General Information

The Mana System – The EON System

The EON System is a complex magical framework made up of three interconnected components:

Aethon – vitality

Nomos – balance

Entropy – chaos

These elements interact dynamically, shaping magical outcomes and requiring practitioners to balance and harmonize them. The EON system governs the fundamental forces of nature and magic, defining the very structure of the world.

Inhabitants of the Realm

The realm is inhabited by four major races:

Humans – Versatile and resilient, with a high capacity for adaptability and innovation.

Dwarves – Sturdy and skilled, masters of craftsmanship, mining, and engineering. Typically dwell in mountainous regions.

Elves – Agile and perceptive, naturally attuned to nature and wielders of potent magic. Inhabit forests.

Thyridyn – Majestic and powerful, ancient beings of wisdom, mystery, and strength. Highly respected by all races.

The Devouring

A catastrophic event that begins when the first rift opens in the fabric of reality, unleashing a hunger that distorts and consumes space itself.

Effects:

Spatial Distortions – Reality forms chaotic voids and warps, swallowing people and matter.

Reality Fragmentation – Fragments of the Void Realm slip into the normal world, shattering logic and space.

The Void Realm

A lifeless wasteland devoid of vitality.

Conditions: Thin, highly polluted air, very little water.

Daytime: Scorching heat

Nighttime: Bitter cold

Inhabitants: Deadly beings known as Rift Walkers, who feed on magical energy called Echoes.

Rifts (Devouring Gates)

Gateways that link the physical realm to the Void Realm. These rifts are the primary entry point for Rift Walkers and are highly unstable.

Rift Walkers

Creatures from the Void Realm sustained by their consumption of Echoes (residual magical energy).

Classification:

Hunters – Low-ranking, feed on weaker Echoes.

Trackers – Mid-tier, capable of sensing stronger Echoes.

Devourers – High-ranking, rare, and dangerous; consume powerful Echoes.

Abberants – Extremely rare, mutated Rift Walkers with unique traits and unpredictable power.

Echoes

Residual imprints of magical energy originating from the Abyss of Eternity. These Echoes vary in strength, resonance, and type, and they influence both magical behavior and Rift Walker activity.

The Abyss of Eternity (The Echo)

A metaphysical plane beyond mortal comprehension, where:

Time, space, and reality are distorted.

It is the birthplace of Echoes, and its influence bleeds into the real world through rifts and magical phenomena.
