Chapter 4 - Worldly tales or a bitter tale?

It was 50 years ago, at noon, everyone was part of strange and unnatural events. From aggressive climate changes to natural disasters. No one was able to know what was happening, being nicknamed (The Day of Judgment).

Taking countless lives, eventually, as if all the disasters had added up, they dealt a final blow until they slowly ceased. Just 5 minutes of tranquility, taking a deep breath, the people caught their breath as they watched their devastated world before their eyes.

the children cried, the adults screamed in pain among the rubble. Many were saved with their clothes torn, but the land was not as it once was. Peace ceased, and with one final tremor, the earth shook, stunning everyone. Several portals emerged suspended in the air, gigantic towers like skyscrapers were created, of all shapes, and countless monsters, beasts with grotesque appearances, emerged from them.

The people screamed in terror, ran, took refuge, some remained in panic, while others held onto that strong determination. All kinds of feelings, pain, shame, fear, courage, sadness, happiness... It made people awaken a very peculiar and powerful force.

Pain became a regenerative agent that healed wounds and reduced pain, shame turned into a hard rocky layer, fear awakened the madness in people, transforming them into wild animals filled with bloodlust and immense strength.

Courage, considered the dominant feeling, caused people to awaken extremely powerful and strange abilities, with a perfect balance between strength and defense. Sadness created strange atmospheres, from a heavy air to a suffocating one, as if it distorted reality. Happiness, the feeling that arose from those families who survived together, they had that feeling of protecting each other, and happiness made it a reality.

-Ahhh!

A girl screamed at the top of her lungs, escaping at a fast pace from a humanoid beast with giant blades in its hands, eyes sharp and bright as gems, walking persistently as if playing with the girl.

The girl kept running, entering one of the destroyed buildings, the wood could be dripping, the metals were broken, the window glass was scattered all over the place. She kept going and going... until her delicate feet could take no more.

Collapsing in a corner with all kinds of scratches, the girl had given up on everything. The humanoid beast approached with playful steps and a smiling expression, raising one of its blades, but before it could cut the girl, it was pushed by another person behind him.

—Daughter! I'm glad you're okay!

-Chaplain!

That man was the father. Once he pushed the humanoid beast away, he tightly embraced his daughter, tears of desperation streaming down his face. The feeling of family protection led him to find her and prevent an attack, but the emotion of finding his daughter was also strong. Ignoring the real problem afterward.

The humanoid beast rises and charges with its sharp knives. The father, realizing what was happening, couldn't move; he simply hugged his daughter tighter, lamenting not having done something sooner.

—N-No, please!—"At least leave my daughter alive..."

The man thought, lifting that feeling, Happiness, remembering his life with his daughter who accompanied him in everything, those scenes brightened his life, even if it was his end.

!!CRACK!!

A dry sound, as if a matchetee were trying to cut a stone. The blade was strangely avoided, while a dome with strange symbols surrounded the father. Enraging the humanoid beast and attacking consecutively.

The girl who was in the man's arms rejoiced in her gaze when she saw her father withstand the pressure of countless attacks. Sadness and helplessness were what she felt when her father hugged her tighter.

—S-sorry, father~ "I wish I could help in some way"

—A-And I will always protect you, daughter.

The attacks increased, the father seemed unable to hold on. He just looked at his daughter, and she returned his gaze.

—"I want to do something for you"— was the girl's monolog.

Valentia, it was what she felt at that moment, the desire to be able to do something, to be able to help. They went thru everything. Their mother abandoned them, their father's boss fired him, there was no money... but... they were happy.

The last thing she wanted was for her father to abandon her. I need to be strong to be able to change things…

The girl's eyes shone with an intense golden hue. Outside the dome, transparent knives with golden outlines surrounded them, which were then scattered with aggression the next moment. The humanoid beast intercepted them with its blades; however, other knives that seemed to be controlled dodged the miles of cuts, searching for an opening. Until they finally struck the head of the humanoid beast.

falling lifeless to the ground. It was that day when we understood that feelings not only made us human... they also made us powerful.

