Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 0.2

The Age of Awakening

In the years after the fall of the Ancient Ones and the vanishing of the Chosen Hero, the world did not return to peace. Though the worst of the invasions had been held back, the scars left behind birthed something new — an era where power was no longer just inherited or trained, but awakened.

At the age of 16 or 18, every human faces a moment of truth — their Soul Resonance. It is in this moment that their beast-type ability manifests. Some awaken as lions, some as wolves, others as creatures drawn from myth and fiction. It is not based on lineage, but on the core essence of the individual's soul — their instincts, trauma, and drive. A coward may awaken as a rat or mimicry fox, while a born protector may awaken as a rhino, bear, or dragon-type.

But awakening alone does not guarantee survival.

Human Awakener Rankings:

The strength of Awakened humans is categorized into tiers based on spiritual pressure, combat potential, and transformation level:

HUMAN POWER RANKING SYSTEM (Detailed Tier Format)

F-Rank – Minor Awakening Tier

F Bronze → F Silver → F Gold

Weakest but awakened.

Basic traits like:

Enhanced smell

Weak aura sensing

Slightly tougher skin

Producing sparks or heat

E Rank Tier(slightly stronger than F Rank)

D-Rank (Beginner Tier)

D Bronze → D Silver → D Gold

Basic combat training level. Civilians with minimal power.

C-Rank (Novice Tier)

C Bronze → C Silver → C Gold

Entry-level fighters, usually basic weapon/artifact users.

B-Rank (Skilled Tier)

B Bronze → B Silver → B Gold

Experienced combatants. May be squad leaders or academy seniors.

A-Rank (Elite Tier)

A Bronze → A Silver → A Gold

Talented fighters with unique abilities. Capable of handling missions solo. Often guild officers or top students.

S-Rank (Advanced Tier)

S Bronze → S Silver → S Gold

Only a few reach this stage. National-level threats. Respected worldwide.

SS-Rank (Legendary Tier)

Only accessible to those who reach Legendary S Gold, then ascend.

Fighters here are considered one-in-a-million. Heroes, Apostles, or feared criminals.

Their actions can change the course of wars or even nations.

SSS-Rank (Mythical/Transcendent Tier — [RARE])

Not officially recognized by all institutions.

These are beings bordering on inhuman: their power is divine, apocalyptic, or world-ending.

Hallow Classifications:

These monstrous entities — twisted and born from chaos — began appearing in the second wave of the invasion. Not all Hallows are mindless beasts; some evolve intelligence.

Their threat level is ranked as follows:

Feral-Class – Low-level threats. Common in rural zones. Mindless and animalistic.

Savage-Class – More dangerous. Enhanced strength and limited abilities. Small towns are often wiped out by a single one.

Nightmare-Class – Strategic, intelligent, and highly destructive. Capable of speech, illusions, or devastating power. Require team efforts to defeat.

Cataclysm-Class – Entire cities fall under their shadow. Only Gold or Mystical-ranked humans working together have ever survived encounters.

Abyssal-Class (Restricted Knowledge) – A class rumored to be behind the mass disappearances of old human nations. Their presence distorts reality

Side Note:

Berserker Pill:

"It grant's Powerful boost of Power... but it costs your mind."

A forbidden stimulant developed during the early wars. Swallowing this pill floods the body with beast aura, forcibly pushing the user one rank higher temporarily. It allows even a Bronze-ranked to punch like a Silver… or a Gold to clash with the Mystical.

But the price is high:

Causes nerve damage and soul fracturing.

Extended use leads to madness, loss of control, or even irreversible transformation into a Rogue Beast.

Still used in secret among rogue factions or desperate last stands.

Sync Stone:

The relic of harmony. Unlike the Berserker Pill, the Sync Stone promotes unity over violence. By merging two compatible users — regardless of beast type — they become something more:

Mind, aura, and instinct become one.

Temporary hybrid abilities can be formed.

Shared stamina, reflexes, and even memory flashes.

However, a failed sync can result in brain damage, spiritual collapse, or internal backlash.

Only those with true emotional or spiritual bonds can use it safely — siblings, lovers, blood-sworn comrades… or fate-bound strangers.
