The Honey Pot
FADE IN:
INT. SAFE HOUSE, GERMAN ALPS - DAY
The team has a map to the other Nodes. Malakor argues they should fortify their position and force The Null to come to them. Kaelen, however, decides they are done running. They are going on the offensive.
Main Plot:
The plan is to set a trap. They will use one of the newly discovered Nodes—a young artist in Prague—as bait. This is a dark moral choice, and it puts Kaelen in direct opposition to Julian, who feels they are using an innocent person as a pawn.
The episode is a high-stakes heist in reverse. They aren't stealing something; they are planting a trap for an enemy that can't be tricked by normal means.
* Leo and Kenji design a "temporal snare," a device that can temporarily disrupt a Silencer's immunity to temporal powers.
* Kaelen and Julian must convince the young artist, a man named Tomas, to trust them, without revealing the full, terrifying truth of his nature.
* Malakor provides the tactical support, using his resources to create a controlled environment for the ambush.
Side Story (Government):
General Thorne's investigation into the Analog Ghosts leads him to a hidden cache of their files. He finds a heavily redacted report on "Agent Zero" and a theoretical weapon called the "Prometheus Engine." He also finds a faded photograph of his grandfather standing with a group of scientists—the "Horologists." He realizes this secret war has been going on for generations.
The Dark Fight:
The climax is the ambush in a Prague art gallery. A Silencer arrives, as predicted. The team springs the trap. The temporal snare activates, and for the first time, the Silencer is vulnerable.
The fight is brutal. Julian finally gets to go head-to-head with a Silencer on even terms. Kaelen uses her "magic guns" to trap and disorient it. But the Silencer is still a formidable super-soldier. It adapts, its movements precise and deadly.
The fight ends with Kaelen using her Temporal Sight to predict its final move and trapping it in a Containment Field. They have captured a Silencer.
The episode ends with the team standing over the trapped, silent figure. They have won a major victory and captured their first piece of enemy technology. But they had to risk an innocent life to do it, and the moral cost weighs heavily on them.
