(Note:hello everyone,I'm excited to start my new project, which is actually the continuation/editing of someone else's novel. As this is my first time writing a novel,I appreciate your patience and feedback. I'll be doing my best to bring this novel to life while respecting the original authors work. Lets get started!)
It was just your average day for me,and for most people,it was about 8 o'clock, and I just recently ended my shift. Currently, I was walking down the empty street as I headed home after a long busy day at work and unfortunately, I didn't have the luxury of coming home to a beautiful wife or girlfriend;Damn I didn't even have a friend who's a girl, let alone a girlfriend.
"Haa,how does life fucking suck when I'm only 21?"Muttered Max,sulking as he kicked a small pabble into the road, only for it to get run over by a passing car.
Sigh once more as I lamented my boring, repetitive and slightly miserable life, I heard voices in a nearby alley.Driven by curiosity, I walked over the and so a man holding a woman by a her throat
As I approached the man,he looked up and our eyes met,his gaze cold and menacing, and in a low, gravelly voice, growled,"Mind your own business".
"Let her go"I said firmly, trying to keep my voice steady, but the man's grip on the woman's throat only tightened, and she struggled to breath.
The woman's locked into mine, and I saw a desperate plea for help. I tooke another step forward, my fist clenched at my sides. "Let her go" I repeated, my voice firm but controlled.
The man let's goes the woman's throat,as his smile grew wider as he cracked his knuckles."You think you can take me on?bring it on,hero"
Without warning, he charged at me,but I was ready.I sidestepped his attack and landed a swift kick to his stomach. He grunted, but barley stumbled.
'Haha thankfully I practiced martial arts in my free times or else this mother fucker would have broken me, feel the pain'
I followed up with flurry of punches and kicks, each one precise and calculated. My training in martial arts had taught me how to take down opponents with efficiency and speed
But the man was no ordinary opponent. He absorbed each blow, his body tensing and relaxing like a coiled spring. And then, he counterattacked.
His fist shot out like a bullet, connecting with my jaw. I stumbled backward, my vision blurring. I tried to regain my footing, but he was relentless.
A kick landed on my chest, sending me crashing to the ground. I tried rolling away, but he pinned me down, his knee on my throat.
I struggled to breathe, my vision fading to black. The woman's screams grew distance as I realized I was beaten.
The man's face blurred above me, his eyes cold and merciless."You should have stayed out of this he snarled, his voice distant
"aargh"
And then,everything went black
The woman's screams were the last thing I heard before my vision faded to nothingness.
