"Make sure to pack everything you're gonna need for this mission. Also take the Kunai I gifted you earlier, the three-sided one. Also make sure you take this scroll, I put some warm clothes in there."
"Warm clothes ?"
"Believe me, you gonna need it."
"We are just gonna protect some film star, there is no reason for all this."
"Just take it."
Sakura grumbled as Sukuna was stuffing her bag with useless things. Team 7 just got another mission, something about escorting some film star. Upon hearing it, Sukuna went stiff for a second before personally deciding he'll be helping her pack her bag.
Sakura wished to stop, but ever since that morning, where, according to him she tried to assassinate him in his sleep, Sakura couldn't talk to him without losing her composure.
Its not like she haven't seen him naked, but that was when they were like 5. So why she just couldn't take out that hot feeling in her hand and mind ever since.
'Bad Sakura… the brother is your idiot.'
'Ehee… I mean the idiot is your brother, that line of thought. Stop being a perve.' She shook her head with intensity, causing Sukuna to glance over, who was busy recalling whether they need anything else to overthrow a tyrant beside hot clothes and lots of food.
Seeing his sister shaking her already barely working head while muttering something incoherent, he wished to ask, but wondered at this point what more damage prevention he can possibly do with her.
'Still, who made me her brother. Sigh…'
"You okay there ?"
"! Hah… yeah yeah, everything is fine. Completely fine." Startled, Sakura all but jerked back, causing her to almost stumble.
'Isn't she acting a bit strange. Is it that time of the month or something. Do girls even start their period when they're only 13. Should have paid more attention to biology classes.'
He slowly closed the gap between them, placing his hand on her forehead, causing her to stiffen at the sudden closeness.
"If you don't feel well then I can replace you in this mission. I believe Kakashi-sensei wouldn't mind. I can talk to Hokage-sama as well."
"No ! It..its nothing alright, just let go, I'm getting late." Her face heated up and instinctively, she jerked her head back.
Grabbing her bag, she was out of the door before he could blink.
'What the hell did I do wrong ?' He grumbled. Its true as people say, after a certain age girls become a complete mystery, impossible to decode.
Recently a new mission came for Team 7, one he recognized. It was one of the movie plots if he recalled it right. Something about a princess from the Land of Snow losing her entire country to her evil uncle and running around. Now Naruto and his team meet them and somehow all the past troubles catch up with her.
Naruto uses his plot armor and saves the country, saves the princess.
Typical shonen plotline. He wasn't very interested in it, good since he wasn't invited this time either. A bit worried about Sakura and the others since this was an entirely different country they were going to, where they will fight shinobi, but if they survived Zabuza then this shouldn't be that far off their reach.
Still, all of them had their Flying Thunder God marker with them, so he was reassured.
Sighing, he took his leave as well. He had to oversee Kiyomi's training like usual. Its been a while since he was helping with that alongside his own training after the impromptu realization that he was getting too relaxed.
Making his way to their agreed training area, he found her already hacking away at the tree trunk. He decided to help in part because he wished to observe her progress and see how he himself could improve, just as they say, being a teacher teaches you more.
Another reason being the other outcome which he didn't wish to see. Mainly the Sasuke route, as he called it.
Uchiha partially lose their rational mind upon awakening their Sharingan. And the other half was lost upon Mangekyo awakening.
He just didn't wish to see her running away from the village like her brother did in search of power. Cause behind her will be Sasuke, and behind that idiot will be Naruto and his idiot sister.
Just nip the problem at the root.
'2 months of training and she still can't land a single Black Flash…' Sukuna hummed, observing from further away. He gave her the Sakura-style training regime, knowing her chakra control was decent and just like Sakura, she also had an advantage of real physical strength.
The fact that both chakra-infused punches and Black Flash more or less work on similar basics was a cherry on top.
During this time he had ironed out all other of her skills while also keeping up with his own, now much more grueling, training style.
Nodding, he went to practice on his own. A little further away was a clearing which he had claimed as his own little training zone.
Nothing too destructive, just a lot of theory testing.
"Okay…" he breathed the fresh air in, inhaling it to the point his lungs couldn't contain anymore and slowly releasing to relax himself and focus his mind.
