Few hours later
I don't know what time it was but I was starving before I could say anything my stomach growled loudly. He looked up at me and laughed,it was so embarrassing.
"What do you wanna eat." He asked,picked up his phone and ordered what I wanted then what he wanted. When he was done,we were in akward silence.
"I need to use the bathroom." I used that as an excuse.
Before I could go,he caught my hand.
"There a bathroom in there,use that one instead." He said.
"Ohh, okay." I went in,I stayed longer than usually cause I didn't want that akward silence.
When I came out,it seemed like he was sleeping,so I decided to get to scattered papers,I was almost done just remaining a few but the problem was it was on the desk in front of him. I took the risk, went over and picked it up, when I thought I had succeed,I felt his hands around my waist and before I knew it I was on his lap.
"What are you doing." I said feeling my face heating up.
"Nothing." He said innocently.
I tried standing up but he pulled me down.
"Stay still or I will kiss you." He said making me freeze by instinct.
"You're so cute when you blush." He complimented while caressing my left cheek.
Then came a knock on the door
"Come in." He said,I didn't want anyone to see us like this but he wouldn't let me go." I prepared for the worst, but it was just the delivery man.
"Sir, your delivery." He said placing it on the table and left.
He finally let me go, I took it out and placed it in front of him out of instinct.
"Sir." I said passing him the food, but he took my hand.
"Diamen, the name is diamen, don't call me sir, okay?" He asked
"Okay sir.". I responded forgetting what he just said. He gave me that look, I quickly corrected myself.
"Okay, diamen and thanks for the food." I said.
"My name sounds sounds nice coming from you." He said. It brought the colors back to my cheeks,I didn't reply just dug into the food.
"The taste was really good." I thought. I complement a good food when I see one.
"Your face." He said laughing a little.
"Huh." I said confused.
He took some serviettes and cleaned my face up.
"Ohh, thank you." I said.
He leaned closer and pecked me on the lips.
I smiled unconsciously. After we finished eating we went back to our work.
"When is this going to end." I groaned,I needed a break. I stopped for a while and leaned back,then my phone rang,it was james guess he got my message already:
"Hmmm, what do you want." I said with a cold voice but I knew I was shaking inside.
"You bitch,why did you withdraw the flight ticket." He asked with a seemingly angry voice.
"Ohh, you found out already anyways that's our break up gift and don't ever call this number again." I said cutting the call before he had anything to say. I feel lighter now but I was still sad that I was used and determined to get my revenge.
"Guess it's the guy from yesterday that made you drinkyour self away." Diamen asked.
"Yeah, thanks again for last night." I said.
"No problem, but remember I'm your responsibility now." He said with a smile of victory.
End of work came quick, I was packing my stuffs to leave.
"Diamen, I'm leaving." I said
"Okay, remember come early to work tomorrow." He said.
I nodded and left. I waited for close to thirty minutes I couldn't see a cab.
Then a pass me, thinking it was a cab I waved it down luckily it stopped and the car window rolled down. It was diamen
"Having anything trouble, come in I will drop you off." He said. I thought about it,I wasn't seeing any cab and it was late and risky for me so I hupped in. He asked for my address.
We got to my house,he accompanied me to the front door.
"Umm, thank you." I said.
"Welcome." I said.
" Would you like to come in for tea." I asked.
"Ohh, I would like to." He came in.
I haven't been here since, yesterday,I sighed, went to the kitchen to prepare the tea, I came out a few minutes with two cups of tea.
I gave him one and he thanked me.
"So, what were you doing at the club yesterday." He asked suddenly making me burn my tongue. I went to the fridge to get ice with my tongue out. Putting the ice on my tongue I returned to the living room.
"I'm sorry,if you don't want to talk about don't worry about it." He said with a serious expression.
"No, it's okay,I guess I can tell you since you saved me last night." Do I began the story when I was done I was a sobbing mess.
"Sorry for getting to emotional." I said with a smile. Then he put his hands around me for a hug making me to cry more.
When I was done his suit was stained with tears.
"Sorry." I said trying to get it off.
"It's okay." He said with a warm smile. Before I could say anything his phone rang:
"Yes.....oh okay,I will be there in five." He said. I guess he had to go.
"Sorry, I have to go, something came up." He said.
"Ohh okay." I said walking him to the door,as he was about to go,I grabbed his sleeves
"Diamen,thank you." I said shyly.
" You're welcome." He said with a smile and ruffled my hair. He left and I closed the door and leaned on it my heart was beating so fast.
