Chapter 11 - Attacking The Second Floor - 1

Fredrick cleaned the blood off his hands using a cloth provided by William. He gave the knife back to him and looked at the unconscious guy infront of him.

His face was terribly mutilated by countless fresh scars that continuously released blood in trails. One of his eyes was also missing from his eye sockets, and now only a gaping hole accompanied the other one.

Fredrick continued staring at his former bully with a satisfied expression on his face. Then he glanced at Beta and said.

"Give it."

Beta lingered for a moment before pulling a bag that was behind him and taking a vial of dark red liquid-blood. He passed it to Fredrick, gently like passing a dangerous, damaged high explosives.

Fredrick received it with a nod and opened its lid. He then took an empty syringe, he received from William and filled its tube with the dark red blood.

Fredrick brought it to the level of his eyes and lightly tapped the syringe with his fingernail before walking toward his former bully.

He put the bottle away. Then, under the guidance of William, he located a blood vessel and injected the blood through the guy's neck.

Fredrick emptied the entire tube of the syringe before sighing and putting it away, and taking a few steps back.

He turned toward William and asked. "How much time does it take?"

William stared at the guy for a moment before saying.

"I don't know...a couple of hours or a day."

Fredrick glanced at him and said in a neutral tone.

"I hope it's the latter."

He then shook his head energetically and said to all the soldiers gathered there.

"Get ready. We are going to lay siege to the second floor."

***

"Bang"

A round bullet flew through the air at high speed and struck the ground in front of a still walker. The bronze bullet reflected the scorching sunlight for a moment before drilling into the ground.

After that, another bullet flew through the air at high speed and struck the leg of the same walker without doing anything lethal.

"Shit"

Fredrick cursed as he lowered the Glock 19 he was holding and put it on the wooden table beside him.

William, who was beside him, took the gun and reloaded it before putting it on the table again and saying.

"There is nothing to be dispirited about, General. Every rookie who uses a gun has to follow these exact steps and fail multiple times before hitting the real target they aimed for."

Fredrick listened to his soldier with a sour look on his face. Then he looked at the zombie who was wearing a formal black tuxedo that he had failed to kill.

He stared at the zombie for a moment before lighting a cigarette and smoking it.

"You don't have to tell me, William, because I know exactly what you meant. The thing is that I am not in a situation similar to the other people...I don't have time to fail multiple times."

"I don't know when I will get ambushed like that again, and when the next time I get ambushed, I have to be ready."

He took a deep drag out of the cigarette for a moment before turning toward William.

"Get ready, I am going to summon them."

William and the other four soldiers beside him nodded. All of them were armed to the brim with Glock-19s and M16S that exuded an aura of death.

Unlike before, he can use the excuse of getting the guns from the supplies brought by the two soldiers if the students see his soldiers with guns.

Well, he didn't have to do that as well since Chloe was going to be the one to take care of the students.

The other four, except for William, went outside of the classroom toward the two tenth-grade classrooms to make sure that none of the students would do anything rash while the new soldiers attacked the second floor.

Fredrick sighed for a moment and turned around. Then he opened his system and examined it for a moment before summoning anything.

There were two kinds of military personnel, multiple types of guns and other military items available in the shop right now.

Unlike the last time, he wasn't going to arm his soldiers cheaply. Since he had over 7230 tokens in his arsenal, he was going to arm them to the brim.

Fredrick obtained these 7230 tokens from today's zombie shooting he did today. After yesterday's shooting, three times the number of zombies had started to move toward the school, which was a little concerning, but was a great boon to the amount of tokens Fredrick had.

After killing nearly ninety per cent of the zombies in the school compound, there were a handful of zombies left that could pose a threat to them.

But the first floor of the building Fredrick was in was filled to the brim with hundreds of zombies, and he wanted the system's help to clear them out.

He scrolled through the system panel and chose the things he wanted.

He chose fifteen assault riflemen and fifteen M16S for them to use. One assault rifleman was 100 tokens, and one M16 was 150 tokens.

After that, he chose five shotgun wielders and 5 Stevens 320 field-grade shotguns. 1 shotgun wielder was 200 coins while 1 Stevens 320 field grade was 300 coins.

After that, he used the remaining token to buy five grenades and ammo suited for the guns he wanted. A grenade is 100 tokens, a pouch full of M16 bullets(45) was only 15 tokens, while a pouch of shotgun bullets(25) was 30 tokens.

After all of it ended, he only had a measly amount of 105 tokens left.

He sighed and turned toward the school compound.

He stretched his two hands out and stared intensely at a clear spot before a golden cloud started to appear in the middle of it.

One by one, soldiers dressed in olive combat uniforms started to appear one by one with M16S in their hands. Some of them had one full pouch containing extra ammo.

A few soldiers who had different appearances from the rest appeared as well. They wore the same combat uniform, but they were muscular and robust than the others. They, on the other hand, held deadly 1 Stevens 320 field grade shotguns in their hands that could blast a walker into smithereens.

The soldiers appeared one by one through the golden cloud and landed on the ground before staring into Fredrick's eyes for a moment.

Fredrick was about to summon a walkie-talkie next to the one in the front when he suddenly nodded and gave a salute. After that, all of them started to advance toward the first floor of the building while killing the zombies that got too close.

Fredrick was shocked. He stared intently at the group of soldiers for a moment before thinking.

"How the hell did they know that I wanted to attack the second floor?"
