Background Story:

Noël was abandoned at the doorstep of an orphanage as a two-week-old infant. Beside him was a simple note written by his biological mother. It stated only his name, Noël, chosen because he was born on Christmas Day. His gender, and his secondary gender as an Omega.

Soon after, news came that his mother had been found dead under suspicious circumstances in her home. The cause of her death was never determined. Noël grew up in the orphanage, where he watched other children come and go, adopted into families while he remained behind.

Despite being sweet and eager to help with chores, Noël was never chosen. Most people considered him too fragile, a label often placed on male Omegas. As a result, he grew up quiet and lonely, forming a deep attachment only to the orphanage's kind caretaker who raised him like a son.

At 18, Noël had to leave the orphanage due to age restrictions. His caretaker, determined to give him a chance, managed to enroll him in university. However, they couldn't afford the full tuition. In his third year, Noël was forced to drop out. Still, he didn't give up. He searched tirelessly for work, but due to prejudice against "delicate" Omegas and his lack of formal experience, he faced constant rejection.

One rainy afternoon, after being turned away from a laundromat he hoped would hire him, Noël sat on the curb outside, trying to figure out his next move. That was when a well-dressed woman, Avery Cheng's secretary approached him with a job offer. Unknown to Noël, Avery had been watching from across the street. Something about the quiet Omega had caught his attention. And so, with that single encounter, Noël's life changed completely.

About Cheng Corporation:

Cheng Corporation is a powerful and multi-faceted conglomerate specializing in luxury property development, high-end smart home technology, and elite-level security systems. Known for its cutting-edge innovations and strict privacy policies, the company caters exclusively to upper-class clients and high-ranking government officials. Avery inherited the CEO position from his father at a young age and has since elevated the corporation into one of the top names in Asia's elite business sphere.

Background Story:

Avery Cheng was born into wealth and excellence. The only son of the founders of Cheng Corporation, he was raised in a marble mansion, attended by private tutors and nannies, and enrolled in elite international schools. His life was surrounded by success, wealth, and influence but never by affection.

His parents, both high-ranking Alphas themselves, were rarely home. They were more focused on expanding their empire than raising a child. They ensured Avery had everything he needed except warmth. As a result, Avery learned early on to suppress emotions and rely only on himself. His days were filled with scheduled perfection: etiquette classes, military-grade discipline, language lessons, and high-performance expectations. Failure was not an option. Emotions were a weakness.

By the time he was a teenager, Avery had internalized this belief. He stopped seeking approval and focused instead on becoming the perfect heir. As an adult, he ascended to the CEO seat with sharp precision, transforming the company with cold efficiency. Employees respected him, feared him even, but no one truly knew him. Outside of work, he kept everyone at arm's length.

He now lives in the same secluded mansion where he grew up. An elegant, spacious place that feels more like a museum than a home. The only person left from his childhood is the aging house nanny, Ms. Agnes, who helped raise him. Despite his emotional distance, Avery allows her to stay out of respect and unspoken attachment. However, her age has made it difficult to maintain the estate.

After several failed attempts to hire a trustworthy housekeeper (his paranoia and control issues often scaring them away), Avery sends his secretary to scout discreetly for someone quiet, clean, and unobtrusive. That's when he notices a fragile-looking Omega sitting quietly outside a laundromat. Something in the way the boy looked—resigned, yet proud—piqued his curiosity. That boy was Noël.

Though Avery doesn't understand why, he offers Noël the job through his secretary. It's the first decision he makes based on instinct rather than logic—and it marks the beginning of a slow unraveling of the emotional armor he's worn his whole life
