Chapter 4 - chapter 4: creation of heaven,underworld and the attribute panel(Rewrite)

After finishing my daily activities, I activated the Root Link skill once again and reached the origin of the world.

I made some modifications to the panel, adding simple functions like a map, inventory, basic phone features such as video recording and image capture, note saving, and most importantly, an attribute panel specifically for attributes based on the inheritance of the World Tree from the game-like world.

Once again, I realized how fortunate I was for the opportunity I received, and I have to say I'm immensely grateful for this encounter.

Regarding these modifications, I should have completed them yesterday. But overriding the will of an entire universe and forging even a simple panel put quite a strain on my soul. Now that I've recovered, I needed to add these functions for convenience.

Once again, I felt the strain in my soul and decided I would return later if additional functions were needed.

If you're wondering how I forged this panel, you need to understand that the forge aspect of my talent allows me to create literally anything from anything—but there's a catch: I must fully understand how it works, or else I expend massive amounts of energy.

This is where the overriding aspect of my talent comes into play. It lets me override any limitations—or even concepts themselves—as long as I have the will and imagination to do so.

This is why I'm overpowered. The radius of this talent, however, is directly linked to my life level. That's why I used Override on the origin of this universe—so my powers now operate at the scale of the entire universe.

This also explains why the tier on my panel displayed "???"—because as long as I exist in this universe, I am technically a universe-tier powerhouse.

This is why I believe knowledge and imagination are crucial. Even if I have a defect in my talent, I can overcome it with my knowledge and imagination.

If this talent were given to someone less intelligent than me, they would at most use it like a domain, slowly build their power, and gradually expand the range—which seems inefficient. On the other hand, someone more knowledgeable than me could use it even more efficiently and conveniently.

After realizing this, I concluded that the only thing holding my talent back was me—nothing else. I have no excuses.

Although I'm not the most intelligent or knowledgeable protagonist, I'm not completely lacking either. I consider myself at least above average in both.

So, I decided not to let my powers make me arrogant, nor to be overly humble like some meek protagonists. I set a goal to achieve a grounded, egoless inner self: someone humble, yet fully aware of their own worth.

I refuse to let my weaknesses become burdens. I strive to overcome them while also leveraging my strengths, without neglecting either.

After identifying areas where I lacked, I worked to overcome them using my current knowledge and imagination. Sometimes smart work yields better results than sheer hard work.

After dinner, I returned to my room and once again connected to the origin using the Root Link skill. This time, I aimed to link my Analysis skill and Library talent with my main talent to create a prototype of the Akashic Records—yes, like those in fantasy novels, storing information about the entire universe.

Once complete, it allows me to use the center of origin as a supercomputer, granting access to all information in this universe without burdening my soul or brain, reducing the need to come here constantly.

I must confess: using the power of the universe's origin is exhilarating. It allows me to do anything I want in this universe—but I calmed myself, knowing this isn't good for my mental health.

After finishing, I returned to my room in my soul form. I should mention that every time I come here, it's as my soul because my body cannot handle the energy density, whereas my soul can—perhaps adapted during my transmigration to this universe.

This is also why my soul and body are now linked, much like Rimuru after his Demon Lord evolution (albeit slightly weaker or stronger depending on its nature, as explained in previous chapters).

After brainstorming, I devised an efficient way to solve the evil spirit problem in this world. I mentally listed all possible methods, noting the pros and cons in the panel's notes section. The solution: create both a Heaven and an Underworld in this universe.

This world wasn't always like this. It used to have its own Underworld where souls could be reincarnated—no Heaven, though.

The Underworld was basic, operating under fixed rules instead of supervision, which meant no punishments for the wicked and no rewards for the good—but at least it prevented the world from being overrun by evil spirits, unlike now.

The current problem stems from the world's inability to evolve from a low-level state, compounded by backlash from certain rules in the multiverse or omniverse, according to the Akashic Records.

If it had evolved properly, it might have gained self-awareness similar to the Heavenly Dao in cliche Chinese novels. Though chances were low, success would have made my work far more difficult. I consider this a personal win. Completing this also helps me overcome another limit: my soul power and its recovery.

(A/N: Some readers may wonder why MC doesn't use soul consumption or manipulation to kill animals and recover soul strength. The reason: better methods exist, and MC is a compassionate soul. He won't harm animals unnecessarily, though he may evolve later—he will never become completely evil.)

I began creating the Underworld, using myths as a reference. I designed it as a parallel dimension to the living world—let's call it Midgard for fun.

Unlike mythology, my Underworld is completely black, like the Shadow Dimension from Jackie Chan Adventures. I also created a Shadow Army—a combination of original shadow soldiers and grim reapers from various anime—to punish evil and maintain order.

Since I can't be in Hell constantly, I gave the soldiers a minor part of my soul manipulation skill. They can inflict soul damage and collect fragments of evil souls. This creates a hellish experience for the wicked, and their next reincarnation may suffer brain damage, as soul quality affects intelligence in this world's rules. Irrational evil spirits are converted into pure soul power for my cultivation.

Next, I created Heaven and light soldiers—opposites of the Shadow Soldiers in aura and appearance. I also established a merit and demerit system for Heaven and the Underworld, linked to the Akashic Records.

Through this, soldiers can judge souls and maintain world order.

I consider this a triple win: increasing my soul energy, improving my soul quality, and achieving peace in my daily life by clearing evil spirits.

You might think these earth-shaking changes would expose everyone to the supernatural—but no. My talent's anonymous aspect ensures all actions remain undetectable as long as it's my power.

Since I overrode the world and made it mine, no outer god, narrative prime, or higher entity outside this universe can detect it. This also serves as a shield against threats from outer universes until I grow stronger.

Even someone like Miko Yotsuya might notice evil spirits disappearing, but they cannot see my soldiers—they exist as part of my power, unless I allow otherwise. This is one of my talent's most useful functions.

After completing all this, I slept peacefully, my expectations rising both for a tranquil daily life and for my personal power growth.