'Lets pick up from tomorrow, where the hell I'm going wrong here ?
Every time I try to open my domain, it fizzles out like a candle in front of a storm, can't even do what Megumi did with an incomplete domain.
Where I'm going wrong. Even my barrier skills are up to point to not be a bottleneck, hell I can open a Simple Domain with ease, so why not a normal Domain.' He thought, mind going through Ryomen Sukuna's memories.
A Domain is the peak of a Jujutsu sorcerer's power. To apply a Domain, one has to have complete understanding of one's technique.
'At least that's the only thing which seems to be the case. I'm lagging in understanding.' He grumbled, pondering how that is even possible when he knew everything Ryomen did.
Every sorcerer's understanding of their technique is different, even a similar technique could perform much differently at the hands of two different individuals.
'Is my understanding of Shrine different from Ryomen's. I did learn mostly from him and the show, the manga, and the later YouTube explanations which Gege basically forced us to do by how complicated JJK was in its power system sometimes.'
'Shrine cuts and sets things to fire… what there was more to it ? Maybe the reverse technique, which sews things together, attaches them, and makes popsicles come out.'
'Actually its an interesting thing that Ryomen Sukuna himself didn't fully understand his technique, or rather he just accepted it as it was. A tool of destruction.
In my hands though I never actually use it for destruction, its more like a killing weapon than destruction. If his shrine was an RPG launcher then mine would be a sniper.
And perhaps that's why I can't open my domain by replicating his method. His domain was the peak of raw destruction in Jujutsu Kaisen. It might be a mistranslation, but it wasn't too wrong when one of the characters stated that Ryomen Sukuna's domain was Divine.
I have to find my own variation of Domain. Somehow…' He sighed, tossing a pebble at a tree, still wondering what kind of interpretation he should have of his domain to unlock it.
Just as he was about testing out a few methods, his instincts jolted up. A smile appeared on his face upon sensing the clearly familiar signature of the curse energy he felt.
"She did it."

Kiyomi had enough of it. For months she couldn't land that stupid technique. 'How he did it so effortlessly.' She grumbled, nursing her swollen and bloodied knuckles.
She's been hacking away at this tree trunk every single day outside the pure hand-to-hand combat training with Sukuna. And she saw no improvement. It was infuriating.
Anger from past months of useless effort made her flare out her Sharingan like it was the tree's fault, not hers. Sukuna did say to use Sharingan during her training, but even then she couldn't do it.
However, what now flared in her eyes was the Mangekyo, not ordinary Sharingan. After that ominous comment he made about the Mangekyo, she felt like not using it recklessly.
It irritated her more that one comment from that boy was making her so reluctant of her own power.
In her anger, she threw the punch once again. However, this time something different happened.
Time seemed to slow down a bit. She felt her curse energy inside her was flowing differently all of a sudden. More natural. More effortless. With more control and above all with a kind of efficiency which she never expected from herself to achieve.
Even before she knew it, she was already in the zone before even the punch landed.
A spectacular spark then ignited, completely black, thunder-like, something which was never seen before.
And then, to her amazement, the tree was torn open from the middle where her punch landed, thrown back like a powerful jutsu slammed onto it.
Kiyomi just remained there, standing still. She couldn't even be stunned because her mind was being inside the zone, processing things faster, making her accept the reality of her landing a Black Flash like it was nothing.
"I did it."
"Indeed you did."
"Wha!!!!… you scared me." Kiyomi almost jumped upon seeing Sukuna standing behind her.
"Yeah, that happens when you're in the zone. The cost of being laser-focused at one thing is being detached from everything else around you. Something as a sorcerer you need to learn could be very dangerous during battles. Make sure you keep that in mind."
"Tch… whatever." She rolled her eyes, though still filing that warning in.
"So, I land the damn thing, what now…"
"Now… hmmm lets see. How about another ice-cream date."
"Heh…!"
"What you say, its been a while. Come on, I'm paying."

A/N : How many remember the first date they had. I felt like doing it again for old time sake. Haha... As for his own power, well this was a little wake up call for him to start pushing his limits again. Get stronger.
Also show Kiyomi's mangekyo. I only named them so far, but I already know what power they will have. Their name being a hint, let see if anyone can figure out.
