Mina gently pushed the wheelchair and brought Duyen toward the nearby bathroom. Strangely enough, it was designed completely open—an exposed-style bath with a transparent glass door. Even the toilet stall, though separated, could still be seen from outside. And the shower area itself, while luxurious and spotless, was… far too revealing.
Duyen already felt overwhelmed with embarrassment, but Mina had brought her here; there was nowhere left to run.
She shot Mina a hesitant glance and found the girl smiling back at her, calm and sweet. Mina opened the glass door without hesitation and pushed the wheelchair into the spacious room.
Before Duyen could say a word, Mina immediately lunged in to undress her—fast, almost urgent. Duyen panicked and stopped her.
"Mina! Wait!"
Mina blinked at her with innocent confusion, as if she had done absolutely nothing wrong, while Duyen's face burned red.
"Why? I'm going to bathe you anyway. What's there to be embarrassed about between us?"
Duyen clenched her teeth. Mina wasn't wrong, technically, but she was mortified all the same. She whispered softly:
"I can take my clothes off by myself… You just need to turn around for a moment."
Those words didn't calm Mina at all. Instead, something inside her shifted—something sharp and unpleasant. She had gone this far, and yet Duyen was still rejecting even this small act of help?
The smile on Mina's face went out like a dying candle. Her eyes hardened—cold, jealous, nearly chilling as she hissed:
"…But you can walk around naked at home with Shigonami Shana, and that's fine? Just not with me?"
That look on Mina's face froze Duyen in place. A shiver ran down her spine; her whole body trembled. She hurriedly tried to explain:
"No, that's—That's not what you think!"
"Not what I think, huh?"
Mina let out a low, bitter laugh.
"Don't assume I don't know what you two were doing behind those four walls. But whether she exists or not means nothing to me now. I'm willing to overlook all of that. Du Dinh Duyen, you're mine now. So you'll listen to me. You'd better not make me angry… or else even your arms…"
A violent chill shot through Duyen.
Was Mina seriously threatening to harm her arms too? But when she looked into Mina's eyes—those eyes that were not joking—she knew Mina absolutely meant it.
Duyen trembled uncontrollably. Her mind blanked out; all she could stammer was.
"Don't… please don't, Mina…"
Hearing her shaky voice, Mina's gaze finally softened again. She cupped Duyen's cheek tenderly—though even that gentle touch made Duyen flinch as if pricked by a needle.
"…Then be good, okay? As long as you obey me—pamper me—I'll give you anything you want. From now on, I'll take care of bathing you. If you need to use the toilet, you tell me. We have to stay together at all times. The doctor said so, got it?"
Duyen had no idea what "doctor" Mina was talking about. Everything the girl said sounded utterly unreasonable—but she had no way to resist. She bit her lip as Mina's slender hands began undressing her slowly, methodically, until the last piece of fabric slipped away.
Mortified beyond belief, Duyen instinctively tried to cover her chest, but Mina swatted her hands aside.
Then Mina leaned against the glass door, staring at her from head to toe with an intoxicated, wild gleam. She smiled and lightly wet her lips.
"God, Duyen… just look at yourself. You're beautiful…"
But Duyen couldn't say a word. Her throat wouldn't work—as if it had simply given up. Mina didn't mind at all; in fact, she seemed pleased.
The more shattered Duyen's composure became, the more Mina's presence filled her mind.
With that thought, Mina began undressing herself as well, completely, right in front of Duyen's stunned eyes.
"Mina! Why are you—?"
Mina didn't bother answering. Once fully undressed, she extended her arms slightly as if showing herself off—only to notice Duyen turning her face away. A flicker of irritation flashed across her features. She grabbed Duyen's chin and forced her to look.
"Ah!"
"Duyen… open your eyes. Look at me."
With no choice, Duyen looked. Mina's body was slender and pale—graceful like a dancer—paired with a strikingly beautiful face. She truly was a once-in-a-thousand-years kind of beauty.
The sight made Duyen blush fiercely.
Seeing Duyen finally look at her, Mina couldn't hide her delight. Her legs rubbed together restlessly, as though an itch beneath her skin refused to be ignored.
