Chapter 341 - Chapter 341: Snape: Your Teaching is Useless! Ethan: Then Watch Closely ————— Expel Your Dog Life!

Boom!

Crack!

"Aaaaaah!"

"Oh~"

Accompanied by a series of thunderous noises, two gargoyles moved with incredible agility. They wove in and out of the crowd as if entering an uninhabited land, easily flipping the little wizards—who had lost their wands—onto the ground!

Looking at the miserable state of affairs all around him, Ethan shook his head and said, "Tsk, tsk. You can't even last thirty seconds? What a bunch of weaklings."

"But it doesn't matter," Ethan continued, his tone soaring with excitement and determination as he encouraged them. "I won't give up on you!"

Everyone: Please, we're begging you, just give up on us!!

Under their terrified gazes, Ethan reached into his robes and pulled out a heap of Invigoration Potions.

Illuminated by the eerie green glow of the potions, that face—obscured by a swirling vortex pattern—displayed a kind of "gentleness" that made people want to scream and run away.

"Don't worry, I've prepared plenty of stamina-restoring potions for you... This class is still long, and we have plenty of time to try~"

Everyone: "..."

Don't come over here...

Tap, tap, tap.

The sound of Ethan's leather boots striking the floor was like a death knell. Every step seemed to stomp directly onto their hearts, making them palpitate with fear.

"N-no, don't... I don't have anything left...!" Ron wailed. His face, already flush, crinkled up like a boiled tomato. "How are we supposed to learn like this?! This imposter of a professor just wants to prep us like food ingredients!"

Even Harry, a member of the Enlightenment Society who had been drilled by Ethan for years, was currently lying on the ground, gasping for breath. Losing his wand felt like losing his own limbs.

"How could we possibly learn it so simply..." Harry stared at the professor with the vortex face.

The more he looked, the more this sadistic, Khornate vibe felt incredibly familiar.

...Could it really be Ethan?

But unless Headmaster Dumbledore had been bribed, it was impossible for him to actually let Ethan serve as a professor.

N-no, it's impossible, Harry thought to himself. Headmaster Dumbledore is upright and honest. He already possesses immense power and countless riches. There is completely no point on which he could be bribed.

There was only one truth.

That was: no one in the Wizarding World was willing to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts anymore. So, Dumbledore had literally summoned a devil from another dimension!

Although it was absurd, Harry felt that with his brilliant brain, he had glimpsed the truth.

Just as the demon was approaching with elegant strides, a drawling voice suddenly rang out:

"I believe your teaching methods are entirely ineffective, 'Respected' Professor Ann Norn."

Ethan paused.

He stopped walking and tilted his head.

He saw Professor Snape walking slowly out of the shadows behind the crowd, standing before the Slytherin students.

"Head of House..."

Malfoy wept with gratitude. His blonde hair, originally plastered with an excessive amount of hair gel, was now sticking messily to his face.

He received a look of disdain from his Head of House.

...Really can't compare to Ethan.

Professor Snape pursed his lips. He withdrew his gaze and stared ahead at that terrifying, swirling face, speaking coldly:

"You are merely satisfying your own amusement. I see not the slightest improvement in these little trolls... It seems Headmaster Dumbledore chose the wrong person."

"You might as well resign early."

And let me be the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

Snape lifted his chin arrogantly. According to the order of succession, it should never have gone to a student who hadn't even graduated yet!

Malfoy froze, blinking in confusion.

Why did it feel like... Professor Snape hadn't stepped forward to protect them? But rather... because he wanted to snatch the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor?!

Malfoy shed two broad streams of tears.

Seeing the heavy atmosphere between the two, implying invisible undercurrents surging back and forth, the students were stunned.

"Merlin!" Ron's eyes lit up with the light of gossip. "Everyone knows how much Snape covets the Defense Against the Dark Arts position! This is great—he definitely can't stand this weirdo who popped out of nowhere!"

Fight! Fight!

Once they start fighting, the weirdo won't have time to torture us anymore! Ideally, he gets fired!

On the other side, the professors were equally surprised.

Professor McGonagall said in astonishment, "Although Severus has always wanted this position, he usually cares about propriety and wouldn't openly object..."

Even with the most incompetent Gilderoy Lockhart, Snape had only mocked him in private.

"Hmm, yes," Professor Flitwick muttered. "It feels... more like a personal vendetta."

Could it be that this strange Vortex Man had offended Snape before?

Hehe, no way, right?

The Vortex Man should have just arrived in the human world for the first time. How could he have done something like accidentally poking Snape's sore spot regarding Lily, accidentally promising Snape the world only to ruthlessly exploit him, or accidentally stealing the position Snape had been waiting years for?

"Sounds like something only Ethan would do, hahaha." Professor Flitwick smiled brightly and naively.

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, the "Vortex Man" finally spoke:

"You are absolutely right, Little Sev."

"Little Sev" · Snape: "..."

Damn it.

His fingers twitched; the urge to beat this brat was uncontrollable.

Despite this, "Professor Norn's" tone remained peaceful and gentle, like the warm sun rising in winter. However, after just half a class of "getting along," the crowd only felt pain crawling all over their bodies when they heard it.

Ethan said sincerely, "I was too merciful. I should let the students realize the feeling of wandless magic immediately."

As his voice faded, and before anyone could react, Ethan raised his hand.

His slender finger pointed at a bewildered student in the crowd. Without any wind-up, he said:

"Expel Your Life."

In an instant, a terrifying green light blasted forth!

Like a sharp arrow, it crossed the distance in a flash, shooting straight toward the dazed student!

"NO————!"

Like a stone suddenly thrown into a calm lake, time seemed to freeze into a painting at that moment.

Professor McGonagall raising her wand.

Professor Snape's eyes widening in shock.

And Harry, diving toward the student.

Bang!

The green light struck a barrier and exploded violently!

Amidst the scattering points of light, what appeared before everyone's eyes was a magical shield!

"Merlin's beard! Was that wandless magic?! He actually succeeded!!" Ron blurted out, his heart filled with both shock and a bit of bitterness.

Everyone was stunned.

Professor McGonagall's hand, holding her wand, froze in mid-air. Her mouth hung open in an "O" shape.

Under the shocked gazes, Harry held up his hand, panting heavily.

He could feel his heart pounding relentlessly from the sudden burst of adrenaline.

S-Succeeded...?

He hadn't used a wand, yet he had cast a defensive barrier?

Just now, Harry had simply recalled Cedric being hit by the Killing Curse in the graveyard. Then, his body had moved subconsciously.

Harry stared blankly at the fragile, translucent barrier in front of his palm.

He reached out tentatively to touch it.

The moment he made contact, the barrier shattered and dissipated.

——————Although it was incredibly fragile.

It was, nonetheless, a genuine piece of wandless magic!

"..."

Snape's face turned abruptly dark!
