Jay's POV:
I walked into Watson and estate and confetti slapped my face. Ahhh, lovely.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
I'm gonna beat these kids up. One of them seriously threw the entire party popper. My nose started bleeding. Keifer and the others rushed towards me as I whined,
"WHO THE FUCK DID THAT??"
"Are you okay? Does it hurt? Should I get my nurse?" Keifer questioned me.
He didn't say profanity? He's not that shameless anymore? Is this even Keifer?
"I'm fine, just get me a bandage."
"Someone get her a bandage" he ordered.
One of his maids ran forward and gave it to Keifer. He applied it onto my nose.
"This better not leave a scar on my baby sistah's lovely face" Percy walked through the door.
"Why are you here? Did you even get invited" I squinted my eyes.
"Your boyfriend let us come here, since it's your birthday celebration" Percy told me, as Aries also came and pulled up.
"How many times have I told you, my sister is nobody's girlfriend!"
Aries and section E don't have the best relationship, but Keifer still decided to invite him for me.
I looked around and saw around 20 whiteboards gathered on a white couch.
"What's that for?" I pointed towards the site.
"We're playing a game"
"What game?"
"Who knows you best"
"Me?!" I pointed towards myself.
"Yes, you. We thought it would be a good opportunity to get to know you better" Keifer held my hands and sat me down.
We all sat in a circle.
"You have the questions prepared?" I saw the list of questions on the table.
"We made them!" C-in, Felix and Percy shouted proudly.
These questions are about to be…interesting.
I bit my lip bracing myself for what was about to come.
"So here's how the game works for anyone who doesn't know how to play. Questions about Jay will be asked and everyone will write their answer on their whiteboard, the person with the most correct answers wins"
I nodded and we started.
"#1, What is Jay's favorite sweet?"
I wrote down my answer and hid my board. Since Percy and Aries were also playing I was curious to see what they wrote.
"Reveal your boards!" Blaster dramatically announced.
We turned them around and every single person from Section E wrote down chocolate. Aries did too.
They looked at my board and their eyebrows raised,
"Caramel swirl with vanilla based ice cream?" Drew read my board out loud.
Percy was the only one who got it right.
"Don't you like chocolate?" David asked.
I sighed.
"I hate chocolate.."
"WHAT?" Aries shouted.
"Then why would you eat it?" Eman asked, confused.
"I never liked chocolate, but when I grew up I think it was on my 4th birthday, my mom got me a chocolate cake and I told her I didn't like it but she…she said I was being dramatic and shouldn't complain and be ungrateful..and after that everyone just assumed I liked it..so I didn't say anything…."
I could see their faces saddened.
"It's okay," I assured them.
"You should have told me" I heard Keifer mutter silently.
"I'm winning!" Percy shouted, changing the conversation.
"Moving on.., question number 2, What is Jay-Jay's favorite subject?"
I smiled and wrote it down.
"Flip your boards!"
No way half of them actually wrote lunch. Seriously? No one got it right except for Percy?!
"MATH?!" Drew shouted like I was an enemy.
"Don't even" I stopped him.
"Moving on from Jay-Jay's controversial opinions, Who is her favorite person?"
I wrote down Percy but erased it knowing I would offend someone. I re-wrote it with my name instead.
We turned around our boards and only Josh got it right. Makes sense, he hates me and acts if I'm narcissistic.
"Who's name did you erase?" Denzel teased.
"She erased a name?" Yuri asked.
"Yea"
Keifer tilted his head waiting for my answer.
"Can I lie?"
"No"
"Uh…-"
"It's me guys" Rory said proudly, making me laugh.
"No it's me" Felix pushed.
"Let her speak," Keifer demanded.
"...Percy"
I saw Percy's face light up.
"Not me?" Keifer said sadly.
"I love you more, but Percy is my favourite person sorry"
"Why?" Aries slowly asked.
"Because he was always there for me."
"What do you mean?!"
"Nevermind" I digressed, "Ask the next question"
I could feel the tension in the room.
"Not a question for the game but why did you decide to start your company at such a young age?"
"It was like an escape for me"
"From what?" C-in asked.
"From my life"
"Huh?"
"You could say it was one of my wills to live"
"..."
"Anyhowwwww, how many languages can Jay speak?" David asked.
Wow, way to switch the topic huh? But I digress. I can speak Japanese, Mandarin, English, Tagalog, Spanish, Korean, Cantonese, Malay, and Indonesian.
"Flip your boards!"
None of them got it right, not even Percy although he was close.
"My wife's so smart," Keifer praised.
He was right though. I am very smart.
"So you really were pretending to be stupid" Eman mumbled.
"How!?" Drew screamed.
"Well I spend my time making money and making business deals instead of trying to pay off someone else's debt" I teased, "Don't take that seriously, I learned it when I was a child"
"Last question, What sports does Jay play/do?"
Uhmmm. I gotta think for this. Volleyball, Ice skating, martial arts, badminton, and uhhh chess? Yeah that's good enough.
"And flip!"
"That's a lot" Aries commented.
"Are you good at it?" He asked.
"Yea" I nodded.
"It's time to cut the cake!"
We headed to the kitchen where there was practically a buffet of food. IT'S A VANILLA ICE CREAM CAKE?! YESSSSSSSSS!
"We missed the opportunity to ask for Jay's social security number and how much she makes" Drew being over dramatic and sad.
"I make more than Keifer"
"Oh actually?"
I stared at him in disbelief.
Does he think I'm lying or is he stupid.
Or did he not hear or listen when I said I surpassed Watson's group literally today. Even a goldfish has better memory than him. Maybe he's too caught in his debts.
"Where's the knife Keifer?" I asked him.
Suddenly, he grabbed my legs and carried me on his shoulder.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"You're a little short I'm helping you"
I grabbed the knife from the top cabinet. He probably kept it there because of Keigan
"Why aren't you putting me down?"
"Just stay there wifey"
Ehhh. Okay. Aries was staring at us though.
"You're lucky I won't kill you on my sister's birthday"
"Thanks brother in law"
Aries rolled his eyes and sat down.
"Someone get the camera, we need to record this!"
Edrix set up his camera and everyone got in frame as they started to sing,
"Happy birthday to youuuu! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!~"
I cut the cake and gave the first slice to C-in. He looked desperate. By the way, the singing was horrendous. It was burning my ears. I cut 4 more for me, Keifer, Percy and Aries because I knew the ulupongs would fight after that. I took a bite and sat down as everyone slithered like snakes to get their piece. The cake was really big and wasn't too sweet, which was nice.
"Do you like it wifey?"
"Mhm"
"Good," he said, leaning in and kissing me.
I broke the kiss and he pouted.
"What was that for?"
"Your profanity earlier"
He really counts.
"Are you happy?" Percy asked me seriously.
I thought about it for a hot 30 seconds.
"...yeah."
"Stay that way baby sistah!" He returned to his normal, teasing self.
"He's right, stay like that" Aries agreed.
"Aww, my baby agrees with me" Percy teased, hugging Aries.
Aries immediately pushed him off and went,
"Ewwww"
"Do you not like me anymore baby!?" Percy asked sadly.
"I never did!"
"Aww, my baby's lying now!"
I giggled and looked over to the ulupongs who were still fighting over cake.
This is what feels like home to me. No. It is my home.