Then she suddenly lunged forward and kissed Duyen again and again. She sucked Duyen's lips and licked them continuously. Her hands also started to fondle Duyen frantically. Fast and eager.
Before Duyen could protest, the force of it all made the wheelchair tip backward.
"Ah!"
Mina's weight pressed down on her—yet even then, Mina didn't stop. She kissed down Duyen's neck, her breath hot and uneven as she moved lower—
"Mina! Wait—just wait a second!"
Mina finally paused, still breathless, still utterly consumed by whatever burning devotion she felt for Duyen. She stared down at her, smiling dazedly.
"Oh… right. Bathing you. I forgot."
A little later, Mina and Duyen were sharing a warm, foamy bath together. The bubbles rose high enough to cover almost their whole bodies. Duyen sat tucked inside Mina's arms, still and silent, staring blankly at the surface of the water while Mina gently washed her from behind—soft, attentive, and far too intimate. Mina pressed herself close, closer than necessary, as if she wanted the two of them to melt into a single shape. Her face showed nothing but satisfaction, while Duyen looked the complete opposite.
Mina began talking in a dreamy, almost drunken tone as her hands moved lazily along Duyen's pointy chest.
"Do you still remember us… eight years ago?"
Duyen didn't respond. She didn't even look up. But Mina kept going.
"The truth is… I've always known you liked me, Duyen."
That made Duyen flinch slightly. She tried to move, but Mina's arms wrapped around her chest tighter, bruises, holding her in place. Mina leaned in, her breath brushing against Duyen's ear.
"Duyen… I knew you always watched me. From afar. Quiet, frozen, never saying anything… Do you know how long I waited for you to take one single step toward me?"
Her hands drifted lower, down between Duyen's legs and Duyen couldn't stop a shaky breath escaping her lips. Mina's words were painfully accurate… and with her body pressed so close, every second felt overwhelming.
Mina fingers traced slow circles against her, and Duyen's breathing grew more uneven. Mina nipped at her ear possessively and whispered, almost blaming:
"You know, I still think about it… If you had confessed a little earlier—before that bastard Valko proposed that engagement—I might have run away with you. I could've thrown everything away. Just you and me… But you were always so shy, so hesitant… And I loved that about you, Duyen. I loved everything about you. But do you know something? You hurt me too."
"Mina…" Duyen tried to steady her voice. "Stop… please…"
But Mina didn't listen. She treated Duyen's trembling breaths like music. Her fingers moved in and out faster.
"Duyen… You know exactly what I went through to get here. Four years—four years stolen from us. You have no idea what those years were like for me. But now I finally have you. Dao won't even look at me anymore, my family is terrified of me… and I don't care. I don't care about any of it! Duyen… I only want you."
She lowered her head onto Duyen's shoulder, giving it a small, desperate bite. Her voice broke into a whisper.
"…Please don't leave me again. Okay?"
The bathwater rippled around them as Duyen struggled to catch her breath when she orgasms. The moment stretched long, heavy, intoxicating. She could barely speak when she finally managed to say:
"Mina…"
Mina lifted her hand above the water, her fingers glistening, and brought them to her lips. Duyen could only gasp for air, her thoughts scattering. Every word Mina had said kept echoing in her mind.
When they finally left the bath, Mina didn't let Duyen dress herself. She simply dried her off slowly, carefully, and set her into a wheelchair before pushing her straight to the dining room, still naked.
There, a perfectly arranged steak dinner waited—candles, chocolates, red decorations. Romantic to an almost unnerving degree. Duyen was sure she had seen something like this somewhere before.
When she reached for the utensils, Mina stopped her. Mina picked up the knife and fork herself, cutting the steak into small pieces and bringing the first one to Duyen's lips.
"Say ahhh."
Duyen had no choice but to obey. She opened her mouth, letting Mina feed her like a child. And it wasn't just the feeding—Mina's free hand wandered over her casually, shamelessly, while Duyen sat there powerless.
"Mina… this isn't right…" Duyen whispered helplessly.
Mina leaned in, pretending not to hear.
"Hm? What was that?"
