What's that?"

"Did he go to that iceberg?"

"Idiot, look over there, the iceberg! The iceberg!"

"What's going on? Where did this huge iceberg come from?"

"Should we go around it, director?"

"No… we'll shoot right here!"

"Huh?"

"Idiot! This is such a great spot! Rewrite the script! Rewrite the script!"

"Oh, okay!"

The script supervisor quickly agreed and ran to wake everyone up for the new shoot.

The director admired the towering iceberg, his mind full of bold ideas. But when he looked at the words in the sky, his brow furrowed slightly.

"What the heck is that? From this angle… it shouldn't affect the shot, right?"

"Yoshikawa! Yoshikawa!"

"What is it, director?"

"Move the ship closer!"

"Closer?"

"Right next to the iceberg, you fool! Are you messing with me? Do you know who I am, idiot!"

"Sorry, director! I'll take care of it right away!!"

Before long—

The ship docked!

The crew, already aware they had to improvise a new scene, got off the ship and started working busily.

"Brr~ so cold!"

"Achoo~ Achoo~"

"Who's Achoo?"

"I mean I'm freezing, you idiot!"

"Go get a heater!"

"With so many people, one heater… won't be enough, right?"

"Yeah, not enough. But we only have one, nothing we can do~"

"Only one heater… and you're giving it to me? I'm so touched, please forgive me, Kojiro! I was rude to you just now!"

"You're forgiving me too soon, Kenji! The heater is for the lead actress, not for you, idiot!"

"What?! Idiot! I'm about to freeze to death here!"

"Hey! You there!"

"Me?"

"Yeah, you! Stop staring and get over here!"

"What is it, director?"

"I need you as an extra. In a minute, put on the armor and jump from there to there. Can you do it?"

"No problem, director! I'll risk my life if I have to!"

"Really?"

"Of course I mean it!"

"Mean it? You just want to warm up! Go to hell! Get changed now!"

While the crew was busy, Kakashi and the others heard the noise and came out of the cabin.

"Wow, that's a huge iceberg!"

Sakura stared at it in shock. "Is this the Land of Snow?"

"No. It's just an iceberg drifting at sea. The Land of Snow is still a ways from here," Kakashi said.

"Really? How do you know so much about it, Kakashi-sensei? Have you been there before?" Sakura asked curiously.

"Yeah, a long time ago."

Kakashi nodded, then looked up at the sky.

He saw the message Naruto had left.

"Another one going off on his own… that guy Naruto…"

Kakashi felt a headache coming on from Naruto's reckless behavior during missions.

"Sakura, Sasuke, stay with Miss Yuki. I'll go find Naruto."

After saying that, he vanished in an instant.

At that moment, Sakura finally noticed the message in the sky.

Golden light had left a line of words in the sky: I'm ahead on that iceberg~

"Words in the sky?"

That surprised her almost as much as the iceberg itself.

Just as she wanted to look at those glowing words a little longer, they disappeared as if confirming that they got the message!

Gone?

"Sakura!"

"Ah! Coming!"

...

Meanwhile, Naruto was sitting on top of the iceberg, quietly watching the crew working below.

He was also keeping an eye on Sakura and Kakashi.

"What are you doing here?" Kakashi appeared behind him and asked.

"Nothing much, just came to take a look and handle some trouble." Naruto replied without turning his head.

Kakashi could smell blood in the air. It was clear that while they were resting on the ship, Naruto had already taken care of the enemies here.

"Can you confirm who they were?" Kakashi asked.

"Looking at their headbands, they should be ninjas from the Land of Snow," Naruto said after thinking for a moment. "There were some dots on the headband."

"Dots? Then they must be from the Land of Snow…"

Kakashi looked Naruto up and down. "You're not hurt, right?"

"Have you ever seen me hurt?" Naruto asked back.

Indeed, he never had…

But on this mission to the Land of Snow, there was someone even he had to be careful of.

Yet even that person couldn't pose any threat to Naruto.

From the looks of it, he probably wasn't Naruto's match anymore.

"Was there someone named Roga Nadare among them?" Kakashi asked.

"No idea. They didn't even have time to talk before I took them out. I don't know their names," Naruto answered.

"..."

Kakashi stayed silent for a moment, then told Naruto to remember to leave with them later, and turned to go.

After this mission, he thought he'd better team up with other Chunin next time.

Teaming up with Naruto was just wasting the strength of a Jonin like him!

He didn't need to fight for even a second in this whole mission. It was like being on vacation!

With Konoha's current situation,

If they could free up one more Jonin, they could take on another A-rank or higher mission!

That would also ease the pressure on the village…

With the Will of Fire in his heart, Kakashi always thought from Konoha's perspective!

If Hiruzen Sarutobi were still alive, he would be proud.

Without the Land of Snow ninjas interfering, the filming went smoothly, but they couldn't capture that grand scene of Kakashi fighting enemy ninjas as originally planned!

The crew didn't know whether that was good or bad!

The next day,

the ship set sail again...
