Chapter 1 - Chapitre 1

Kaelen Morhart sat in his luxurious palace, calmly sipping tea after a heated debate in the virtual forums. A man had just tried to provoke him, mocking his ideas about political systems. But Kaelen had remained calm. Patience, after all, is the greatest virtue.

He had tried explaining his argument: "Even if we vote for a representative, it's just another version of monarchy. A temporary king. It allows elites to control everything from behind the curtain." The man, frustrated that Kaelen wouldn't lose his temper, resorted to insults and left the forum.

Kaelen closed the discussion channel and stood up to stretch. "Time for some tea," he muttered.

As he took a sip, something felt off. A sharp pain surged through his body, like an electric shock—but it wasn't death. He was being transported.

When he opened his eyes, everything was different. The scent of rot, the cries of merchants, the clink of hooves—he was standing in a medieval village, where magic seemed to govern life and science was nowhere to be seen. The world looked dirty, brutal, and strange.

Suddenly, a translucent blue window appeared before his eyes. It read:

"Change the world with your vision. Whether it becomes a utopia or dystopia... that choice is yours."

Kaelen blinked. "Did I just transmigrate… like in the fantasy novels I read when I was young?"

He tried to wave the message away. Nothing happened. So, he started walking through the village.

Everyone stared at him. He looked down and realized—of course. His clothing. No one here wore synthetic fiber robes with nanostitching.

And the smell… horrific.

A knight approached him. "From which lord's domain do you come, noble one?"

Kaelen hesitated. He couldn't tell them the truth. So, he picked the most absurd noble-sounding name he could think of: "Leonheart."

The knight flinched. Only a madman would dare impersonate the Leonheart family—one of the strongest in the kingdom.

"S-Sir Leonheart… what brings you to our humble domain?" the knight stammered.

Kaelen raised an eyebrow. "How dare you question me? I demand an audience with your lord at once."

The knight bowed immediately and escorted him toward the castle.