"Mina… I don't think you should keep me like this…"
Mina heard it—but ignored it completely. She picked up a glass of milk, and instead of giving it to Duyen, she drank it herself. Before Duyen could question anything, Mina suddenly cupped her face and kissed her—transferring the milk from her mouth to Duyen's.
"Mmm!?"
Duyen closed her eyes tightly, enduring the flow of milk pouring into her mouth along with Mina's tongue. Until Mina finally pulled back. A thin thread of breath connected them.
"…Don't say things like that again, Duyen. Or I'll feed you by mouth tomorrow too."
Duyen fell silent.
A little while later, drowsiness washed over her so suddenly that Mina had to help her into bed. The moment Mina laid her down, Duyen's consciousness slipped away. Mina didn't seem surprised—she even smiled strangely. Then she slid under the blanket with Duyen, but her head was facing down.
---
The next "morning"—if it could even be called morning—Duyen woke up unsure of the time. The garden outside was surrounded by walls so high that no sunlight could reach her room. The only light came from artificial lamps, beautiful but eerie. Maybe that was why she always felt tired here.
She didn't know how long she had slept, but the sheets were damp under her. Mina was nowhere to be seen—maybe she was busy.
"Damn it…"
Duyen tried moving her legs even though she knew it was nearly impossible. But this time—miraculously—her toes moved.
Her eyes widened. Warmth tingled down her legs again. Whatever Mina had done to paralyze her… it was wearing off.
Excited, she tried getting out of bed. She managed to swing her legs over the side—but the moment she stood, she collapsed onto the floor. Startled, she glanced at the door.
No Mina. Good.
Using all her strength, she pushed herself up and took a few clumsy, painful steps. After a long struggle, she reached the cabinet. She leaned on it, exhausted but determined.
She opened the drawers—and froze.
Inside were syringes. Orange pills. And a medical report.
Her heart dropped.
She picked up the paper, noticing Mina's name printed at the top. Another sheet slipped out—an X-ray image. Duyen lifted it with trembling hands.
She read aloud, voice barely a whisper:
"General Hospital… Obstetrics and Gynecology… Patient: Kamakiri Mina… Diagnosis… ectopic pregnancy?"
Her breath hitched.
"…Fertilized egg implanted in the fallopian tube… critical condition… requires immediate intervention… signed by the hospital director… dated December 25th, 2034…"
Duyen stood frozen, unable to move. She nearly collapsed but forced herself to stay upright. Her mind refused to believe what she was reading.
"So all those four years… you went through something like this…"
She quietly placed the documents back into the drawer and closed it—as if she had never seen them at all.
---
On a night split open by terrifying thunder, rain poured relentlessly over the entire city of Startfall. On the rooftop of a towering skyscraper in the city center, two breathtakingly beautiful women stood facing each other in the downpour. Their clothes were shredded, torn apart by the ferocious battle they had just fought. Both of them were panting, exhausted, neither side having gained a decisive advantage.
Yu let out a mocking laugh.
"Nine-tailed fox… You've gotten so much weaker compared to two thousand years ago. It's like you're… unfinished."
Shana chuckled at the remark.
"Of course I am. I wouldn't dare compare myself to a… supreme goddess."
But the comment only aggravated Yu even more. Her eyes flashed with a burning red glow.
"Enough nonsense. Submit, nine-tailed fox! This time, I'm not letting you— khuk!"
Mid-sentence, Yu suddenly collapsed forward and vomited a violent gush of fresh blood.
Shana burst into laughter.
"What's wrong, Ama? First time using a human vessel, and you're not used to it?"
Yu tried to cover her mouth, but the pain surged uncontrollably through her entire body. Shana's expression turned cold.
"That fragile mortal body of yours won't last long. If you try to draw out any more of your power, her organs will burst."
Yu raised her head with difficulty. Her irises kept flickering from fiery red-orange to dull gray and back again—like something inside her was violently tearing itself apart.
"…But I have this."
Shana flipped her hand and revealed a strange vial.
"With this, you can keep that little human body you're inhabiting alive. But you'll have to tell me one thing in return."
Her eyes narrowed.
"Where is Mina keeping Duyen?"