Humanity rose up, there were no differences or disputes among them, everyone was trying to do their best to free their world.

The war lasts 10 years. The insatiable monsters and beasts escaped to different parts of the world, humanity reclaimed its place. The portals were controlled by the people, the towers as well.

Returning peace, although with several notable changes. Humanity began its reconstruction once again, and thanks to their skills, they brought their former modern city back to life.

But what does that have to do with gender inequality? In the war, although everyone acted to save their world, there was a clear difference: the men were weak in their abilities, while the women pushed their limits.

Feelings will increase people's strength depending on how emotionally affected they were. Men used to control their emotions very well. Women, on the other hand, were more expressive and, in some cases, unstable, which allowed them to reach their full potential. Although there were men who also achieved similar power, they were not many.

When the war ended, several women protested under the pretext of superiority. What they had previously defended, such as protectionism for their gender or demands for more rights, they reformed and ignored. Becoming true dictators, threatening those who were against them with their strength and numbers.

They overthrew the positions of several male leaders and practically dominated the world politically. The civilizations went thru several political reforms. Among them, several scientists protested about the low numbers of humans on Earth and that there needed to be a more practical solution.

Polygamy was opened up to increase birth rates, but the reforms made it a polygamy of both genders. Although they accepted it, they did not expect women to dominate the relationships, and several reverse harems emerged. Except for those millionaires who could afford a harem.

Several rules were implemented along with the construction of the cities, among them, a word that will cause you problems, although not serious ones, they were problematic.

(Equality) The one who challenges their integrity.

With a grinding of teeth, the homemaker showed a devilish face. While from her outstretched hands, a strong gust of wind gathered like a whirlwind between her hands.

Swirling pink flowers in the wind and in a tempest, it hit the ground like a wave against the shore rocks.

The Thunderous attack came toward me, but the officer with his extravagant sunglasses jumped in front of me, stretching his arms to the side like a shield. From his chest, a rocky wall emerged, which was struck by the whirlwind.

The attack ceased, spreading a pink mist; however, the officer was exhausted. Upon realizing the atmosphere, he covered his face and screamed.

—Get out of here!

Her companion heard it and shot a vine at the hands of the homemaker, depriving her of any movement.

—Let me go, you know that shouldn't be said!

—I know, miss, but there are better ways to behave; the actions you are taking are dangerous.

When the officer finished speaking, the homemaker closed her mouth and frowned.

The dispersed mist caused the other officer who had inhaled a bit to collapse. While I, unable to cover myself because my hands were handcuffed, had not been affected at all. Surprising the homemaker.

...That very afternoon.

I was standing in front of a desk in the offices of a police station, the secretary was browsing on the computer without even looking at me.

The silence was clear, only the sound of the air conditioning and the printer could be heard, along with the striking clatter of the keyboard.

The secretary moved the pupils of his eyes and looked at me in surprise.

—How long have you been standing there?

—...almost 30 minutes.

...The secretary was left with a blank stare, adjusted his glasses, and began searching thru the boxes on his desk, pulling out a form to fill out.

—Could you please provide your name?

The secretary asked with a pen in hand.

"What could I say? I don't know what this body I'm in is called."

I remained silent, without any response, the secretary took a small breath and asked another question.

—Any last name or place of residence?

His tone of voice worsened, but what could he say to him? The secretary lifted his glasses and rubbed his eyes, revealing his stressful position.

—Look, if you are not able to provide me with the necessary information, I will have to take necessary actions.

—That won't be necessary!

With a desperate shout thru the front door, a person approached. He had a basic appearance, nearing his thirties, with worn blonde hair and an average physique.

—And who are you?

The secretary asked with a tired look.

—I am the father of this young man.

—!!!

"¡W-What!"
