The light of the rising sun was leaking through the large windows of the main Elrod estate as a small kid looking around the age of five, with his platinum white hair shining below the light and his heterochromic Golden-crimson eyes softly glowing. As the sound of his little footsteps running while a tired voice of figure with green eyes, red hair and freckles on his face yelling with low energy.
"YOUNG MASTER A PLEASE STOP RUNNING, YOU NEED TO LEARN THE FAMILY HISTORY AND THE BASIC ROYAL EDUCATION!"
A replied with zero sarcasm in his light voice, as his running speed slowly increased as his energy slowly started to deplete.
"Teacher, you can just teach them to me at night, as it will help me in sleeping."
Something bumped into A, A looked up and saw a dark skinned man with a claw-like scar on his face with black hair and left eye missing. The man ignored A and just left towards the throne room while one of the 2 guards escorting him knelt down to A apologising with genuine passion.
"Young Lord A, i apologise on the behalf the beast catcher Kraken, he doesn't know who you are, I hope you can understand"
A looked confused for half a second as he remembered, the excitement on his face couldn't be hidden as he yelled.
"THAT RUDE GUY IS FAMOUS BEAST CATCHER KRAKEN!"
Guard taken aback by the sudden excitement of A, he slowly nodded then asked A if he could return to his duty.
"Young lord, I apologise for my rudeness, but may I return to my position?"
Before A or the guard could react, A suddenly gets picked up from behind as a feminine voice with authority radiating from her voice, commanding the guard.
"You may return to your position."
The guard taken aback by the sudden appearance of the empress quickly says.
"Yes, my queen." The guard quickly runs to his position.
A looks quite offended, like a five year old says as Versa turns A to her face as her reflection present in A's heterochromatic golden-crimson eyes.
"Mom, why didn't you let me speak? I was about to ask him to escort me to Kraken as I want to meet him."
Versa holding back smiling too much seeing A's absolutely adorable pouting face as she somehow manages to say.
"Dear, my love…. I mean Arthur… I mean your dad has some very important stuff he wants to talk about with Kraken. So how about I personally call you to meet Kraken when Daddy is done talking."
A's pout disappears as his eyes shines with anticipation, as his facial expression was a heart melting question.
"Really!!??"
Versa places a hand in front of her as A's shining eyes overpowered her as she answers.
"Really really, so let me now place you with your older brother Allen as I have some work to do."
Versa runs at Full speed as she arrives at the training ground where Allen was practicing his swordsman, thus Versa yells.
"Allen can you watch A for sometime i have to go to the discussion before Arthur messes with negotiations"
Versa sprints to the throne room so fast that it seems like she disappeared from reality itself.
Ignoring that sprint of their mother, Allen turns to A with his pure white eyes reflecting the light like a silver spear and asks with a straight face.
"Wanna learn how to fight?"
A with the world's most wholesome smile replied.
"Yes!, will you really really teach me!?"
Allen's face shifted as a grin so devilish that even an arch demon would be scared, manifested on his face as he said.
"Yes of course, but 1st run 5 laps around the castle because I need to see your stamina."
A's smile disappeared as he asked Allen.
"Do I really have to?"
Allen's face without any change answered.
"Yes, now get running."
A mumbled something and started to run the laps.
"This is the reason sister Julia greets you with a boot to the face before a hug"
Allen acted to be visibly confused about what A said but too embarrassed so he acted to not to hear it
Around 2 hours laters
A finally completed his 5 laps as Allen watches and says.
"Not bad for your age, you can go to your room now as from tomorrow i will teach you how to use Mana to cast basic spells."
A's eyes light up as his exhaustion seems to disappear and asks with complete excitement..
"Does that mean no more laps around the castle?!"
Allen ruffles A's hair as he responds with a genuine smile.
"I said you are not bad for your age, I didn't say you are good either so only 2 laps instead of 5."
A looks a little sad but remembers instead of 5 it's 2 so seems a little less sad as A checks out and begins to head off to his room ignoring Allen because he's still a little sad that he still has to run laps.
On the way to his room as A passes through the meeting hall, a strange feeling pulls A towards the meeting hall door.
As A was about to open the door, the door opened itself as a Fox, its fur pure white with blue sigils on its body. Sits on A head like it belongs there.
A still standing as a deep laugh starts echoing through the room as a deep voice says.
"I thought the Elrod family of Xaoc would be like any other royal family but this is unexpected. Ehh so Emperor Arthur I would like to sign the contract for the beast supply to the military of Xaoc. And this young lad can keep this fox as it seems to have taken a liking to this young lad."
A's eyes shine as he jumps up and thanks.
"I thought you were a rude guy but you are actually super cool… What should I call you? Uncle Kraken? Aunty Kraken? Noo that is used to refer to girls so —"
Before A could further diss Kraken by accident Arthur goes behind A and places a hand on A's mouth as Arthur whispers into A's ears.
"Son it isn't the correct time to dishonor Kraken, do it after he signs the contract papers. So now go to your room and try to make a bond with your new familer."
Thus A sprints off to his room as Versa is internally laughing, Arthur visibly looking unchanged but his divine energy shows laughter meanwhile Kraken is rolling on the floor laughing.
At A's room
A sits on his bed cross legged as A pulls out a beast taming book while the fox sits on A's shoulder as A reads.
"To Make a Master-Familiar Contract one must pour some blood of self into the breast's mouth and the success rate of this contract depends upon the compatibility rate between the two."
A looks confused as he only understood 30% of the stuff. As in his unending wisdom he uses a fork to slightly make a hole in his pinky finger of the left hand.
As the blood flows A offers the blood to the fox, the fox accepts as it licks the bloods.
A's injury disappears as a circle of mana appears below them. As A's mind gets filled every bit of information about the fox.
As A starts laughing and says.
"How did you survive for five years like you are only 3 months and 27 days younger than me but yet no name so i will give you One from that story Book, hmmmmm… Loki because you can teleport"
Loki seems to be happy with his new name and sleeps on A's head again.
