Blood God Legion, Blood God Camp.

Bai Xu's Room.

"You're back?"

"Yes, I'm back."

"You've come at just the right time," Bai Xu remarked with a sigh, his gaze fixed on the abyss before him. "Things are about to get busy soon."

"It's been so long since we last saw each other. Don't you have anything to say to me?" Gu Yue chuckled softly.

"We haven't been apart for that long. By the way, after your consciousness awakened, do you still have Gu Yuena's memories?" Bai Xu asked.

"Of course. I remember every moment of those intimate days we spent together."

"..."

Gu Yue's words left Bai Xu momentarily speechless. It was clear that she still harbored some resentment. Though the three of them were originally one, coexisting peacefully was no easy feat. She walked leisurely to the mirror in Bai Xu's room, studying her reflection. There was no woman in the world who could compare to her—the title of Silver Dragon Princess was well-deserved.

"This body is truly breathtaking—radiant as spring blossoms, pure as the autumn moon. Her face carries traces of both my former self and Na'er's. No one in this world could rival her." Gu Yue turned around, her beauty unparalleled, her eyes half-lidded with a seductive glint, as if deliberately tempting him. "Don't you want to?" she whispered.

Bai Xu froze, suppressing the stirring in his heart. He coughed dryly and said sternly, "I promised Gu Yuena I wouldn't lay a finger on her. Besides, if something were to happen, the dynamics between us would become even more complicated."

Hearing this, Gu Yue frowned slightly, though her expression quickly returned to normal. She smiled faintly. "Heh, I didn't expect your self-control to be so strong."

Her tone turned serious. "What's coming next won't be simple. The Holy Spirit Cult has colluded with the abyss. Are you sure you still want to stay here? Right now, there are only three people in the entire Blood God Legion capable of devouring the abyss's energy. It goes without saying—they'll definitely target us."

"It's fine. I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve. But you… don't you dare pull any 'sacrifice yourself to save me' stunts. Even if one of us were to die, the other should live on resolutely. Only by surviving can there be hope."

"Alright."

Meanwhile .

Tang Wulin had won the championship of the mecha competition. At this moment, the cheers within the Blood God Legion were undoubtedly the loudest, as both the soul master and mecha tournament champions hailed from their ranks—this was their glory!

However, some also felt regret on Tang Wulin's behalf. Long Yuxue approached him and comforted him, "Even if you didn't win both championships, in my heart, you're still the best."

And at this very moment, deep within the abyssal passage, a black vortex was silently forming in a spot far from the seal.

Wispy strands of black energy coalesced into this vortex, its size steadily expanding. Within it, faint purple lightning flickered.

A pitch-black hand slowly emerged from the vortex, followed by an intense surge of abyssal energy, erupting like a geyser!

"Beep, beep, beep, beep…" A shrill alarm rang out simultaneously with the Blood God Legion's cheers, echoing through every corner of the base.

Bai Xu glanced at the flashing emergency alert on his Blood God Ring and sighed. "See? I told you your timing was impeccable."

"Let's go. The nourishment for restoring our strength has arrived," Gu Yue said with confidence.

BOOM!

A deafening explosion resounded from within the abyssal passage as a colossal figure emerged from its depths.

It was a monstrous creature standing a hundred meters tall, with six razor-sharp claws, its entire body covered in black chitin-like armor. Molten dark-red liquid, resembling lava, flowed across its form.

The Six-Claw Demon Emperor!

With its appearance, the black vortex doubled in size, and hordes of four-clawed and six-clawed bats swarmed out.

The main passage of the abyss was the widest, and in an instant, these abyssal creatures surged outward like a tidal wave.

Key figures like Zhang Huanyun and Blood One, the backbone of the legion, quickly took their positions. The Blood Gods stood ready, while Bai Xu and Gu Yue, having not participated in the Star Battle Network's mecha tournament, were the first to appear at the frontlines of the abyssal battlefield.

"What's going on?! How could abyssal creatures breach the seal and appear so close to us?!" a commander who had long been stationed in the main passage roared, sensing something amiss. But his voice was soon drowned out by the tide of abyssal creatures.

Without a doubt, this would be the largest abyssal tide in history, rivaling even the one from over six thousand years ago when the abyssal plane first descended.

"Quick, fall back to the exit and hold the main passage!" Orders were issued rapidly as mechas flickered into action, rushing toward the passage's exit. Under the cover of soul energy beams, they swiftly retreated, setting up defensive lines at the exit.

Whoosh!

A fifty-meter-tall willow tree's phantom suddenly materialized in the abyssal passage. Countless white willow catkins scattered like snowflakes, forming a massive white tide that clashed against the black abyssal surge, buying precious seconds for the Blood God Legion soldiers to retreat.

"It's Bai Xu!" someone shouted in relief, diving into the white tide and glancing back at the boundary where black and white collided.

But it was clear to the naked eye—Bai Xu's willow catkins were gradually being pushed back. They couldn't even hold for ten seconds before the overwhelming black tide forced them into retreat. Still, those few seconds saved the lives of hundreds of soldiers, allowing them to reach the main passage exit and set up their soul energy weapons in defense.

"Let's go!"

Seeing Bai Xu struggling to hold on, Gu Yue grabbed his collar and teleported them both to the passage exit.

ROAR!

A frenzied bellow erupted from the depths of the abyssal passage. The sea of abyssal creatures parted as the hundred-meter-tall Six-Claw Demon Emperor emerged, surrounded by its minions.

Among the 108 Abyssal Monarchs, the Six-Claw Demon Emperor ranked 97th.

Zhang Huanyun stood in full military attire, the three general's stars on his shoulders gleaming. His expression was grave as he gave Bai Xu a grateful nod before directing the Blood God Legion's defenses. The thousand-year-old defensive systems activated one after another, resisting the onslaught of the abyssal tide.

With his arrival, the legion's defensive lines became more organized, and the soldiers' morale stabilized.

This was the power of personal charisma. Zhang Huanyun had served in the Blood God Legion for sixty years—he was its pillar. It was because of him that the legion had such unity and had reached its strongest point in six millennia.

The Six-Claw Demon Emperor was nothing to fear—its strength was only at the level of a Hyper Douluo. Its current threat was solely due to the tide's momentum.

"Bai Xu, Gu Yuena, once the tide recedes, do your best to devour the energy of the slain abyssal creatures. Doing so will be an immense contribution to the Blood God Legion," Zhang Huanyun transmitted to them.

"Understood!" they replied in unison.

For now, the only thing weighing on Zhang Huanyun's mind was this: if the first wave already included the Six-Claw Demon Emperor, what stronger abyssal creatures might follow? Moreover, the fact that the passage's seal had been breached so easily… something felt off.

"Should we request reinforcements from the Federation? Ask the Spirit Pagoda and the War God Temple to send people?" Blood One asked Zhang Huanyun.

Zhang Huanyun replied solemnly, "The distress signal has already been sent. But reinforcements won't arrive quickly. Even the War God Temple's forces will take at least ten days to get here. More importantly, we don't know what's wrong with the seal. Even if the War God Temple's experts come, we can only compete with the abyss in a battle of attrition—and that's our weakest point."

Within the legion's ranks, someone recognized Bai Xu and Gu Yuena. Pulling his hat lower, he glanced at them briefly before turning away, waiting for the most critical moment.

Just then, Blood One suddenly looked up and waved toward the direction they had come from.

Tang Wulin promptly flapped his wings and descended from the sky.
