INT. FERRY HOLD - NIGHT
The team is broken. The crystal lens is a useless trophy. KAELEN is silent, staring at her own reflection, questioning her entire existence. ARIS, refusing to let her give up, finds the schematics for a temporal scanner in his grandfather's journal, giving them a desperate new mission: find Malakor's base and get Inez back. This leads them to a devil's bargain with THE CURATOR in Hong Kong, trading future knowledge for a chance at redemption.
EXT. ABANDONED DEEP-SEA RESEARCH PLATFORM, SOUTH CHINA SEA - NIGHT
The team infiltrates Malakor's rusting, storm-battered fortress. They move as one, a desperate unit fighting their way to the heart of the complex.
INT. CORE LABORATORY - NIGHT
They find DR. INEZ REYES strapped into Malakor's Chronovisor. MALAKOR stands beside the console, a look of grim satisfaction on his face.
He activates the machine. Kaelen screams as the raw data of the Oracle's "Original Sin" is forced into her mind—the cold, calculated murder that gave birth to her "perfect" world. Malakor expects this to shatter her, to prove his point that his tyranny is the only logical response.
He is wrong.
The psychic assault rips through her, tearing down her old beliefs. But in the ashes, something new is forged. The grief turns to rage. The disillusionment turns to iron resolve. Her utopia was a lie, yes—but Malakor's "solution" is just another, more brutal lie. They are two sides of the same corrupt coin.
Kaelen stumbles, but she does not fall. She rises, and when she opens her eyes, they are blazing with pure, violet light. The world has changed. She can see the shimmering after-images of movement, the branching paths of probability. She has unlocked Temporal Sight.
This is her badass entry. She is no longer a lost princess. She is a judge.
He raises a futuristic sidearm to fire at the console, to destroy any chance of them freeing Inez.
The fight begins.
To Malakor, Kaelen moves with impossible speed. To Kaelen, he is moving in slow motion. She sees the golden tracer of his shot before he even pulls the trigger. She raises her "magic gun" and fires a Containment Field, not at Malakor, but at the empty space where his energy blast will be. The blast hits the silver bubble and harmlessly dissipates.
Malakor fires again. Kaelen, already moving, fires a kinetic pulse at a pipe on the ceiling above him. It rusts and bursts, showering him with freezing coolant, causing his next shot to go wide.
He moves to free Inez. Malakor turns his weapon on him.
She sees the path of his aim. She fires a single, perfect shot. A stun pulse hits Malakor's weapon, and it flies from his hand, clattering across the floor.
She walks towards him, her eyes glowing, her aim steady. She is the predator now.
At that moment, the temporal energy from the Chronovisor broadcast reaches its peak. The platform groans. The lights die. The unnatural silence falls.
The rift in the sky tears open, a wound of pure nothingness. The Chronovore has been summoned.
The platform shudders violently. A massive girder breaks free from the ceiling, plummeting towards a trapped Aris and Kenji.
Without looking away from Malakor, she fires her containment field, catching the massive girder in a bubble of frozen time just inches above their heads. She has saved her friends, won her fight, and stared down her nemesis, all in the same breath.
The episode ends with all three factions—Kaelen's team (led by their newly empowered, formidable leader), a stunned and weaponless Malakor, and Anja Vogel's newly arrived, terrified Ghosts—staring at the cosmic horror they have unleashed. Kaelen has found her strength, only to be faced with a war against a god.
FADE TO BLACK.
