CHAPTER 40: A SHADOW CHANGES LIFE.
Adrián was at an atrocious disadvantage, both masked men were very powerful.
Her powerful auras made her eyes hurt just by looking at them, and if it weren't for the mask, her eyes would have exploded just by looking at them.

Even if he spent his most time studying, he had never forgotten to train his body. But against these two guys, Adrian had little choice.

The two mists followed Adrian's orders and did not allow the other masked man to move. The masked man knew that he could not leave these cursed beings on his own either, they were the real danger.
Adrian struggled to remain conscious, that blow was devastating, if it was before, he would have died no matter how hard he tried, but now he had survived.
However, his body was a mess. The masked woman approached him, and lifted him up, holding his neck.
"Aghh...!" – Adrian could feel how his cold and pale fingers embedded themselves in his throat, while preventing the passage of air to his lungs, causing his skin and face to turn blue.
Adrian knew that this was his end, or at least that's what he felt, his body had suffered irreparable wounds, which hurt too much.
But at that moment, the master cabin door opened.
From the door, Bai Guoer came out, who looked at Adrian in such a state.
"Big brother what's going on?" – But, in all this chaos, the person Adrian hoped wouldn't show up arrived.
That was Bai Guoer. Even though Adrian wanted to say something, his throat was flooded with blood.
If I didn't do something soon, I'd be dead.
"And to think that that girl would get out easily, that cabin had many restrictions, it's really lucky for us," said the masked woman, while moving her tentacles towards Adrian, wanting to end her life.
But just as he was about to be cornered, a small dagger was thrown at the masked woman.
The dagger passed like a streak of light, but for a being of his power, it was nothing, he simply moved one of his tentacles and the dagger was destroyed.
"Don't hurt my elder brother!" – That dagger was thrown by Bai Guoer, who saw the state Adrian was in, so he attacked to save him.
Seeing that he did nothing, more daggers were taken out of his pockets, a total of twelve, he used his strength to throw them all with overwhelming power.
Each one could easily pierce the iron, but in the face of the tentacles of that masked woman, they were of no use.
Bai Guoer was trained by her mother, who specialized in murder.

He wanted to order his two mists to move away from the first masked man and kill the other, but the sword prevented them from moving, while also preventing the masked man from moving, they were in a stalemate.
This was too dangerous a situation, after all, Adrian didn't mind trying his luck with his life, but did he really care about Bai Guoer? That is what he wondered.
While the daggers were shattered with ease, Bai Guoer didn't mind attacking with everything she had, while the masked woman approached in front of her.
"You really are an irritable brat" – said the masked woman, while with her arm, lifting Bai Guoer by the neck, she moved her tentacles towards Bai Guoer's arms and legs immobilizing him.
But for some reason Bai Guoer smiled as he saw his elder brother.
When Adrian looked at her, he knew he wouldn't stand something happening to him.
Adrian knew that he had no other option, so with what was left of his strength, he moved his right arm, it was an unbearable pain, after all his bones were broken as much as he could, however, he managed to point his finger at the masked woman.
She noticed Adrian's actions, but didn't care, she just mocked him.
"Wow, still pointing at me with that body, really this girl must be very important to you, let's see how much she can resist" – said the masked woman mocking Adrian, soon began to squeeze Bai Guoer's limbs with great force.
Bai Guoer didn't want to scream, but the pain was unbearable.
"Come on, shout for me!" – said the masked woman, trying to put more strength, while breaking her bones.
But at that moment, a purple aura imperceptible to everyone came out of Adrian's eyes.
Imperceptible to everyone, except for heaven and earth. Which could feel all the changes, if Adrian could look at the Demon's Face, he could see that it, at this moment, was smiling.
Suddenly the sky began to fill with a purple color as if it had always been, a whole landscape full, as if even the sun had changed color, but only those who were on the Boat could feel that suddenly a horrific aura came down to this place.
"What's wrong?!" – the masked man wondered, taking several steps backwards throwing Bai Guoer to the side, such an aura made her feel intense fear.
The other masked man also felt that something had changed, so he used his sword to try and get rid of the two curses, but he couldn't, the two curses, now they were trying their best to contain him, this change made him suspect that something bad was going to happen.
But the next moment. Adrian who could barely speak, and was struggling not to lose consciousness. He said a few words from a distance.
