Chapter 42 - The children ask Ahmed(part43)

After many amusing and failed attempts at pronouncing the Arabic letters, the children sat panting from laughter and effort, but with eyes full of curiosity and wonder. The oldest child among them approached, looked at Ahmed with wide, innocent eyes, and asked with a respectful curiosity:

Oldest child: "Ahmed-niisan (Brother Ahmed), is the Arabic language very difficult?"

Ahmed smiled a soft, warm smile and sat down quietly among the children, his eyes carrying great tenderness. He said to them in Japanese, in a calm and clear voice, so they would understand him well:

Ahmed: "The Arabic language is not difficult, my little friends. Every language has its own beauty and its own challenges. It just takes practice and patience."

He added, as he looked at their eager small faces: "The Arabic language is beautiful and rich, and it is part of another sky—the sky of my country, Yemen. Just as I learned Japanese over time, anyone can learn any language they love and feel passionate about."

Ahmed continued explaining to them: "Every language has its sounds and words that make it unique, and learning a new language means opening a door to a new world full of understanding, culture, and knowledge."

He raised his hand, as if placing a small promise in their hands: "Do not despair if you find something difficult, because perseverance makes everything possible. And I promise you that I will help you and teach you more next time."

The children smiled again, as if they had been inspired by new courage, and they began to look forward with longing to the next meetings, where they would together experience the adventure of learning a language and new friendships.
